Mga Salmo 94
1 Si Yahweh, ang Dios nga nagapanimalos, ang Dios nga nagapanimalos, dan-agi kami.
O God, of vengeance, Lord! O God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 Barog, maghuhukom sa kalibotan, ihatag ngadto sa mga garboso ang angay kanila.
Lift up thyself, O judge of the Earth! bring a recompense upon the proud.
3 Hangtod kanus-a man ang mga daotan, O Yahweh, hangtod kanus-a man maglipay ang mga daotan?
How long shall the wicked, O Lord—how long shall the wicked exult?
4 Ilang gibubo ang ilang magarbohon nga mga pulong; nanghambog ang tanan nga nagbuhat ug daotan.
They sputter, they speak hard things: all the workers of wickedness boast themselves.
5 Gidugmok nila ang imong katawhan, Yahweh; gisakit nila ang nasod nga nahisakop kanimo.
Thy people, O Lord! they crush, and thy heritage they afflict.
6 Ilang gipatay ang biyuda ug ang langyaw nga nagpuyo sa ilang nasod, ug ilang gipamatay ang mga ilo.
The widow and the stranger they slay, and the fatherless they murder.
7 Miingon (sila) “Dili makakita si Yahweh, ang Dios ni Jacob dili makamatikod niini.”
And they say, The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not take notice of it.
8 Sabta, kamong mga buangbuang nga katawhan! Kamong mga buangbuang, kanus-a man kamo makakat-on?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye become intelligent!
9 Siya nga nagbuhat sa dalunggan, dili ba siya makadungog? Siya nga naghulma sa mata, dili ba siya makakita?
He that hath planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that hath formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Siya nga nagpanton sa kanasoran, dili ba siya mobadlong? Siya ang naghatag og kahibalo sa tawo.
He that admonisheth nations, shall he not correct? is it not he that teacheth man knowledge!
11 Nasayod si Yahweh sa hunahuna sa mga tawo, nga mga aso lamang kini.
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are nought.
12 Bulahan siya nga imong gitudloan, Yahweh, siya nga imong gitudloan gikan sa imong balaod.
Happy is the man whom thou admonisheth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law:
13 Gihatagan mo siya ug kapahulayan sa mga panahon sa kalisdanan hangtod nga makalot na ang bangag alang sa mga daotan.
That thou mayest grant him repose from the days of evil, until the pot be dug for the wicked.
14 Kay dili isalikway ni Yahweh ang iyang katawhan o biyaan ang iyang panulondon.
For the Lord will not cast off his people, and his inheritance will he not forsake.
15 Kay ang paghukom mahimong matarong pag-usab; ug ang tanan nga mga matarong ang kasingkasing mosunod niini.
For unto righteousness will justice return; and it shall be followed by all the upright in heart.
16 Si kinsa man ang mobarog sa pagpanalipod kanako batok sa mga nagabuhat ug daotan? Si kinsa man ang motindog alang kanako batok sa mga daotan?
Who will rise up for me against evil-doers? or who will stand forward for me against the workers of wickedness?
17 Gawas kung wala ang tabang ni Yahweh, dugay ra unta ako naghigda sa dapit nga mamingaw.
Unless the Lord had been a help unto me, but a little would have been wanting that my soul had dwelt in the silence of death.
18 Sa dihang misulti ako, “Nadalin-as ako,” ang imong matinud-anong kasabotan, Yahweh, nagpabarog kanako.
When I said, My foot hath slipped: thy kindness, O Lord, sustained me.
19 Sa dihang daghan ang kahangawa sulod kanako, ang imong paghupay maoy naglipay kanako.
In the multitude of my [painful] thoughts within me, thy consolations delight my soul.
20 Makahimo ba ang trono sa kadaotan sa pagpakig-uban kanimo, siya nga nagbuhat ug dili makiangayon pinaagi sa balaod?
Can there be associated with thee the throne of destructive wickedness, which frameth mischief as a law?
21 Nagsabot (sila) sa pagkuha sa kinabuhi sa matarong ug gihukman nila ug kamatayon ang dili sad-an.
They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and innocent blood do they condemn.
22 Apan si Yahweh ang akong taas nga tore, ug ang akong Ginoo maoy bato nga akong dalangpanan.
But the Lord is become my defence, and my God, the rock of my refuge.
23 Dad-on niya kanila ang ilang mga sala ug wagtangon (sila) sa ilang pagkadaotan. Wagtangon (sila) ni Yahweh nga among Dios.
And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them: [yea], he will destroy them—the Lord our God.
