Miquias 1
1 Mao kini ang pulong ni Yahweh nga miabot kang Mika nga taga-Moreset sa mga panahon sa paghari ni Jotam, ni Ahaz, ni Hezekia, ang mga hari sa Juda, ang pulong nga iyang nakita mahitungod kini sa Samaria ug sa Jerusalem.
The word of the Lord that came to Micheas the Morasthite, in the days of Joathan, Achaz, and Ezechias, kings of Juda: which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 Paminaw, kamong tanang katawhan. Paminaw, yuta, ug ang tanan nga anaa kaninyo. Tugoti nga si Yahweh nga Ginoo mahimong saksi batok kaninyo, ang Ginoo gikan sa iyang balaang templo.
Hear, all ye people: and let the earth give ear, and all that is therein: and let the Lord God be a witness to you, the Lord from his holy temple.
3 Tan-awa, mogula si Yahweh sa iyang dapit; mokanaog siya ug motamak sa hataas nga mga dapit sa kalibotan.
For behold the Lord will come forth out of his place: and he will come down, and will tread upon the high places of the earth.
4 Matunaw ang bukid ilalom kaniya; magkabulag ang mga walog sama sa kandila sa atubangan sa kalayo, sama sa katubigan nga igabubo sa tumoy nga dapit.
And the mountains shall be melted under him: and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as waters that run down a steep place.
5 Kining tanan tungod sa pagsupak ni Jacob, ug tungod sa mga sala sa balay sa Israel. Unsa man ang hinungdan sa pagsupak ni Jacob? Dili ba ang Samaria? Unsa man ang hinungdan sa hataas nga mga dapit sa Juda? Dili ba ang Jerusalem?
For the wickedness of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the wickedness of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Juda? are they not Jerusalem?
6 “Himoon ko ang Samaria nga sama sa tinapok sa uma, sama sa usa ka dapit nga pagatamnan ug mga paras. Tumbahon ko ang iyang gambalay nga mga bato ngadto sa walog; kuhaon ko ang tabon sa iyang mga patukoranan.
And I will make Samaria as a heap of stones in the field when a vineyard is planted: and I will bring down the stones thereof into the valley, and will lay her foundations bare.
7 Pagadugmokon ang tanan niyang kinulit nga mga larawan; ug pagasunogon ang tanan nga gisuhol kaniya sa pagbaligya ug dungog. Pagawagtangon ko ang tanan niya nga diosdios. Tigomon niya ang iyang suhol sa pagpamaligya sa iyang dungog, ug ibalik nila ang suhol sa pagbaligya ug dungog.”
And all her graven things shall be cut in pieces, and all her wages shall be burnt with fire, and I will bring to destruction all her idols: for they were gathered together of the hire of a harlot, and unto the hire of a harlot they shall return.
8 Tungod niini nga hinungdan magsubo ug magminatay ako; maglakaw ako nga magtiniil ug hubo; magminatay ako sama sa mga ihalas nga iro ug magsubo sama sa mga kuwago.
Therefore will I lament and howl: I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and a mourning like the ostriches.
9 Kay wala nay kaayohan ang iyang samad, kay miabot kini sa Juda. Miabot kini ngadto sa ganghaan sa akong katawhan, sa Jerusalem.
Because her wound is desperate, because it is come even to Juda, it hath touched the gate of my people even to Jerusalem.
10 Ayaw pagsulti mahitungod niini diha sa Gat; ayaw gayod paghilak. Nagligid ako sa akong kaugalingon sa abog didto sa Bet Leafra.
Declare ye it not in Geth, weep ye not with tears: in the house of Dust sprinkle yourselves with dust.
11 Pag-agi kamo, ang lumolupyo sa Shafir, nga hubo ug naulawan. Ang mga lumolupyo sa Zaanan wala manggula. Nagsubo ang taga-Bet-Ezel, kay nawala na ang makapanalipod kanila.
And pass away, O thou that dwellest in the Beautiful place, covered with thy shame: she went not forth that dwelleth in the confines: the House adjoining shall receive mourning from you, which stood by herself.
12 Kay ang mga lumolupyo sa Marot wala mahimutang sa paghulat sa maayong mga balita, tungod kay gipakanaog ni Yahweh ang katalagman ngadto sa mga ganghaan sa Jerusalem.
For she is become weak unto good that dwelleth in bitterness: for evil is come down from the Lord into the gate of Jerusalem.
13 Isangon ang karwahe ngadto sa mga kabayo, mga lumolupyo sa Lakis. Kamo, nga mga taga-Lakis, maoy sinugdanan sa pagpakasala alang sa anak nga babaye sa Zion, kay ang kalapasan sa Israel nakaplagan diha kaninyo.
A tumult of chariots hath astonished the inhabitants of Lachis: it is the beginning of sin to the daughter of Sion, for in thee were found the crimes of Israel.
14 Busa maghatag kamo ug bahin sa gasa ngadto kang Moreset Gat; ang lungsod sa Aczib makapahiubos sa mga hari sa Israel.
Therefore shall she send messengers to the inheritance of Geth: the houses of lying to deceive the kings of Israel.
15 Pagadad-on ko pag-usab ang manlulupig diha kaninyo, mga lumolupyo sa Maresha; moabot ang kahayag sa Israel ngadto sa Adulam.
Yet will I bring an heir to thee that dwellest in Maresa: even to Odollam shall the glory of Israel come.
16 Kiskisi ang inyong ulo ug gupiti ang inyong buhok alang sa mga kabataan nga inyong gikahimut-an. Opawi ang inyong kaugalingon sama sa mga agila, kay ang inyong mga anak pagakuhaon gikan kaninyo.
Make thee bald, and be polled for thy delicate children: enlarge thy baldness as the eagle: for they are carried into captivity from thee.
