1 Nakigsulti si Yahweh kang Moises ug miingon,
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 “Mandoi ang katawhan sa Israel ug sultihi sila, 'Sa dihang mosulod kamo sa yuta sa Canaan, ang yuta nga inyong panag-iyahon, ang yuta sa Canaan ug ang utlanan niini,
“Instruct the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of Canaan, and it has fallen into your possession by lot, it shall be bound by these limits:
3 ang inyong utlanan sa habagatan magsugod gikan sa kamingawan sa Zin hangtod sa utlanan sa Edom. Ang tumoy sa sidlakan sa habagatan nga utlanan kay anaa sa linya nga kutob sa habagatan nga utlanan sa Asin nga Dagat.
The southern part shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is next to Edom, and it shall have the Sea of Salt as a limit to the east.
4 Ang inyong utlanan moliko sa habagatan gikan sa bungtod sa Akrabbim ug moagi sa kamingawan sa Zin. Gikan didto, moagi kini sa habagatan sa Kadesh Barnea ug mopadayon sa Hazar Addar hangtod sa Azmon.
It shall circle on the south side along the ascent of the Scorpion, by this way crossing into Senna, and passing through, from the south, as far as Kadesh-barnea, from which its confines shall go out to the town called Adar, and extend even to Azmon.
5 Gikan didto, ang utlanan moagi gikan sa Azmon padulong sa sapa sa Ehipto ug mosangko kini sa dagat.
And its limits shall go around from Azmon to the Torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the shore of the Great Sea.
6 Ang kasadpan nga utlanan mahimong utlanan sa Dako nga Dagat. Mahimo kining inyong utlanan sa kasadpan.
Then the western region shall begin from the Great Sea, and the same shall be its end.
7 Ang inyong utlanan sa amihanan molahos hangtod sa linya nga kinahanglan ninyong markahan gikan sa Dakong Dagat kutob sa Bukid sa Hor,
Furthermore, toward the northern region, its limits shall begin from the Great Sea, passing through even to the highest mountain.
8 unya gikan sa Bukid sa Hor hangtod sa Lebo Hamat, ug kutob sa Zedad.
From there, it limits shall advance into Hamath, as far as the limits of Zedad.
9 Ang utlanan mopadayon sa Zifron ug kutob sa Hazar Enan. Mao kini ang inyong utlanan sa amihan.
And its confines shall go all the way to Ziphron, and to the village of Enan. These shall be the limits on the northern side.
10 Unya kinahanglan ninyong markahan ang inyong utlanan sa sidlakan sugod sa Hazar Enan hangtod sa Shefam.
From there, its limits shall be measured, facing the east side, from the village of Enan as far as Shepham.
11 Unya ang utlanan sa sidlakan monaog gikan sa Shefam hangtod sa Ribla, sa sidlakan nga bahin sa Ain. Ang utlanan mopadayon sa sidlakan nga bahin sa Dagat sa Chinneret.
And from Shepham, the boundaries shall descend into Riblah, opposite the fountain of Daphnis. From there, the boundaries shall pass through, opposite the east, to the Sea of Chinnereth,
12 Unya ang utlanan mopadayon sa habagatan subay sa Suba sa Jordan kutob sa Dagat nga Asin ug mopadayon ubos sa sidlakan nga utlanan sa Asin nga Dagat. Mao kini ang inyong yuta, subay sa tanang utlanan niini.'”
and shall extend as far as the Jordan, and, at the furthest extent, shall be enclosed by the Sea of Salt. You shall have this land, with its borders all around.”
13 Unya gimandoan ni Moises ang katawhan sa Israel ug miingon, “Mao kini ang yuta nga inyong madawat pinaagi sa ripa, nga gimando ni Yahweh nga ihatag sa siyam ka mga tribo ug sa katunga sa tribo.
And Moses instructed the sons of Israel, saying: “This shall be the land which you shall possess by lot, and which the Lord has ordered to be given to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.
14 Ang tribo sa kaliwatan ni Reuben, subay sa gitagana nga luna sa tribo sa ilang mga katigulangan, ug sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Gad, subay sa luna nga gitagana alang sa tribo sa ilang katigulangan, ug katunga sa tribo ni Manasse makadawat sa ilang mga yuta.
For the tribe of the sons of Ruben, by their families, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the number of their kinships, and also one half of the tribe of Manasseh,
15 Ang duha ka tribo ug ang katunga sa tribo nakadawat sa ilang bahin sa yuta unahan sa Jordan dapit sa sidlakan sa Jerico, paingon sa sidlakan.”
that is, two and a half tribes, have received their portion across the Jordan, opposite Jericho, toward the eastern side.”
16 Nakigsulti si Yahweh kang Moises ug miingon,
And the Lord said to Moses:
17 “Mao kini ang ngalan sa mga kalalakin-an nga mobahin sa yuta alang sa inyong panulondon: Si Eleazar nga pari ug Josue nga anak ni Nun.
“These are the names of the men, who shall divide the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun,
18 Kinahanglan nga magpili ka ug pangulo sa matag tribo aron bahinon ang yuta alang sa ilang mga banay.
and one leader from each tribe,
19 Mao kini ang ngalan sa mga kalalakin-an: Gikan sa tribo sa Juda, si Caleb nga anak ni Jefune.
whose names are these: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;
20 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Simeon, si Shemuel nga anak nga lalaki ni Amihud.
from the tribe of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud;
21 Gikan sa tribo ni Benjamin, si Elidad nga anak nga lalaki ni Kislon.
from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;
22 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Dan nga usa ka pangulo, si Bukki nga anak ni Jogli.
from the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;
23 Gikan sa kaliwatan ni Jose, sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Manasse nga usa ka pangulo, si Hanniel nga anak ni Efod.
of the sons of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
24 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Efraim nga usa ka pangulo, si Kemuel nga anak nga lalaki ni Shiftan.
from the tribe of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;
25 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Zebulun nga usa ka pangulo, si Elizafan nga anak ni Parnak.
from the tribe of Zebulon, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;
26 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Issakar nga usa ka pangulo, si Paltiel nga anak ni Azzan.
from the tribe of Issachar, Paltiel the leader, the son of Azzan;
27 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Asher nga usa ka pangulo, si Ahihud nga anak ni Shelomi.
from the tribe of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;
28 Gikan sa tribo sa kaliwatan ni Naftali nga usa ka pangulo, si Pedahel nga anak ni Amihud.”
from the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Si Yahweh nagmando niining mga tawhana nga bahinon ang yuta sa Canaan ug aron ihatag sa matag tribo sa Israel ang ilang bahin.
These are the ones that the Lord has ordered to divide the land of Canaan to the sons of Israel.
