Mga Salmo 68
1 Alang sa pangulong musikero; Ang salmo ni David, usa ka awit. Hinaot motindog ang Dios; magkatibulaag unta ang iyang mga kaaway; ug kadtong nasilag usab kaniya mokalagiw unta sa iyang atubangan.
“To the chief musician, by David, a Psalm or song.” Oh that God would arise, that his enemies might be scattered, and those that hate him might flee before him.
2 Sama sa aso nga ipadpad; busa pahawaa (sila) sama sa kandila nga matunaw sa kalayo, aron nga ang daotan mahanaw sa presensiya sa Dios.
As smoke is driven off, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Apan magmaya ang matarong; magsadya (sila) diha sa Dios; hinaot nga magmaya (sila) ug magmalipayon.
But the righteous shall rejoice; they shall exult before God: yea, they shall be exceedingly joyful.
4 Awiti ang Dios! Awiti ug pagdayeg ang iyang ngalan! Dayega siya nga nagsakay latas sa walog sa Suba sa Jordan! Yahweh ang iyang ngalan! Pagmaya kaniya!
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rideth upon the heavens: the Everlasting is his name, and rejoice before him.
5 Ang amahan sa mga walay amahan, tigpanalipod sa mga biyuda, ang Dios anaa sa balaang dapit diin siya nagpuyo.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 Gibutang sa Dios ang mga nag-inusara ngadto sa matag pamilya; gipagawas niya ang mga binilanggo uban ang panag-awit; apan ang mga masupilon gipapuyo sa ugang yuta.
God places those who are solitary in the midst of their families: he bringeth out those who are bound unto happiness; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 O Dios, sa dihang nag-una ka sa imong katawhan, sa pagmartsa nimo latas sa kamingawan, (Selah)
O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst tread along through the wilderness—Selah—
8 Nangurog ang kalibotan; ug nag-ulan ang kalangitan sa presensiya sa Dios, diha sa presensiya sa Dios sa iyang pag-abot sa Sinai, diha sa presensiya sa Dios, ang Dios sa Israel.
The earth quaked, also the heavens dropped at the presence of God, yea, this Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Ikaw, Dios nagpadala ug dakong ulan; imong gilig-on ang imong panulundon sa dihang naluya kini.
Rain of beneficence didst thou pour down, O God, whereby thou didst truly strengthen thy heritage, when it was weary.
10 Mipuyo ang imong katawhan niini; ikaw, O Dios mihatag sa imong kamaayo ngadto sa mga kabos.
Thy assembly dwelt therein: thou didst prepare it with thy goodness for the afflicted [people]. O God,
11 Naghatag ang Ginoo ug kasugoan, ug kadtong nagpahibalo niini mao ang daghang kasundalohan.
The Lord gave [happy] tidings; they are published by the female messengers, a numerous host.
12 Ang mga hari sa kasundalohan mikalagiw, nanagan (sila) ug ang mga babaye nga nagpaabot sa panimalay nagbahinbahin sa mga kinuha:
The kings of the armies flee away—flee away: yet she that tarried at home divideth the spoil.
13 mga salampati nga plata ug ang mga pako sa naggilakgilak nga bulawan. Sa dihang ang pipila kaninyo nagpabilin sa kulongan sa karnero, nganong gibuhat ninyo kini?
When ye lie still between the folds [of your cattle], [ye will be like] the wings of the dove covered with sliver, and her pinions shining with flaming gold.
14 Gipatibulaag sa Labing Gamhanan ang mga hari didto, atol kini nga nag-ulan ug nyebe sa Bukid sa Zalmon.
When the Almighty scattered kings in the midst of her, then even in darkness shone light [as pure] as snow.
15 Ang kusgan nga bukid mao ang bungtod sa Basan; ang usa ka habog nga bukid mao ang bungtod sa Basan.
A mountain of God is the mount of Bashan; many peaks hath the mount of Bashan.
16 Nganong nasina ka man, ikaw habog nga bukid, sa bukid nga gipili sa Dios nga iyang puy-an? Sa pagkatinuod, si Yahweh magpuyo niini hangtod sa kahangtoran.
Why watch ye enviously, ye many-peaked mountains, yonder mountain which God hath chosen for his residence? yea, the Lord will also dwell [there] for ever.
17 Ang mga karwahe sa Dios 20, 000, nilibo ka liboan; uban ang Ginoo kanila didto sa balaang dapit sa Sinai.
The chariots of God are two myriads; thousands of angels [follow him]: the Lord is among them: so is Sinai holy [among mountains].
18 Misaka siya sa kinatumyan; nga dala ang mga binihag; nagdawat ka sa mga gasa gikan sa katawhan, bisan pa niadtong nakig-away kanimo, aron ikaw Yahweh nga Dios mopuyo didto.
Thou didst ascend on high, lead away captives, receive gifts among men, yea, even the rebellious, to dwell among them. O Lord God.
19 Bulahan ang Ginoo, nga sa matag adlaw nagdala sa atong mga palas-anon, ang Dios nga mao ang atong kaluwasan. (Selah)
Blessed be the Lord; day by day he loadeth us [with benefits]; our God is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Ang atong Dios mao ang Dios nga moluwas; si Yahweh ang Ginoo nga maoy makaluwas kanato gikan sa kamatayon.
Our God is to us the God of salvation: and by the Eternal the Lord are the escapes from death.
21 Apan dugmukon sa Dios ang mga ulo sa iyang mga kaaway, ang buhokon nga mga ulo niadtong naglakaw sa pagpakasala batok kaniya.
But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hairy skull of him who walketh in his guiltiness.
22 Miingon ang Ginoo, “Dad-on ko ang akong mga kaaway balik sa Basan, ako silang ipabalik ngadto sa kinahiladman sa dagat
The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
23 aron inyong dugmukon ang inyong mga kaaway, ug mabasa ang inyong tiil sa dugo, ug aron ang mga dila sa inyong mga iro adunay bahin sa inyong mga kaaway.”
In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.
24 Nakita nila ang imong pagpasundayag, Dios, ang pasundayag sa akong Dios, akong Hari, didto sa balaang dapit.
Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
25 Nag-una ang mga mag-aawit, ang misunod mao ang mga musikero, ug sa tungatunga ang mga dalaga nga nagtugtog sa mga tamborin.
First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.
26 Bulahan ang Dios sa panagtigom; dayega si Yahweh, kamong mga tinuod nga kaliwat sa Israel.
In assemblies bless ye God, [praise] the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.
27 Nag-una ang Benjamin nga labing gamay nga banay, unya ang pangulo sa Juda ug ilang panon, ug ang mga pangulo sa Zebulun ug ang mga pangulo sa Neftali.
There Benjamin the youngest leadeth them on, the princes of Judah in purple robes, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 Ang inyong Dios, O Israel nagsugo sa inyong kusog; ipadayag kanamo ang imong gahom, Dios, sama sa imong pagpadayag niini kaniadto.
Thy God hath ordained the rule to thee: strengthen, O God, what thou hast wrought for us.
29 Ipadayag ang imong gahom kanamo gikan sa imong templo sa Jerusalem, diin ang mga hari magdala sa mga gasa nganha kanimo.
Because of thy temple over Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30 Singgit diha sa gubat batok sa ihalas nga mananap diha sa kasagbotan, batok sa katawhan, kanang panon sa mga torong baka ug mga nati. Pakaulawi (sila) ug himoa nga (sila) magdala ug mga gasa; patibulaaga ang mga tawo nga nagtinguha sa pakiggubat.
Rebuke the wild beasts hiding among the reeds, the troops of steers among the calves of nations, that hasten along with presents of silver. He scattereth nations that are eager for the fight.
31 Mogawas ang mga prinsipe gikan sa Ehipto; ibayaw dayon sa Etiopia ang iyang mga kamot ngadto sa Dios.
Nobles will come out of Egypt: Ethiopia will stretch forth eagerly her hands unto God.
32 Awiti ang Dios, kamong mga gingharian sa kalibotan; (Selah) Awiti ug pagdayeg si Yahweh.
Kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing praises unto the Lord: (Selah)
33 Kaniya nga nagsakay diha sa kalangitan nga anaa na sukad pa kaniadto; tan-awa nagsinggit siya uban ang gahom.
To him who rideth over the highest heavens, of ancient days: hear! he sendeth forth his voice, the voice of might.
34 Ang kusog iya gayod sa Dios; ang iyang pagkahalangdon anaa sa tibuok Israel, ug ang iyang kusog anaa sa kalangitan.
Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
35 O Dios, gikahadlokan ka diha sa imong balaang dapit; ang Dios sa Israel—naghatag siyag kusog ug gahom sa iyang katawhan. Dalayegon ang Dios.
Thou art tremendous, O God, from thy holy residences: O God of Israel, [thou art] he that givest strength and power unto [thy] people. Blessed be God.
