Mga Maghuhukom 7
1 Unya mibangon si Jerub Baal (nga mao si Gideon) sa sayo sa kabuntagon, ug ang tanang katawhan nga uban kaniya, ug nagkampo sila sa kilid sa tuboran sa Harod. Anaa sa ilang amihanan nga bahin ang kampo sa mga Midianhon didto sa walog duol sa bungtod sa More.
Therfor Jerobaal, which also Gedeon, roos bi nyyt, and al the puple with hym, and cam to the welle which is clepid Arad. Sotheli the tentis of Madian weren in the valey, at the north coost of the hiy hil.
2 Miingon si Yahweh kang Gideon, “Adunay daghan kaayo nga mga sundalo alang kanako aron mohatag ug kadaogan kaninyo batok sa mga Midianhon, aron dili magpasigarbo ang Israel dinhi kanako, nga moingon, 'Naluwas kami pinaagi sa among kaugalingong gahom.'
And the Lord seide to Gedeon, Myche puple is with thee, and Madian schal not be bitakun in to the hondis `ther of, lest Israel haue glorie ayens me, and seie, Y am delyuerid bi my strengthis.
3 Busa karon, imantala ngadto sa mga igdulongog sa katawhan ug isulti, 'Si bisan kinsa ang nahadlok, si bisan kinsa ang nangurog, paulia siya ug pahawaa gikan sa Bukid sa Gilead.'” Busa 22, 000 ka mga tawo ang nanghawa, ug 10, 000 ang nagpabilin.
Speke thou to the puple, and preche thou, while alle men heren, He that is ferdful `in herte, and dredeful `with outforth, turne ayen. And thei yeden awei fro the hil of Galaad, and two and twenti thousynde of men turniden ayen fro the puple; and oneli ten thousynde dwelliden.
4 Miingon si Yahweh kang Gideon, “Daghan pa gihapon ang katawhan. Dad-a sila ngadto sa tubig, ug kuhaan ko ang ilang gidaghanon didto alang kanimo. Kung ingnon ko ikaw, 'Mouban kini kanimo,' mouban siya kanimo; apan kung moingon ako, 'Dili kini mouban kanimo,' dili siya mouban.”
And the Lord seide to Gedeon, Yet the puple is myche; lede thou hem to the watris, and there Y schal preue hem, and he go, of whom Y schal seye, that he go; turne he ayen, whom Y schal forbede to go.
5 Busa gidala ni Gideon ang mga tawo didto sa tubig, ug miingon si Yahweh kaniya, “Lahia ang tanan nga motilap sa tubig, sama sa pagtilap sa iro, gikan niadtong moluhod aron moinom.”
And whanne the puple hadde go doun to watris, the Lord seide to Gedeon, Thou schalt departe hem bi hem silf, that lapen watris with hond and tunge, as doggis ben wont to lape; sotheli thei, that drynken with knees bowid, schulen be in the tothir part.
6 300 ka mga lalaki ang mitilap aron moinom. Ang nahibilin miluhod aron sa pag-inom ug tubig.
And so the noumbre of hem, that lapiden watris bi hond castynge to the mouth, was thre hundrid men; forsothe al the tothir multitude drank knelynge.
7 Miingon si Yahweh kang Gideon, “Uban sa 300 ka mga lalaki nga mitilap aron moinom, luwason ko kamo ug hatagan ug kadaogan batok sa mga Midianhon. Pabalika ang ubang mga tawo sa ilang kaugalingong dapit.”
And the Lord seide to Gedeon, In thre hundrid men, that lapiden watris, Y schal delyuere you, and Y schal bitake Madian in thin hond; but al the tothir multitude turne ayen in to her place.
8 Busa kadtong napili mikuha sa ilang mga pagkaon ug sa ilang mga budyong. Gipauli ni Gideon ang tanang lalaki sa Israel, ang matag lalaki sa ilang mga tolda, apan iyang gipabilin ang 300 ka mga lalaki. Karon ang kampo sa mga Midianhon anaa lamang ubos kaniya didto sa walog.
And so whanne thei hadden take meetis and trumpis for the noumbre, he comaundide al the tothir multitude to go to her tabernaclis; and he, with thre hundrid men, yaf hym silf to batel. Sothely the tentis of Madian weren bynethe in the valey.
9 Nianang gabhiona usab miingon si Yahweh kaniya, “Bangon! Sulonga ang kampo, kay hatagan ko ikaw ug kadaogan batok niini.
In the same nyyt the Lord seyde to hym, Ryse thou, and go doun in to `the castels of Madian, for Y haue bitake hem in thin hond;
10 Apan kung mahadlok ka sa paglugsong, lugsong didto kuyog sa imong sulugoon nga si Pura,
sotheli if thou dredist to go aloon, Phara, thi child, go doun with thee.
11 ug paminawa ang ilang isulti, ug magmaisogon ka sa pagsulong sa kampo.” Busa miadto si Gideon kuyog si Pura nga iyang sulugoon, ngadto sa mga dapit sa guwardiya sa maong kampo.
And whanne thou schalt here what thei speken, thanne thin hondis schulen be coumfortid, and thou schalt do down sikerere to the tentis of enemyes. Therfor he yede doun, and Phara, his child, in to the part of tentis, where the watchis of armed men weren.
12 Ang mga Midianhon, ang mga Amalekanhon, ug ang tanang katawhan sa sidlakan nahimutang didto sa walog, sama ka baga sa dulon nga daw panganod. Dili maihap ang ilang mga kamelyo; labaw pa sila kadaghan sa balas sa baybayon.
Forsothe Madian, and Amalech, and alle the puplis of the eest layen spred in the valey, as the multitude of locustis; sotheli the camelis weren vnnoumbrable, as grauel that liggith in the `brenke of the see.
13 Sa dihang miabot si Gideon didto, nagsugilon ang usa ka tawo sa iyang damgo ngadto sa iyang kauban. Miingon ang tawo, “Paminaw! Aduna akoy damgo, ug nakakita ako ug lingin nga tinapay nga sebada nga naligid padulong sa kampo sa Midianhon. Miabot kini ngadto sa tolda, ug kusog ang pagkabangga niini nga natumba ang tolda ug nabalit-ad, busa nahapla kini.”
And whanne Gedeon hadde come, a man tolde a dreem to his neiybore, and telde bi this maner that, that he hadde seyn, I siy a dreem, and it semyde to me, that as `o loof of barly bakun vndur the aischis was walewid, and cam doun in to the tentis of Madian; and whanne it hadde come to a tabernacle, it smoot and distriede `that tabernacle, and made euene outirly to the erthe.
14 Miingon ang laing tawo, “Wala nay lain pa niini gawas sa espada ni Gideon (ang anak nga lalaki ni Joas), ang Israelita. Gihatagan siya ug kadaogan sa Dios batok sa mga Midianhon ug sa tanan nilang kasundalohan.”
That man answeride, to whom he spak, This is noon other thing, no but the swerd of Gedeon, `sone of Joas, a man of Israel; for the Lord hath bitake Madian and alle `tentis therof in to the hondis of Gedeon.
15 Sa dihang nadungog ni Gideon ang maong pagsugid sa damgo ug ang hubad niini, miyukbo siya aron sa pagsimba. Mibalik siya sa kampo sa Israel ug miingon, “Bangon! Gihatagan kita ni Yahweh ug kadaogan batok sa mga Midianhon.”
And whanne Gedeon had herd the dreem, and `the interpretyng therof, he worschypide the Lord, and turnede ayen to the tentis of Israel, and seide, Ryse ye; for the Lord hath bitake in to oure hondis the tentis of Madian.
16 Gibahin niya ang 300 ka mga lalaki ngadto sa tulo ka pundok, ug gihatagan silang tanan ug mga budyong ug mga banga nga walay sulod, uban sa mga sulo nga anaa sa sulod sa banga.
And he departide thre hundrid men in to thre partis, and he yaf trumpis in her hondis, and voyde pottis, and laumpis in the myddis of the pottis.
17 Miingon siya kanila, “Tan-aw kanako ug buhata ang akong buhaton. Tan-aw! Sa dihang moabot ako duol sa kampo, kinahanglan buhaton ninyo ang akong buhaton.
And he seide to hem, Do ye this thing which ye seen me do; Y schal entre in to a part of the tentis, and sue ye that, that Y do.
18 Sa dihang patingogon nako ang budyong, ako ug ang tanan nga uban kanako, patingoga usab ang inyong mga budyong sa matag kilid sa tibuok kampo ug singgit, 'Alang kang Yahweh ug alang kang Gideon!”
Whanne the trumpe in myn hond schal sowne, sowne ye also `bi the cumpas of tentis, and crye ye togidere, To the Lord and to Gedeon.
19 Busa miadto si Gideon ug ang gatosan ka mga lalaki nga uban kaniya sa utlanan sa kampo, sa pagsugod gayod sa tungatunga sa pagbantay. Sa pagpuli sa mga guwardiya sa mga Midianhon, gipatingog nila ang ilang mga budyong ug gibuak ang mga banga nga anaa sa ilang mga kamot.
And Gedeon entride, and thre hundrid men that weren with hym, `in to a part of the tentis, whanne the watchis of mydnyyt bigunnen; and whanne the keperis weren reysid, thei bigunnen to sowne with trumpis, and to bete togidere the pottis among hem silf.
20 Gipatingog sa tulo ka mga pundok ang mga budyong ug gipangbuak ang mga banga. Gigunitan nila ang mga sulo sa ilang wala nga kamot ug ang mga budyong ngadto sa ilang tuo nga kamot aron sa pagpatingog niini. Misinggit sila, “Ang espada ni Yahweh ug ni Gideon.”
And whanne thei sowneden in thre places bi cumpas, and hadden broke the pottis, thei helden laumpis in the left hondis, and sownynge trumpis in the riyt hondis; and thei crieden, The swerd of the Lord and of Gedeon; and stoden alle in her place,
21 Ang matag lalaki mitindog sa ilang dapit libot sa kampo ug nanagan ang tanang mga sundalo nga Midianhon. Naninggit sila ug nanagan palayo.
`bi the cumpas of the tentis of enemyes. And so alle `the tentis weren troblid; and thei crieden, and yelliden, and fledden;
22 Sa dihang gipatingog nila ang 300 ka mga budyong, gitugot ni Yahweh nga unayon sa matag Midianhon ang kauban pinaagi sa espada ug batok sa tanan nilang mga kasundalohan. Midagan ang kasundalohan hangtod sa Bet Shita paingon sa Zerera, hangtod sa utlanan sa Abel Mehola, duol sa Tabat.
and neuertheles the thre hundrid men contynueden, sownynge with trumpis. And the Lord sente swerd in alle the castels, and thei killiden hem silf bi deeth ech other;
23 Gipatawag ang mga kalalakin-an sa Israel gikan sa Neftali, Asher, ug ang tanang taga-Manases, ug gigukod nila ang mga Midianhon.
and thei fledden `til to Bethsecha, and bi the side, fro Elmonla in to Thebbath. Sotheli men of Israel crieden togidere, of Neptalym, and of Aser, and of alle Manasses, and pursueden Madian; and the Lord yaf victorie to the puple of Israel in that day.
24 Nagpadala si Gideon ug mga mensahero sa tibuok kabungtoran sa lungsod ni Efraim, nga nag-ingon, “Lugsong batok sa mga Midianhon ug dumalahi ang Suba sa Jordan, hangtod sa Bet Bara, aron sa pagpugong kanila.” Busa ang tanang kalalakin-an sa Efraim nagtigom ug gidumalahan ang katubigan, hangtod sa Bet Bara ug sa Suba sa Jordan.
And Gedeon sente messangeris in to al the hil of Effraym, and seide, Come ye doun ayens the comyng of Madian, and ocupie ye the watris `til to Bethbera and Jordan. And al Effraym criede, and bifore ocupide the watris and Jordan `til to Bethbera.
25 Nadakpan nila ang duha ka prinsipe nga Midianhon, si Oreb ug si Zeeb. Gipatay nila si Oreb didto sa bato ni Oreb, ug gipatay nila si Zeeb didto sa pug-anan ug ubas ni Zeeb. Gigukod nila ang mga Midianhon, ug gidala nila ang mga ulo ni Oreb ug ni Zeeb ngadto kang Gideon, nga anaa sa tabok sa Jordan.
And Effraym killide twei men of Madian, Oreb and Zeb; he killide Oreb in the ston of Oreb, forsothe `he killide Zeb in the pressour of Zeb; and `thei pursueden Madian, and baren the heedis of Oreb and of Zeb to Gedeon, ouer the flodis of Jordan.
