Mga Salmo 80

1 Alang sa pangulong musikero, sumala sa Shoshanim Edut nga istilo. Ang salmo ni Asaf. Paminaw, Magbalantay sa Israel, ikaw nga naggiya kang Jose sama sa panon sa karnero; ikaw nga naglingkod ibabaw sa kerubin, dan-ag kanamo!

To the Chief Musician. For "the Lilies of Testimony." Asaph’s. A Melody. O Shepherd of Israel, give ear, Thou who leddest forth Joseph like a rock, Thou who art throned on the cherubim, appear!

2 Sa atubangan ni Efraim ug Benjamin ug Manases, palihoka ang imong gahom; anhi ug luwasa kami.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy strength, And come! to our salvation.

3 O Dios, ipahiuli kami; padan-aga ang imong nawong nganhi kanamo, ug maluwas kami.

O God, bring us back, And light up thy face, That we may be saved.

4 Yahweh Dios nga makagagahom, hangtod kanus-a ka masuko sa imong mga katawhan sa dihang mag-ampo (sila)

O Yahweh, God of hosts! How long hast thou been wroth with the prayer of thy people?

5 Gipakaon mo (sila) ug tinapay sa mga luha ug gihatagan mo (sila) ug daghang luha aron imnon.

Thou hast fed them with the food of tears, And hast caused them to drink the water of weeping in threefold abundance.

6 Nagbuhat ka kanamo ug butang nga gilalisan sa among mga silingan, ug gikataw-an kami sa among mga kaaway.

Thou dost make us an object of contention to our neighbours, And, our foes, find mockery for themselves.

7 Dios nga makagagahom, ipahiuli kami; ipadan-ag ang imong nawong nganhi kanamo, ug maluwas kami.

O God of hosts, bring us back, And light up thy face, That we may be saved.

8 Nagdala ka ug paras gikan sa Ehipto; giabog mo ang kanasoran ug gibalhin mo kini sa pagtanom.

A vine out of Egypt, thou didst remove, Thou didst cast out nations, and plant it;

9 Gihinloan nimo ang yuta alang niini; ug nakagamot kini ug nipuno sa yuta.

Thou didst make a clear space before it, So it rooted well its roots, and filled up the land;

10 Ang mga kabukiran natabonan sa landong niini, ang mga cedar sa Dios sa mga sanga niini.

Covered were the mountains with its shade, And, with its boughs, the mighty cedars.

11 Miabot ang mga sanga niini hangtod sa dagat ug ang linghod nga sanga ngadto sa Suba sa Eufrates.

It thrust forth its branches as far as the sea, —And, unto the River, its shoots.

12 Nganong giguba man nimo ang paril niini ug ang tanan nga moagi mopupo sa bunga niini.

Wherefore hast thou broken down its fences, So that all who pass along the way, pluck its fruit?

13 Gipangguba kini sa ihalas nga mga baboy nga gikan sa kalasangan, ug gipangaon kini sa mapintas nga mga mananap sa kaumahan.

The boar out of the forest, browseth upon it, And, the wild beast of the field, pastureth thereon.

14 Lingia kami, O Dios nga makagagahom; dungaw gikan sa langit ug tagda ug atimana kining paras.

O God of hosts, return, we pray thee, —Look down out of the heavens, and see, And inspect this vine:

15 Mao kini ang gamot nga gitanom sa imong tuo nga kamot, ang linghod nga sanga nga imong gipatubo.

Yea the stock which thy right hand planted, Even upon the son thou didst secure for thyself.

16 Nangasunog kini ug gipamutol; nangahanaw (sila) tungod sa imong pagbadlong.

To be burned with fire, it is cut down, —At the rebuke of thy countenance, they will perish.

17 Ang imong kamot maanaa unta sa tawo nga anaa diha sa imong tuong kamot, sa anak sa tawo nga imong gilig-on alang sa imong kaugalingon.

Let thy hand be, Upon the Man of thy right hand, Upon the Son of Man thou didst secure for thyself;

18 Unya dili kami mobiya gikan kanimo; dasiga kami, ug mosangpit kami sa imong ngalan.

So will we not draw back from thee, Thou wilt bring us to life, And, on thy Name, will we call.

19 Yahweh, Dios nga makagagahom, ipahiuli kami; ipadan-ag kanamo ang imong nawong, ug mamaluwas kami.

O Yahweh, God of hosts! bring us back, Light up thy face, That we may be saved.
