1 Unya nakita ko sa tuo nga kamot niadtong usa nga naglingkod sa trono, ang linukot nga basahon nga gisulatan sa atubangan ug sa likod nga bahin, ug gisilyohan kini sa pito ka silyo.
I saw the one sitting on the throne holding a scroll in his right hand. The scroll was written on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.
2 Nakita ko usab ang usa ka gamhanan nga anghel nga nagmantala uban sa kusog nga tingog, “Kinsa man ang takos nga moabli sa linukot nga basahon ug sa pagtangtang sa mga silyo niini?”
I saw a powerful angel shouting in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”
3 Walay bisan usa sa langit o sa yuta o sa ilalom sa yuta nga makahimo sa pag-abli sa linukot nga basahon o sa pagbasa niini.
Nobody in heaven, or on earth, or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it.
4 Mihilak ako tungod kay walay bisan usa nga nakaplagan nga takos sa pag-abli sa linukot nga basahon o sa pagbasa niini.
I cried many tears because nobody could be found who was worthy to open the book and read it.
5 Apan usa sa mga kadagkoan miingon kanako, “Ayaw paghilak. Tan-awa! Ang Liyon sa banay ni Juda, ang Gamot ni David, nagmadaogon, busa makahimo na siya sa pag-abli sa linukot nga basahon ug sa pito ka silyo niini.”
One of the elders spoke to me and said, “Don't cry. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the descendant of David, has won the battle and can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Taliwala sa trono ug sa upat ka buhing binuhat ug taliwala sa mga kadagkoan, nakita ko ang Nating Karnero nga nagbarog, nga daw siya miagi sa kamatayon. Aduna siyay pito ka sungay ug pito ka mata - mao kini ang pito ka Espiritu sa Dios nga gipadala sa tibuok kalibotan.
I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been killed standing in the center by the throne and the four living creatures, among the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes that are the seven Spirits of God that are sent out to all the earth.
7 Miduol siya ug gikuha ang linukot nga basahon gikan sa tuong kamot niadtong usa nga naglingkod sa trono.
He went and took the scroll from the right hand of the one that sat on the throne.
8 Sa dihang gikuha niya ang linukot nga basahon, ang upat ka buhing binuhat ug ang 24 ka kadagkoan mihapa sa ilang kaugalingon sa yuta atubangan sa Nating Karnero. Ang matag-usa kanila adunay mga alpa ug bulawan nga panaksan nga puno sa insenso, nga mao ang mga pag-ampo sa mga balaan.
When he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the believers.
9 Nanag-awit sila ug bag-ong awit: “Takos ikaw nga mokuha sa linukot nga basahon ug sa pag-abli sa mga silyo niini. Kay ikaw mao man ang gipatay, ug uban sa imong dugo gibayran mo ang katawhan alang sa Dios gikan sa matag banay, pinulongan, mga tawo ug kanasoran.
They sang a new song, “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slain and with your blood you redeemed for God people from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
10 Gihimo mo sila nga usa ka gingharian ug mga pari aron moalagad sa atong Dios, ug magamando sila sa kalibotan.”
You made them into a kingdom and priests for our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
11 Unya mitan-aw ako ug nadungog ko ang tingog sa daghang mga anghel palibot sa trono - ang gidaghanon nila 200, 000, 000 - ug ang mga buhing binuhat ug mga kadagkoan.
As I looked I heard the voices of millions of angels around the throne, together with the living creatures and the elders,
12 Miingon sila sa makusog nga tingog, “Takos ang Nating Karnero nga gipatay aron sa pagdawat sa gahom, bahandi, kaalam, kusog, kadungganan, himaya, ug pagdayeg.”
shouting loudly together: “The Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive authority, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing.”
13 Nadungog ko ang matag binuhat nga didto sa langit ug sa yuta, ilalom sa yuta, sa dagat, ug ang tanang binuhat nga anaa niini, nga nag-ingon, “Kaniya nga milingkod sa trono ug sa Nating Karnero, ang pagdayeg, kadungganan, himaya, ug ang gahom sa pagmando, hangtod sa kahangtoran.” (aiōn g165)
Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, in the sea—every creature everywhere—replying: “To the one who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be blessing, honor, glory, and authority, for ever and ever.” (aiōn g165)
14 Ang upat ka mga buhing binuhat miingon, “Amen!” ug ang mga kadagkoan mihapa sa ilang kaugalingon sa yuta ug nagsimba.
The four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
