Mga Salmo 146
1 Dayega si Yahweh. Dayega si Yahweh, akong kalag.
Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
2 Dayegon ko si Yahweh sa tibuok kong kinabuhi; magaawit ako ug mga pagdayeg sa akong Dios samtang ako buhi pa.
I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
3 Ayaw ibutang ang imong pagsalig sa mga prinsipe o sa mga tawo, kay dili (sila) makaluwas.
[You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
4 Sa dihang moundang na ang gininhawa sa tawo, mobalik na siya sa yuta; nianang adlawa ang iyang mga laraw matapos.
And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
5 Bulahan siya nga adunay Dios ni Jacob nga motabang kaniya, nga ang paglaom anaa kang Yahweh nga iyang Dios.
But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
6 Gibuhat ni Yahweh ang langit ug ang yuta, ang dagat, ug ang tanan nga anaa niini; nagpabilin siya nga matinud-anon hangtod sa kahangtoran.
He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
7 Gipahamtang niya ang katarong alang sa mga dinaogdaog ug naghatag ug pagkaon sa gigutom. Gibuhian ni Yahweh ang mga binilanggo;
He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
8 gibuka ni Yahweh ang mga mata sa buta; gipatindog ni Yahweh kadtong nangasukamod; gihigugma ni Yahweh ang mga tawo nga matarong.
Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
9 Gipanalipdan ni Yahweh ang mga langyaw diha sa yuta; giagak niya ang mga walay amahan ug ang mga balo, apan gipakigbatokan niya ang daotan.
Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
10 Maghari si Yahweh hangtod sa kahangtoran, imong Dios, Zion, alang sa tanang mga kaliwatan. Dayega si Yahweh.
Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
