1 Cronicas 15

1 Ug si David naghimo alang kaniya ug mga balay sa ciudad ni David: ug siya nag-andam ug usa ka dapit alang sa arca sa Dios, ug naghimo alang niini ug usa ka balong-balong.

Also, he made houses for himself in the City of David. And built a place for the ark of God, and he set up a tent for it.

2 Unya si David miingon: Walay bisan kinsa nga magdala sa arca sa Dios gawas sa mga Levihanon: kay kanila ang Dios nagpili aron sa pagdala sa arca sa Dios, ug sa pag-alagad kaniya sa walay katapusan.

Then David said: “It is illicit for anyone to carry the ark of God except the Levites, whom the Lord chose to carry it and to minister to himself, even unto eternity.”

3 Ug gitigum ni David ang tibook Israel didto sa Jerusalem, aron sa pagdala sa arca ni Jehova ngadto sa dapit niini, nga iyang giandam alang niini.

And he gathered all of Israel in Jerusalem, so that the ark of God might be brought into its place, which he had prepared for it.

4 Ug gitigum ni David sa tingub ang mga anak nga lalake ni Aaron, ug ang mga Levihanon:

Certainly, there were both the sons of Aaron and the Levites:

5 Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Coath si Uriel ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan nga usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan:

From the sons of Kohath, Uriel was the leader, and his brothers were one hundred twenty.

6 Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari, si Asaia ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan duha ka gatus ug kaluhaan;

From the sons of Merari: Asaiah was the leader, and his brothers were two hundred twenty.

7 Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Gerson, si Joel ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan usa ka gatus ug katloan,

From the sons of Gershom: Joel was the leader, and his brothers were one hundred thirty.

8 Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Elisaphan, si Semaias ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan duha ka gatus;

From the sons of Elizaphan: Shemaiah was the leader, and his brothers were two hundred.

9 Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Hebron si Eliel ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan kawaloan;

From the sons of Hebron: Eliel was the leader, and his brothers were eighty.

10 Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Uzziel, si Aminadab ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan usa ka gatus napulo ug duha.

From the sons of Uzziel: Amminadab was the leader, and his brothers were one hundred twelve.

11 Ug gitawag ni David si Sadoc, ug si Abiathar, ang mga sacerdote, ug sa mga Levihanon, si Uriel, si Asaias, ug si Joel, si Semeias, ug si Eliel, ug si Aminadab,

And David summoned the priests, Zadok and Abiathar, and the Levites: Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.

12 Ug miingon kanila: Kamo mao ang mga pangulo sa mga balay sa mga amahan sa mga Levihanon: magpabalaan kamo sa inyong kaugalingon kamo ug ang inyong mga kaigsoonan, aron madala ninyo ang arca ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, ngadto sa dapit nga akong giandam alang niini.

And he said to them: “You who are the leaders of the Levitical families, be sanctified with your brothers, and bring the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place that has been prepared for it.

13 Tungod kay kini wala ninyo dad-a sa sinungdan, si Jehova nga atong Dios nayugot kanato, tungod kay siya wala nato pangitaa sumala sa tulomanon.

Otherwise, as it was before, when the Lord struck us because you were not present, so also it might be now, if we do what is illicit.”

14 Busa ang mga sacerdote ug ang mga Levihanon nanagpabalaan sa ilang kaugalingon aron sa pagdala sa arca ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel.

Therefore, the priests and the Levites were sanctified, so that they might carry the ark of the Lord God of Israel.

15 Ug ang arca sa Dios giyayongan sa mga anak sa mga Levihanon pinaagi sa mga yayongan sa ibabaw niini ingon sa gisugo ni Moises sumala sa pulong ni Jehova.

And the sons of Levi took the ark of God, just as Moses had instructed, in accord with the word of the Lord, upon their shoulders by the bars.

16 Ug si David misulti sa pangulo sa mga Levihanon sa pagtudlo sa ilang mga kaigsoonan nga mga mag-aawit, uban sa mga tulonggon, mga tulonggon nga kinuldasan ug mga alpa ug mga piyangpiyang, nga nanaglanog sa makusog ug gipatugbaw ang tingog sa kalipay.

And David spoke to the leaders of the Levites, so that they might appoint, from their brothers, singers with musical instruments, specifically, psalteries, and harps, and cymbals, so that a joyful noise might resound on high.

17 Busa ang mga Levihanon nagtudlo kang Heman ang anak nga lalake ni Joel; ug sa iyang mga kaigsoonan, si Asaph ang anak nga lalake ni Berechuias; ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari nga ilang mga kaigsoonan, si Ethan ang anak nga lalake ni Cusaias;

And they appointed from the Levites: Heman, the son of Joel; and from his brothers, Asaph, the son of Berechiah; and truly, from their brothers, the sons of Merari: Ethan, the son of Kushaiah.

18 Ug uban kanila ang ilang mga kaigsoonan nga igtagurha, si Zacarias, si Ben, ug si Jaazael, ug si Simiramoth, ug si Jehiel, ug si Uni, ug si Eliab, ug si Benaias, ug si Maasias, ug si Mathithias, ug si Eliphelehu, ug si Micnias, ug si Obed-edom, ug si Jehiel, ang mga magbalantay sa pultahan.

And with them were their brothers in the second rank: Zechariah, and Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jahiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, who were gatekeepers.

19 Busa ang mga mag-aawit, si Heman, si Asaph, ug si Ethan, maoy natudlo, nga nanagdala sa mga piyangpiyang nga tumbaga aron sa pagpatunog nga kusog;

Now the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were sounding out with cymbals of brass.

20 Ug si Zacharias, ug si Asiel, ug si Semiramoth, ug si Jehiel, ug si Uni, ug si Eliab, ug si Maasias, ug si Benaias, lakip ang mga tulonggon nga kinuldasan nga nahitungod kang Alamot;

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah were singing mysteries with the psalteries.

21 Ug si Mathithias, ug si Eliphelehu, ug si Micnias, ug si Obed-edom, ug si Jeiel, ug si Azazias, lakip ang mga alpa nga dinuyogan sa Seminith, sa pagmando sa awit.

Then Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah and Obededom, and Jeiel and Azaziah were singing a song of victory with the harps, for the octave.

22 Ug si Chenanias pangulo sa mga Levihanon, nangulo sa pag-awit: siya nanudlo mahitungod sa awit, tungod kay siya batid.

Now Chenaniah, the leader of the Levites, was foremost over the prophecies, in order to mark out in advance the melodies. For indeed, he was very skillful.

23 Ug si Berechuias ug si Elcana maoy mga magbalantay sa pultahan sa arca.

And Berechiah and Elkanah were porters of the ark.

24 Ug si Sebanias, ug si Josaphat, ug si Nathanael, ug si Amasias, ug si Zacharias, ug si Benaias, ug si Eliezer, mga sacerdote, nanagpatunog sa mga trompeta sa atubangan sa arca sa Dios; ug si Obed-edom ug si Jehias maoy mga magbalantay sa mga pultahan sa arca.

And the priests, Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, were sounding the trumpets before the ark of God. And Obededom and Jehiah were porters of the ark.

25 Busa si David, ug ang mga anciano sa Israel, ug ang mga capitan sa mga linibo, ming-adto sa pagdala sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova, gikan sa balay ni Obed-edom uban sa kalipay.

Therefore, David, and all those greater by birth of Israel, and the tribunes, went to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obededom with rejoicing.

26 Ug nahitabo, sa diha nga ang Dios nagtabang sa mga Levihanon nga nanagdala sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova, nga sila nanaghalad ug pito ka vaca ug pito ka carnero.

And when God had assisted the Levites, who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, they immolated seven bulls and seven rams.

27 Ug si David gisul-uban sa usa ka bisti nga lino nga fino ug ang tanan nga mga Levihanon nga nanagdala sa arca, ug ang mga mag-aawit, ug si Chenanaias ang pangulo sa awit uban sa mga mag-aawit: ug si David nagsul-ob sa usa ka ephod nga lino.

Now David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah, the leader of the prophecy among the singers. But David was also clothed with a linen ephod.

28 Sa ingon niana gidala sa tibook Israel ang arca sa tugon ni Jehova inubanan sa pagsinggit, ug sa tingog sa corneta, ug sa mga trompeta, ug sa mga piyangpiyang, makusog ang lanog lakip ang mga tulonggon nga kinuldasan ug mga alpa.

And all of Israel were leading back the ark of the covenant of the Lord with jubilation, sounding out with the noise of horns, and trumpets, and cymbals, and psalteries, and harps.

29 Ug nahitabo, sa nahiabut ang arca sa tugon ni Jehova sa ciudad ni David, nga si Michal ang anak nga babaye ni Saul milantaw sa tamboanon, ug nakakita kang hari David nga nagsayaw ug nagakalipay; ug siya nagyubit kaniya sa sulod sa iyang kasingkasing.

And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord had arrived in the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, gazing through a window, saw king David dancing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.
