Mga Salmo 128

1 Awit sa pagtungas. Bulahan ang matag-usa nga nagpasidungog kang Yahweh, ug naglakaw sumala sa iyang pamaagi.

(Happy are/Yahweh is pleased with) those of you who revere him and do what he wants you to do [IDM].

2 Makapahimulos ka kung unsa ang mahatag sa imong kamot; mabulahan ka ug magmauswagon.

You will [be able to earn the money] that you [MTY] need to buy food; you will be happy and you will be prosperous.

3 Ang imong asawa mahisama sa paras nga mabungahon diha sa imong balay; ang imong mga anak sama sa olibo nga mga tanom samtang manglingkod (sila) palibot sa imong lamesa.

Your wife will be like a grapevine that bears many grapes [SIM]; she will give birth to many children. Your children who sit around your table will be like a strong olive [tree that has many] shoots [growing up around it] [SIM].

4 Oo, tinuod, panalanginan ang tawo nga nagpasidungog kang Yahweh.

Every man who reveres Yahweh will be blessed like that.

5 Hinaot nga panalangin ka ni Yahweh gikan sa Zion; hinaot nga makita pa nimo ang pag-uswag sa Jerusalem sa tanan nga adlaw sa imong kinabuhi.

I wish/hope that Yahweh will bless all of you from [where he dwells] (on Zion [Hill]/[in Jerusalem]) and that you will see [the people of] Jerusalem prospering every day that you live!

6 Hinaot nga mabuhi ka pa aron makita nimo ang mga anak sa imong mga anak. Hinaot nga ang kalinaw maanaa sa Israel.

I desire that you will live many years, long enough to see your grandchildren. I desire/hope that things will go well for [the people in] Israel!
