Mga Salmo 130

1 Awit sa pagtungas. Didto sa kinahiladman naghilak ako kanimo, Yahweh.

Yahweh, I have a lot of troubles/many difficulties, so I call out to you.

2 Ginoo, dungga ang akong tingog, paminawa ang akong mga paghangyo sa kaluoy.

Yahweh, hear me, while I call out to you [SYN] to be merciful to me!

3 Kung ikaw Yahweh magtimaan sa kalapasan, Ginoo, kinsa man ang makabarog?

Yahweh, if you kept a record of the sins [that we have committed], not one [of us] [RHQ] would escape from being condemned [and punished]

4 Apan adunay kapasayloan diha kanimo, aron nga ikaw pagatahuron.

But you forgive us, with the result that we greatly revere you.

5 Nagpaabot ako kang Yahweh, nagpaabot ang akong kalag, ug naglaom ako sa iyang mga pulong.

Yahweh has said [that he would help/rescue me]; I trust what he said, and I wait eagerly for him to do that.

6 Ang akong kalag nagpaabot sa Ginoo labaw pa sa magbalantay nga nagpaabot sa kabuntagon.

I wait for Yahweh [to help me] more than watchmen wait for the light to dawn; yes, I wait more eagerly than they do!

7 Israel, laomi si Yahweh. Maluluy-on si Yahweh, ug andam gayod siya nga mopasaylo.

You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will bless us]. [He will bless us] because he faithfully loves [us], and he is very willing to save/rescue [us].

8 Siya ang maglukat sa Israel gikan sa tanan niyang mga sala.

And he will save us Israeli [people] from [being punished for] all the sins that [we] have committed.
