1 Cronicas 26
1 Alang sa mga pagbanusbanus sa mga magbalantay sa pultahan: sa mga Coratnon, si Meselemia anak nga lalake ni Core, sa mga anak nga lalake ni Asaph.
This is a list of the groups of men who guarded the temple gates: From the descendants of Korah, there was Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, who was one of the sons of Asaph.
2 Ug si Meselemia may mga anak nga lalake: si Zacharias, ang panganay, si Jediael ang ikaduha, si Zebadias ang ikatolo, si Jatnael ang ikaupat.
The oldest son of Meshelemiah was Zechariah. His other sons were Jediael, Zebadiah, Jathniel,
3 Si Elam ang ikalima, si Johanam ang ikaunom, si Ellioenai ang ikapito.
Elam, Jehohanan, and Eliehoenai.
4 Ug si Obed-edom may mga anak nga lalake: si Semeias ang kamagulangan, si Jozabad ang ikaduha, si Joah ang ikatolo, ang ikaupat si Sachar, ug ang ikalima si Nathanael,
[Another guard] was Obed-Edom. His oldest son was Shemaiah. His other sons were Jehozabad, Joah, Sacar, Nethanel,
5 Si Amiel ang ikaunom, ang ikapito si Issachar, ang ikawalo si Peullethai; tungod kay ang Dios nanalangin kaniya.
Ammiel, Issachar, and Peullethai. It was because God had blessed him that he had many sons.
6 Kang Semeias usab nga iyang anak nga lalake may nangatawo nga mga anak nga lalake, nga nanagpangulo sa balay sa ilang amahan; kay sila mga tawo nga bantugan sa kaisug.
Obed-Edom’s son Shemaiah also had sons. They were leaders in their father’s family because they were capable of doing many things well.
7 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Semeias: si Othni, ug si Raphael, ug si Obed, si Elzabad, kansang mga kaigsoonan maoy mga tawo nga maisug si Eliu, ug si Samachias.
The sons of Shemaiah were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad. Shemaiah’s relatives Elihu and Semakiah were also capable men.
8 Kining tanan mao ang sa mga anak nga lalake ni Obed-edom: sila ug ang ilang mga anak nga lalake ug ang ilang mga kaigsoonan, mga kusganong tawo alang sa bulohaton; kanuman ug duha kang Obed-edom.
All of those descendants of Obed-Edom and their sons and relatives were capable people and strong workers. Altogether there were 62 of them.
9 Ug si Meselemia may mga anak nga lalake ug mga kaigsoonan, maisug nga mga tawo, napulo ug walo.
Another guard was Meshelemiah. He and his sons and relatives were also capable people. There were 18 of them altogether.
10 Si Hosa usab, sa mga anak ni Merari, may mga anak nga lalake: si Simri ang pangulo (kay bisan dili siya ang panganay, apan ang iyang amahan naghimo kaniyang pangulo),
Another guard was Hosah’s son Shimri, a descendant of Merari. Hosah appointed Shimri to be the leader, even though he was not Hosah’s oldest son.
11 Si Hilcias ang ikaduha, si Tebelias ang ikatolo, si Zacharias ang ikaupat: ang tanang mga anak nga lalake ug mga kaigsoonan ni Hosa napulo ug tolo.
Hosah’s other sons were Hilkiah, Tabaliah, and Zechariah. Altogether there were 13 sons and relatives of Hosah.
12 Gikan niini mao ang pagbanusbanus sa mga magbalantay sa pultahan, bisan sa mga tawong pangulo nga may mga katungdanan sama sa ilang mga kaigsoonan, sa pag-alagad diha sa balay ni Jehova.
Those men were leaders of the groups of men who guarded the gates of the temple. They worked at the temple like their relatives did.
13 Ug sila nanagpapalad, ang gagmay ug ang dagku, sumala sa mga balay sa ilang mga amahan mahitungod sa tagsatagsa ka pultahan.
By casting lots, the leader of each family chose one gate for their group to guard. [All of them, including] young men and old men (OR, including leaders of large families and small families), cast lots.
14 Ug ang kapalaran dapit sa silangan nahulog kang Selemias. Unya alang kang Zacharias nga iyang anak nga lalake, usa ka mabinantayon nga magtatambag, sila nanagpapalad; ug ang iyang kapalaran migula sa dapit sa amihanan.
Shelemiah’s group was selected to guard the East Gate. The group of Shelemiah’s son Zechariah, who was a wise counselor, was selected to guard the North Gate.
15 Kang Obed-edom dapit sa habagatan; ug sa iyang mga anak nga lalake ang balay nga tipiganan.
Then Obed-Edom’s group was selected to guard the South Gate, and his sons were selected to guard the [entrances to the temple] storerooms.
16 Ang kang Suppim ug kang Hosa dapit sa kasadpan, tupad sa pultahan sa Sallechet, sa dalan nga nagatungas, bantayan sa atbang sa bantayan.
Then Shuppim’s group and Hosah’s group were selected to guard the West Gate and the Shalleketh Gate on the upper road [to the temple]. The work for the guards was divided evenly.
17 Dapit sa silangan unom ka Levihanon, dapit sa amihanan upat sa usa ka adlaw, dapit sa habagatan upat sa usa ka adlaw, ug alang sa balay nga tipiganan tinagurha.
Each day there were six descendants of Levi who guarded the East Gate, four who guarded the North Gate, four who guarded the South Gate, and two at a time who guarded the entrances to the storerooms.
18 Alang sa Parbar dapit sa kasadpan, upat sa dalan, ug duha sa Parbar.
At the West gate there were two men who guarded the courtyard and four who guarded the road outside the courtyard.
19 Kini mao ang pagbanusbanus sa mga magbalantay sa pultahan; sa mga anak nga lalake sa mga Corahanon, ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari.
Those were the groups of men who were descendants of Korah and Merari who guarded the gates [of the temple].
20 Ug sa mga Levihanon, si Ahias ang magbalantay sa mga bahandi sa balay sa Dios, ug ibabaw sa mga bahandi sa mga hinalad nga mga butang.
Other descendants of Levi were in charge of the chests that contained the money that was dedicated to Yahweh, money that the people brought to the temple.
21 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Ladan, ang mga anak nga lalake sa mga Gersonhon nga sakup ni Ladan, mga pangulo sa mga balay sa mga amahan nga sakup kang Ladan ang Gersonhon: si Jehiel
[One of those men was] Ladan, a descendant of Gershon. He was the ancestor of several family groups. Jehiel was the leader of one of those family groups.
22 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Jehiel: si Setam, ug si Joel nga iyang igsoon nga lalake, nagbantay sa mga bahandi sa balay ni Jehova.
Others who had that work were Zetham and his [younger] brother Joel, who were the sons of Jehiel.
23 Sa mga Amramhanon, sa mga Isahrehanon, sa mga Hebronhon, sa mga Uzzielhanon:
Others who did that work were descendants of Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
24 Ug si Sebuel ang anak nga lalake ni Gerson ang anak nga lalake ni Moises, maoy magbubuot sa mga bahandi.
[From the descendants of Amram], Shubael, a descendant of Moses’s son Gershom, was the leader who was in charge of the money chests.
25 Ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan: sa kang Eliezer minggula si Rehabia iyang anak nga lalake, ug si Isaias iyang anak nga lalake, ug si Joram nga iyang anak nga lalake, ug si Zichri nga iyang anak nga lalake, ug si Selomith nga iyang anak nga lalake.
[Others who did that work were] the descendants of [Gershom’s younger brother] Eliezer. Those men were Eliezer’s son Rehabiah, Rehabiah’s son Jeshaiah, Jeshaiah’s son Joram, Joram’s son Zicri, and Zicri’s son Shelomith.
26 Kini si Selomith ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan nanagbantay sa tanang mga bahandi nga mga hinalad nga butang, nga gipahanungod ni David nga hari, ug sa mga pangulo sa mga balay sa mga amahan, ang mga capitan sa mga linibo ug mga ginatus, ug sa mga capitan sa panon.
Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all the valuable things that had been dedicated [to Yahweh] by King David, by the leaders of the family groups, by the army commanders of 1,000 soldiers and commanders of 100 soldiers, and by other army commanders.
27 Gikan sa mga sinakmit nga nadaug sa mga gubat ilang gipahanungod sa pag-ayo sa balay ni Jehova.
Some of the things that those army officers had taken [from Israel’s enemies] in battles they dedicated for the repair of the temple of Yahweh.
28 Ug ang tanan nga gipahanungod ni Samuel nga manalagna, ug ni Saul anak nga lalake ni Cis, ug ni Abner ang anak nga lalake ni Ner, ug ni Joab anak nga lalake ni Sarvia, bisan kinsa nga nakapahanungod sa bisan unsa, kana diha sa ilalum sa kamot ni Selomith, ug sa iyang mga kaigsoonan.
And Shelomith and his relatives were also in charge of everything that had been dedicated [to Yahweh] by the prophet Samuel, by King Saul, and by [David’s two army commanders] Ner and Joab.
29 Sa mga Isharhanon, si Chenania ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalake sila alang sa mga bulohaton sa Israel, sa mga butang sa gawas, mga punoan ug mga maghuhukom.
From the descendants of Izhar, Kenaniah and his sons were given work outside [the temple area]. They were officials and judges in [various places] in Israel.
30 Sa mga Hebronhon, si Hasabias ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan, mga maisug nga tawo, usa ka libo ug pito ka gatus, mga magbalantay sa Israel unahan sa Jordan dapit sa kasadpan, alang sa tanang bulohaton ni Jehova, ug alang sa pag-alagad sa hari.
From the descendants of Hebron, Hashabiah and his relatives were responsible for the work done for Yahweh and for the king in all the area west of the Jordan [river]. There were 1,700 of them who were able to do their work well.
31 Sa mga Hebronhon, mao si Jerias ang pangulo bisan sa mga Hebronhon, sumala sa ilang kaliwatan pinaagi sa mga balay sa amahan. Sa ikakap-atan ka tuig sa paghari ni David sila gipapangita, ug may nakaplagan diha kanila mga gamhanang tawo sa kaisug sa Jazer sa Galaad.
It was written in the records of the descendants of Hebron that Jeriah was their leader. When David had been ruling for almost 40 years, they searched in those records, and they found [names of] capable men descended from Hebron who were at Jazer [city] in the Gilead [region].
32 Ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan, mga maisug nga tawo, duha ka libo ug pito ka gatus, mga pangulo sa mga balay sa mga amahan, nga gihimo ni David nga mga magbalantay sa mga Rubenhanon, ug sa mga Gadhanon, ug sa katungang-banay sa banay ni Manases, alang sa tagsatagsa ka butang mahitungod sa Dios, ug sa mga bulohaton sa hari.
Jeriah had 2,700 relatives who were able to do their work well, and who were leaders of their families. King David put them in charge of governing the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and [the eastern] half of the tribe of Manasseh, to be sure that all the people did what God and the king told them to do.
