1 Cronicas 20
1 Ug nahitabo, sa panahon sa pagkasunod nga tuig, sa panahon nga ang mga hari mogula ngadto sa gubat, nga si Joab nangulo sa kasundalohan, ug gilaglag ang yuta sa mga anak sa Ammon, ug miabut ug gilibutan ang Rabba. Apan si David mipabilin sa Jerusalem. Ug si Joab nakadaug sa Rabba ug gilumpag kini.
And when the yere was expired, in the time that Kings goe out a warfare, Ioab caryed out the strength of the armie, and destroyed the countrey of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah (but Dauid taryed at Ierusalem) and Ioab smote Rabbah and destroyed it.
2 Ug si David nagkuha, sa purong-purong sa ilang hari gikan sa iyang ulo, ug nakakaplag nga kini may timbang nga usa ka talento nga bulawan, ug may mga bililhon nga bato diha niana; ug gitaud kini sa ulo ni David: ug iyang gidala ang sinakmit sa lungsod, daghan kaayo.
Then Dauid tooke the crowne of their King from off his head, and founde it the weight of a talent of golde, with precious stones in it: and it was set on Dauids head, and he brought away the spoyle of the citie exceeding much.
3 Ug iyang gidala ang katawohan nga diha sa sulod, ug gipamutol sila sa mga gabas ug sa mga karas nga puthaw, ug sa mga wasay. Ug mao kini ang gihimo ni David sa tanang mga lungsod sa mga anak sa Ammon. Ug si David ug ang tibook katawohan namalik ngadto sa Jerusalem.
And he caryed away the people that were in it, and cut them with sawes, and with harowes of yron, and with axes: euen thus did Dauid with all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then Dauid and all the people came againe to Ierusalem.
4 Ug nahitabo sa tapus niini, nga may gubat nga gisugdan sa Geser batok sa mga Filistehanon: unya si Sibbecai ang Hussatnon nagpatay kang Sippai, sa mga anak sa higante; ug sila gipanagdaug.
And after this also there arose warre at Gezer with the Philistims: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slewe Sippai, of the children of Haraphah, and they were subdued.
5 Ug may gubat na usab batok sa mga Filistehanon; ug si Elhanan anak nga lalake ni Jair mipatay kang Lami ang igsoon nga lalake ni Goliat ang Hetehanon, ang ulongan sa kang kinsang bangkaw sama sa usa ka likisan sa maghahabol.
And there was yet another battell with the Philistims: and Elhanan the sonne of Iair slewe Lahmi, the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spearestaffe was like a weauers beame.
6 Ug may gubat na usab sa Gath, diin may usa ka tawo nga daku ug lawas, kang kinsang mga tudlo sa kamot ug sa tiil kaluhaan ug upat, unom sa tagsatagsa ka kamot, ug unom sa tagsatagsa ka tiil; ug siya usab natawo nga higante.
And yet againe there was a battel at Gath, where was a man of a great stature, and his fingers were by sixes, euen foure and twentie, and was also the sonne of Haraphah.
7 Ug sa gihagit niya ang Israel, si Jonathan ang anak nga lalake ni Sima nga igsoon nga lalake ni David mipatay kaniya.
And when he reuiled Israel, Iehonathan the sonne of Shimea Dauids brother did slay him.
8 Kini nangatawo nga higante sa Gath; ug sila nangapukan pinaagi sa kamot ni David, ug pinaagi sa kamot sa iyang mga alagad.
These were borne vnto Haraphah at Gath, and fell by the hand of Dauid: and by the hands of his seruants.
