Mga Salmo 74
1 Usa ka maskil ni Asaf. O Dios, nganong gisalikway mo kami sa kahangtoran? Ngano nga ang imong kasuko misunog batok sa karnero diha sa imong sibsibanan?
Maschil of Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast [us] off for ever? [why] doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
2 Hinumdomi ang imong katawhan, nga imong gipalit niadtong karaang kapanahonan, ang banay nga imong gitubos nga mahimo nga imong kaugalingong panulundon, ug ang Bukid sa Zion, diin ikaw mipuyo.
Remember thy congregation, [which] thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, [which] thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
3 Ngari tan-awa ang hingpit nga pagkagun-ob, ang tanang kadaot nga gibuhat sa mga kaaway sa balaang dapit.
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; [even] all [that] the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
4 Ang imong mga kaaway nagngulob taliwala sa imong piniling dapit; gipahimutang nila ang ilang mga bandira.
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns [for] signs.
5 Nanigbas (sila) gamit ang mga hatsa sama diha sa baga nga kalasangan.
[A man] was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
6 Gidugmok nila ug gipangguba ang tanang kinulitan; giguba nila kini pinaagi sa mga hatsa ug mga maso.
But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
7 Gisunog nila ang imong puluy-anan; gipanamastamasan nila ang imong pinuy-anan; gipukan kini ngadto sa yuta.
They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled [by casting down] the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
8 Miingon (sila) sa ilang mga kasingkasing, “Laglagon nato silang tanan.” Gisunog nila ang tanan nimong tigomanan sa yuta.
They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
9 Wala na kitay makita nga mga timaan, wala nay mga propeta, ug walay usa kanato ang nasayod kung hangtod kanus-a kini molungtad.
We see not our signs: [there is] no more any prophet: neither [is there] among us any that knoweth how long.
10 Hangtod kanus-a, O Ginoo, nga magtamay ang kaaway kanimo? Ang kaaway magpasipala ba sa imong ngalan sa kahangtoran?
O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
11 Nganong imo mang gipugngan ang imong kamot, ang imong tuong kamot? Ipagawas ang imong tuong kamot sa imong bisti ug laglaga (sila)
Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck [it] out of thy bosom.
12 Bisan pa niini ang Dios maoy akong hari gikan pa sa karaang kapanahonan, nga nagadala sa kaluwasan sa kalibotan.
For God [is] my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 Gibahin mo ang dagat pinaagi sa imong kusog; gidugmok mo ang mga ulo sa makalilisang nga mga mananap diha sa katubigan.
Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
14 Gidugmok mo ang mga ulo sa Leviatan; gipakaon mo siya sa mga nagpuyo sa kamingawan.
Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, [and] gavest him [to be] meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15 Giablihan mo ang mga tuboran ug kasapaan; gipahubas mo ang mga kasubaan.
Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
16 Imo ang adlaw, ug ang kagabhion imo man usab; gipahimutang mo ang adlaw ug bulan sa ilang dapit.
The day [is] thine, the night also [is] thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
17 Gipahimutang mo ang tanang utlanan sa kalibotan; ug ikaw ang naghimo sa ting-init ug sa tingtugnaw.
Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
18 Hinumdomi kung giunsa sa kaaway paglabay ug mga pagtamay kanimo, O Yahweh, ug ang pagpasipala sa mga buangbuang nga mga tawo sa imong ngalan.
Remember this, [that] the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and [that] the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
19 Ayaw itugyan ang kinabuhi sa imong salampati ngadto sa ihalas nga mananap. Ayaw kalimti hangtod sa kahangtoran ang kinabuhi sa dinaugdaog nimong katawhan.
O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude [of the wicked: ] forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
20 Hinumdomi ang imong kasabotan, kay ang mangitngit nga mga rehiyon sa yuta napuno sa mga dapit sa kabangis.
Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21 Ayaw itugot nga ang dinaugdaog mahibalik uban sa kaulaw; itugot nga ang kabos ug ang dinaugdaog modayeg sa imong ngalan.
O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
22 Bangon, O Dios; panalipdi ang imong kadungganan; hinumdomi kung giunsa ka pagtamay sa mga buangbuang sa tibuok adlaw.
Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
23 Ayaw kalimti ang tingog sa imong mga kaaway o ang kabanha niadtong padayon nga nagsupak kanimo.
Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
