Marcos 12
1 Unya si Jesus nagsugod sa pagtudlo kanila sa sambingay. Siya miingon, “Adunay tawo nga nagtanom sa parasan, nagbutang ug koral palibot niini, ug nagkalot ug bangag aron pug-anan sa paras. Unya iya kining gibutangan ug tore nga bantayanan ug unya gipaatiman niya ang parasan sa mga tigpatubo ug paras. Unya miadto siya sa layo.
And he began to speak to them in parables: A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge around it, and digged a wine-press, and built a tower, and let it out to vine-dressers, and went into another country.
2 Sa tukmang panahon, nagpadala siya ug sulugoon didto sa mga tigpatubo ug paras aron modawat siya sa pipila nga bunga gikan sa parasan.
And at the proper time, he sent a servant to the vine-dressers, that he might receive from the vine-dressers of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 Apan ila siyang gidakop, gikulata, ug gipapa-uli nga walay dala.
And they took him and scourged him, and sent him away without any thing.
4 Nagpadala usab siya didto kanila ug lain pang sulugoon, ug ilang gisamad samaran ang iyang ulo ug gipakaulawan. Nagpadala na usab siya ug lain nga sulugoon, ug kini ilang gipatay.
And again he sent to them another servant; and at him they threw stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
5 Ilang gitagad ang daghan sa samang paagi, gikulata ang pipila ug ang uban gipatay.
And again he sent another; and him they killed. And he sent many others, some of whom they scourged, and some they killed.
6 Aduna pa siyay usa ka tawo nga nahibilin aron ipadala, ang hinigugmang anak nga lalaki. Siya mao ang kataposan nga iyang ipadala ngadto kanila. Nag-ingon siya “Tahuron gayod nila ang akong anak.”
Therefore, having yet one son, his beloved, he sent him also to them last, saying, They will reverence my son.
7 Apan ang mga saop nag-ingnanay sa matag usa “Kini ang manununod. Dali, ato siyang patyon, ug ang mapanunod atong maangkon.”
But those vine-dressers said one to another, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
8 Ila siyang gidakop, gipatay, ug gilabay sa gawas sa parasan.
And they took him, and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.
9 Busa, unsa man ang buhaton sa tag-iya sa parasan? Siya moadto ug pouhon ang mga tigpatubo sa paras ug ang parasan ihatag niya didto sa uban.
What, then, will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those vine-dressers, and give his vineyard to others.
10 Wala ba kamo makabasa niining kasulatan? 'Ang bato nga gisalikway sa magtutukod, nahimo nga patukoranan.
Have you not read this scripture: The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner;
11 Kini naggikan sa Ginoo ug kahibulongan kini sa atong mga mata.”'
this was from the Lord, and it is wondrous in our eyes?
12 Sila nangita ug paagi sa pagdakop kang Jesus, apan nahadlok sila sa katawhan, kay sila nasayod nga nagsulti siya sa sambingay batok kanila. Busa mibiya sila ug nagpalayo.
And they sought to take him, but feared the multitude; for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them; and they left him, and went away.
13 Unya sila nagpadala didto kaniya sa pipila ka Pariseo ug pipila ka mga sakop ni Herodes, sa pagbitik kaniya sa iyang gipamulong.
And they sent to him some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they might entrap him in his words.
14 Sa dihang sila miabot, sila misulti ngadto kaniya, “Magtutudlo, nasayod kami nga wala ka magpakabana sa gisulti sa uban, ug wala ka nagpihig sa matag usa ka tawo. Ikaw nanudlo sa kamatuoran sa pamaagi sa Dios. Uyon ba kini sa balaod nga mobayad ug buhis ngadto kang Cesar o dili? Mobayad ba kita o dili?”
And they came and said to him: Teacher, we know that you are true, and that you care for no one; for you do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give tribute to Cæsar, or not?
15 Apan nasayod si Jesus sa ilang pagpakaaron-ingnon ug siya nag-ingon kanila, “Nganong gisulayan ako ninyo? Dad-i ako ug denario aron ako kining tan-awon.”
Must we give, or must we not give? But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them: Why do you tempt me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.
16 Sila nagdala ug usa ngadto kang Jesus. Siya miingon kanila, “Kinsang hulagway ang nakasulat niini?” Sila nag-ingon “kang Cesar.”
They brought it; and he said to them: Whose image and superscription is this? They said to him: Cæsar’s.
17 Si Jesus nag-ingon, “Ihatag kang Cesar ang mga butang nga iya kang Cesar, ug sa Dios ang mga butang nga iya sa Dios.” Sila natingala kaniya.
And Jesus answered and said to them: Give to Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they were astonished at him.
18 Unya ang mga Saduceo miduol kaniya, sila nga nagsulti nga walay pagkabanhaw. Sila nangutana kaniya, nga nag-ingon,
And the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him, and put a question to him, saying:
19 “Magtutudlo, si Moises nagsulat alang kanato, 'Kung ang igsoong lalaki mamatay ug nabiyaan ang iyang asawa, apan wala siya makabaton ug anak, ang lalaki kinahanglan mokuha sa asawa sa iyang igsoon, ug mobaton ug anak alang sa iyang igsoong lalaki.'
Teacher, Moses wrote for us, If any man’s brother die, and leave a wife, and leave no children, his brother shall take his wife, and raise up children for his brother.
20 Adunay pito ka managsoong lalaki; ang una nangasawa ug unya namatay, nibiya nga walay anak.
Now there were seven brothers; and the first took a wife, and dying, left no child;
21 Unya ang ikaduha nakigminyo sa babaye ug namatay, nibiya nga walay anak. Ug ang ikatulo mao gihapon.
and the second took her, and he died, and left no child; and the third, likewise;
22 Ang pito mibiya nga walay mga anak. Sa kataposan niining tanan ang babaye namatay usab.
and the seven took her, and left no child. Last of all, the woman also died.
23 Panahon sa pagkabanhaw, sa dihang sila mabuhi pag-usab, kang kinsa nga asawa ang babaye? Kay ang tanang pito ka managsoong lalaki nakapangasawa man kaniya.”
Therefore, in the resurrection, when they rise, of which of them shall she be the wife? for the seven had her as a wife.
24 Si Jesus miingon, “Dili ba kini mao ang hinungdan nga nangasayop kamo, tungod kay wala kamo masayod sa kasulatan ug sa gahom sa Dios?
And Jesus answered and said to them: Do you not err for this reason, because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
25 Kay sa dihang sila mabuhi gikan sa mga patay, sila dili na magminyoay, o tugotan nga mangasawa, apan sila sama na sa mga anghel sa langit.
For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven.
26 Apan mahitungod sa mga namatay, nga sila mabuhi, wala ba kamo makabasa sa basahon ni Moises, sa gisaysay mahitungod sa sampinit, giunsa sa Dios sa pagpakigsulti kaniya ug nag-ingon, 'Ako ang Dios ni Abraham, ang Dios ni Isaac, ug ang Dios ni Jacob?”'
But concerning the dead, that they do rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, at The Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 Dili siya Dios sa mga patay, apan sa mga buhi. Nasayop gayod kamo.”
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Therefore, you do greatly err.
28 Ang usa sa mga manunulat sa balaod miduol ug naminaw sa ilahang panaghisgotanay; siya nakakita nga si Jesus mitubag kanila nga maayo. Siya nangutana kaniya, “Unsa nga kasugoan ang labing mahinungdanon sa tanan?”
And one of the scribes came, and heard them reasoning together; and perceiving that he had answered them well, he asked him: Which is the first commandment of all?
29 Si Jesus mitubag, “Ang labing mahinungdanon mao kini, 'Pamati, Israel, ang Ginoo nga atong Dios, ang Ginoo usa lamang.
And Jesus answered him: The first commandment of all is, Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.
30 Kinahanglan higugmaon ninyo ang Ginoo nga inyong Dios sa tibuok ninyo nga kasingkasing ug tibuok ninyo nga kalag, sa tibuok ninyo nga hunahuna, ug sa tibuok ninyo nga kusog.'
And you shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole mind, and with your whole strength. This is the first commandment.
31 Ang ikaduha nga sugo mao kini, 'Kinahanglan higugmaon ninyo ang inyong silingan sama sa inyong kaugalingon,' Wala nay makalabaw niining maong mga kasugoan.”
And the second, which is like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
32 Ang manunulat sa balaod nag-ingon, “Maayong, magtutudlo! Tinuod gayod ang imong giingon nga ang Dios usa lamang, ug nga wala nay lain gawas kaniya.
And the scribe said to him: Teacher, in truth you have well said, that there is one God, and there is no other beside him;
33 Sa paghigugma kaniya sa tibuok natong kasing-kasing ug tibuok nato nga salabotan ug tibuok nato nga kusog, ug sa paghigugma sa silingan sama sa kaugalingon, kini labaw pa sa mga halad nga sinunog ug sakripisyo.”
and to love him with the whole heart, and with the whole understanding, and with the whole soul, and with the whole strength, and to love one’s neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.
34 Sa dihang si Jesus nakakita nga naghatag siya ug maayong tubag, siya nag-ingon kaniya, “Dili ka halayo sa gingharian sa Dios.” Pagkahuman niana wala na gayoy nangahas sa pagpangutana kang Jesus sa daghang mga pangutana.
And Jesus perceiving that he answered with understanding, said to him: You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no one, after that, ventured to ask him a question.
35 Si Jesus nanudlo didto sa templo, ug siya mitubag ngadto kanila ug miingon, “Giunsa kini nga ang mga manunulat sa balaod nagsulti nga ang Cristo anak ni David?
And Jesus, as he was teaching in the temple, answered and said: How say the scribes that the Christ is the son of David?
36 Si David sa iyang kaugalingon, pinaagi sa Balaang Espiritu, miingon, 'Ang Ginoo nag-ingon ngadto sa akong Ginoo, lingkod dinhi sa akong tuong kamot, hangtod nga himuon kung tumbanan ang imong mga kaaway.'
For David himself said by the Holy Spirit: The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I make thy enemies thy footstool.
37 Si David sa iyang kaugalingon nagtawag kang Cristo 'Ginoo', busa naunsa nga siya anak ni David?” Ang dakong pundok sa katawhan naminaw kaniya uban sa kalipay.
David himself, then, calls him Lord; and how is he his son? And the great multitude heard him with pleasure.
38 Sa iyang pagpanudlo si Jesus miingon, “Pagbantay sa mga manunulat sa balaod, kinsa nagtinguha sa paglakaw nga nagbisti ug tag-as, ug buot sila sa pinasahi nga mga pag-abiabi diha sa mga merkado,
And he said to them in his teaching: Beware of the scribes, who love to walk in robes, and love salutations in the markets,
39 ug sa mga nahauna nga lingkoranan sa labaw sa mga sinagoga, ug sa mga nahaunang dapit sa mga pista.
and the first seats in the synagogues, and the first places at suppers;
40 Ila usab nga giilog ang balay sa mga balo, ug nag-ampo sila sa tag-as kaayo aron ipakita sa mga tawo. Kini makadawat ug labing dako nga silot.”
who eat up the houses of widows, and, as a pretext, make long prayers: these shall receive more abundant condemnation.
41 Unya si Jesus milingkod atbang sa kahon nga halaran sa dapit sa templo; nagtan-aw siya sa mga tawo nga naghulog sa ilang salapi didto sa kahon. Ug daghan ang mga dato nga tawo nga nagbutang ug dagko nga kantidad sa salapi.
And Jesus, sitting opposite the treasury, observed how the multitude threw money into the treasury. And many rich persons threw in much.
42 Unya ang kabos nga babaye nga balo miduol ug mibutang sa duha kadako, kantidad ug duha ka sentabo.
And there came one poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 Gitawag ni Jesus ang iyang mga disipulo ug giingnan niya sila, “Sa pagkatinuod sultihan ko kamo nga, kining kabos nga babayeng balo nagbutang ug labaw pa kay kanila ngadto sa kahon nga halaran.
And he called his disciples to him, and said to them: Verily I say to you, this poor widow has thrown in more than all that have thrown into the treasury.
44 Silang tanan naghatag ug sobra sa ilang kadagaya. Apan kining babaye nga balo gawas sa iyang kakabos, nagbutang sa tanan niya nga salapi nga iyang ikabuhi.”
For all have thrown in out of their abundance; but she, out of her poverty, has thrown in all that she had, her whole living.
