Levitico 24
1 Nakigsulti si Yahweh kang Moises, nga nag-ingon,
Yahweh also said to Moses/me,
2 “Mandoi ang katawhan sa Israel nga magdala ug lunsay nga lana nga gipuga gikan sa olibo aron gamiton sa lampara, aron magpadayon ang pagsiga sa lampara.
“Command the Israeli people to continually bring to you clear oil made from pressed olives to burn in the lamps [in the Sacred Tent], in order that those lamps will burn all the time.
3 Sa gawas sa tabil sa atubangan sa kasugoan sa tolda nga tagboanan, kinahanglan kanunay pasigaon ni Aaron ang lampara, gikan sa gabii hangtod sa pagkabuntag, sa atubangan ni Yahweh. Makanunayon kini nga kasugoan ngadto sa kaliwatan sa inyong katawhan.
Outside the curtain of the Very Holy Place, Aaron must take care of the lamps in my presence continually, in order that they will burn all during the night. That regulation must be obeyed forever.
4 Kinahanglan kanunay pasigaon sa labaw nga pari ang lampara sa atubangan ni Yahweh, ang mga lampara nga anaa sa tungtonganan nga lunsayng bulawan.
Those lampstands that burn in my presence must be taken care of continually.
5 Kinahanglan magkuha ka ug maayong harina ug pagluto ug dose ka tinapay gamit kini. Kinahanglan adunay 2/10 ka epha sa matag tinapay.
“Also, [each week] you must take some fine flour and bake twelve [very big] loaves of bread, using about four quarts/liters of flour for each loaf.
6 Unya kinahanglan nga ibutang mo kini sa duha ka laray, unom sa matag laray, diha sa lamisa nga lunsayng bulawan sa atubangan ni Yahweh.
Put the loaves in two rows, with six loaves in each row, on the table covered with pure gold, in my presence.
7 Kinahanglan nga butangan mo ug lunsayng insenso ang matag laray sa mga tinapay ingon nga pagpaila sa halad. Pagasunogon kini nga insenso alang kang Yahweh.
Along each row, place [in some gold cups] some pure incense to be burned to be an offering to me instead of the bread.
8 Sa matag Adlaw nga Igpapahulay kinahanglan ilain kanunay sa labaw nga pari ang tinapay sa atubangan ni Yahweh nga gikan sa katawhan sa Israel, ingon nga timailhan sa walay kataposan nga kasabotan.
New/Fresh loaves of bread must be put [on the table] each Sabbath day, to signify the agreement that will never end, that I have made with you Israeli people.
9 Kini nga halad alang kang Aaron ug sa iyang mga anak nga lalaki, ug kaonon nila kini didto sa balaan nga dapit, kay kini nga bahin gikan sa mga halad nga sinunog ngadto kang Yahweh.”
The bread [that is taken off the table] belongs to Aaron and his sons. They must eat it in a holy place, because it is a very holy part of the offerings that are given to me by being burned.”
10 Karon nahitabo nga ang anak nga lalaki sa babaye nga Israelita, nga ang amahan usa ka Ehiptohanon nga nagpuyo uban sa katawhan sa Israel. Kini nga anak nga lalaki sa babaye nga Israelita nakigbatok sa tawo nga Israelita diha sa kampo.
There was a man whose mother’s name was Shelomith; she was an Israeli whose father was Dibri from the tribe of Dan. And that man’s father was from Egypt. One day that man and another Israeli man started to fight inside the camp. And while they were fighting, that man cursed Yahweh [MTY].
11 Gipasipad-an sa anak nga lalaki sa babaye nga Israelita ang ngalan ni Yahweh ug gitunglo ang Dios, busa gidala siya sa katawhan ngadto kang Moises. Ang ngalan sa iyang inahan mao si Shelomit, ang anak nga babaye ni Dibri nga gikan sa tribo ni Dan.
12 Gibilanggo nila siya hangtod nga isulti ni Yahweh ang iyang kabubut-on ngadto kanila.
So the Israeli people seized him and guarded him until they could find out what Yahweh would reveal to them [that they should do to that man].
13 Unya nakigsulti si Yahweh kang Moises, nga nag-ingon,
Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
14 “Dad-a ang tawo nga nagtunglo sa Dios ngadto sa gawas sa kampo. Ang tanang nakadungog kaniya kinahanglan motapion sa ilang mga kamot diha sa iyang ulo, ug unya kinahanglan nga batohon siya sa tanang katawhan.
“[Tie up and] take outside the camp the man who has cursed me. There all those who heard what he said must put their hands on his head [to indicate that he is guilty], and then all the people must [kill him by] throwing stones at him.
15 Kinahanglan nga ipasabot ug isulti nimo ngadto sa katawhan sa Israel, 'Si bisan kinsa nga magtunglo sa iyang Dios kinahanglan manubag sa iyang sala.
Tell the Israelis, ‘If anyone curses me, he must (endure the consequences/be punished).
16 Siya nga magpasipala sa ngalan ni Yahweh kinahanglan nga pagapatyon gayod. Kinahanglan nga batohon siya sa tanang katawhan, bisan kon siya usa ka langyaw o taga-Israel. Kung adunay magpasipala sa ngalan ni Yahweh, kinahanglang patyon gayod siya.
So anyone who curses me [MTY] must be executed. All the people must throw stones at him. It does not matter if he is a foreigner or an Israeli citizen; anyone who curses me must be executed.’
17 Kung adunay makapatay ug laing tawo, kinahanglan nga patyon usab siya.
“Also, If anyone murders another person, he must be executed.
18 Kung adunay tawo nga makapatay ug mananap sa laing tawo, kinahanglan bayaran niya kini, kinabuhi alang sa kinabuhi.
And anyone who kills [another person’s] animal must give that person a live animal to replace the one that he killed.
19 Kung nakapasakit si bisan kinsa sa iyang isigkatawo, kinahanglan nga buhaton usab kini ngadto kaniya sama sa iyang gibuhat sa iyang isigkatawo:
And if one person injures another person, the injured person is allowed to injure the person who injured him in the same way:
20 ang nabalian alang sa nabalian, ang mata alang sa mata, ang ngipon alang sa ngipon. Kay siya ang hinungdan sa pagkabalda sa usa ka tawo, busa kinahanglan nga buhaton usab kini ngadto kaniya.
If someone breaks one of another person’s bones, that person is allowed to break one of the bones of the person who injured him. If someone gouges out an eye of another person, that person is allowed to gouge out the eye of the person who injured him. If someone knocks out the tooth of another person, that person is allowed to knock out one of his teeth. What is done to the offender must be the same as what he did to the other person.
21 Si bisan kinsa nga makapatay ug mananap kinahanglan bayaran niya kini, ug si bisan kinsa nga makapatay ug tawo kinahanglan patyon gayod.
Whoever kills [another person’s] animal must give that person a live animal to replace the one that he killed, but anyone who murders another person must be executed.
22 Kinahanglan aduna kamoy managsamang balaod alang sa mga langyaw ug sa taga-Israel, kay ako si Yahweh ang inyong Dios.'''
That law applies to you Israelis and and also to the foreigners who live among you; I, Yahweh your God [am the one who has commanded it].”
23 Busa nakigsulti si Moises sa katawhan sa Israel, ug gidala sa katawhan sa gawas sa kampo ang tawo nga nagtunglo kang Yahweh. Gibato nila siya. Gituman sa katawhan sa Israel ang gimando ni Yahweh ngadto kang Moises.
Then Moses/I told the Israelis [what they must do to the man who cursed Yahweh], so they took the man outside the camp and [killed him by] throwing stones at him. They did what Yahweh commanded Moses/me [to tell them to do].
