Miquias 3
1 Miingon ako, “Karon paminaw, kamong mga pangulo ni Jacob ug mga magmamando sa panimalay sa Israel: Dili ba husto man ang inyong pagsabot sa hustisya?
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O ye heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know what is justice?
2 Kamo nga nasilag sa maayo ug nahigugma sa daotan, kamo nga milangkat sa ilang mga panit, sa ilang mga unod gikan sa ilang mga bukog—
[But they are those] who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
3 gikaon usab ninyo ang unod sa akong katawhan, ug gilangkat ang ilang panit, gibali ang ilang mga bukog, ug gitagodtagod kini, sama sa karne nga anaa sulod sa kulon, ug sa karne nga anaa sulod sa kaldero.
Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and who crush their bones, and chop them in pieces, as that to be put in a pot, and as flesh within a caldron.
4 Unya motuaw kamong mga magmamando ngadto kang Yahweh, apan dili niya kamo tubagon. Itago niya ang iyang panagway gikan kaninyo nianang taknaa, tungod kay gibuhat ninyo ang daotang binuhatan.”
Then will they cry unto the Lord, but he will not hear them; and he will hide his face from them at that time, as they have committed their evil deeds.
5 Nagsulti si Yahweh niini mahitungod sa mga propeta nga nakapahisalaag sa akong katawhan, “Kadtong mga nagpakaon kanila nagpahibalo, 'Adunay kauswagan.' Apan alang niadtong walay bisan unsang gihungit sa ilang mga baba, nangandam sila ug gubat batok kaniya.
Thus hath said the Lord concerning the prophets that mislead my people, who, when they have something to bite with their teeth, cry, Peace; but who prepare war against him who putteth nothing in their mouth:
6 Busa, mahimo kining kagabhion alang kaninyo aron wala kamoy makita; mongitngit kini aron wala na kamoy panan-awon. Mosalop na ang adlaw sa mga propeta, ug dili na modan-ag ang kahayag diha kanila.
Therefore shall the night be unto you, without a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, without divining; and the sun shall go down around the prophets, and the day shall be obscured around them.
7 Mapakaulawan ang mga mananagna, ug mangalibog ang mga salamangkero. Sap-ungan nilang tanan ang ilang mga baba, kay wala may katubagan gikan kanako.”
Thus shall the seers be made ashamed, and the diviners be put to the blush: yea, they shall all wrap themselves up to the upper lip; for there is no answer of God.
8 Apan alang kanako, napuno ako sa gahom pinaagi sa Espiritu ni Yahweh, ug napuno ako sa hustisya ug kusog, aron mapadayag kang Jacob ang iyang kalapasan, ug ngadto sa Israel ang iyang kasal-anan.
But truly I am indeed full of strength by the spirit of the Lord, and [of power] of judging, and of might, to tell unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
9 Karon paminawa kini, kamong mga pangulo sa panimalay ni Jacob, ug mga magmamando sa panimalay sa Israel, kamo nga nagdumot sa hustisya, ug nagtuis sa tanang matarong.
Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel, that abhor justice, and make crooked all that is straight.
10 Gitukod ninyo ang Zion pinaagi sa dugo ug ang Jerusalem pinaagi sa kasal-anan.
They build up Zion with blood-guiltiness, and Jerusalem with wrong.
11 Naghukom ang inyong mga pangulo alang sa usa ka suhol, nanudlo ang inyong mga pari alang sa usa ka bayad, ug nanagna ang inyong mga propeta alang sa salapi. Apan nagsalig gihapon kamo kang Yahweh ug nag-ingon, “Dili ba nag-uban man si Yahweh kanato? Walay kadaot nga modangat kanato.”
Her heads judge for bribes, and her priests teach for reward, and her prophets divine for money: and yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? evil cannot come over us.
12 Busa, tungod kaninyo, ipadaro ko ang Zion sama sa uma, mahimong tapok sa pagkaguba ang Jerusalem, ug mahisama sa kalasangan ang bungtod nga nahimotangan sa templo.
Therefore for your sake shall Zion be ploughed up as a field, and Jerusalem shall become ruinous heaps, and the mount of the house, forest-covered high-places.
