Mga Salmo 64
1 Alang sa pangulong musikero. Ang salmo ni David. Pamatia ang akong tingog, O Dios, paminawa ang akong mga mulo; tipigi ang akong kinabuhi gikan sa kahadlok sa akong mga kaaway.
God, listen to me as I tell you the things that I am worried about. I am afraid of my enemies; so save/rescue me from them.
2 Tagoi ako gikan sa tinagong laraw sa mga daotan, ug gikan sa kasamok sa nagabuhat ug kasal-anan.
Protect me from what wicked men are planning to do to me; protect me from that gang of men who do what is evil.
3 Gibaid nila ang ilang mga dila sama sa mga espada; gition nila ang ilang mga pana, ang sakit nga mga pulong,
The hostile things they say [MTY] are like [SIM] [sharp] swords; their cruel words are like [SIM] arrows.
4 aron ipana ngadto sa mga walay sala diha sa tagong dapit; unya sa kalit ilang panaon siya sa walay kahadlok.
Without being afraid, they [lie about people and slander people] who have not done what is wrong, like someone who suddenly jumps up from where he is hiding and shoots [arrows] at his enemy [MET].
5 Gidasig nila ang ilang kaugalingon sa pagplano ug daotan; nagsabot (sila) sa tago aron sa pagbuhat ug lit-ag; unya miingon (sila) “Kinsa ang makakita kanato?”
They encourage each other about doing the evil things that they are planning to do; they talk [with each other] about where they can set traps to catch people, and they think, “No one [RHQ] will see what we are doing,
6 Nagplano (sila) ug daotan; “Nahuman na kita,” unya miingon (sila) “Maayo ang pagkaplano.” Dili matukib ang hunahuna ug kasingkasing sa tawo.
because we have planned very well the crime that we are going to commit!” No one can fully understand what people can think and plan!
7 Apan panaon (sila) sa Dios; ug sa kalit lang masamdan (sila) sa iyang mga pana.
But [it will be as though] God will shoot his arrows at them, and suddenly they will be wounded.
8 Mapandol (sila) sanglit ang ilang mga dila mounay kanila; ang tanan nga makakita kanila maglingolingo.
Because of what they say [MTY], he will get rid of them, and then everyone who sees [what has happened to] them will shake their heads [to ridicule them].
9 Mangahadlok ang tanang mga tawo ug magsulti sa mga gibuhat sa Dios. Maghunahuna (sila) pag-ayo mahitungod kung unsa ang iyang nabuhat.
And then everyone will be afraid [to sin because of what might happen to them, also]; they will tell others what God has done, and they themselves will think much about it.
10 Magmaya ang mga matarong ngadto kang Yahweh ug modangop kaniya; ang tanang adunay matarong nga kasingkasing mapasigarbohon diha kaniya.
Righteous people should rejoice because of what Yahweh [has done]; they should go to him to (find protection/be safe); and all those who are godly will praise him.
