Mga Maghuhukom 19
1 Niadtong mga panahona, sa dihang wala pay hari ang Israel, adunay usa ka lalaki nga Levita, nagpuyo siya didto sa labing hilit nga dapit sa kabungtoran ni Efraim. Mikuha siya ug babaye alang sa iyang kaugalingon, usa ka kaipon nga gikan sa Betlehem sa Juda.
A man was a dekene dwellinge in the side of the hil of Effraym, which dekene took a wijf of Bethleem of Juda.
2 Apan wala nagmatinud-anon ang iyang kaipon kaniya; mibiya kini kaniya ug mibalik sa balay sa iyang amahan sa Betlehem sa Juda. Nagpuyo siya didto sulod sa upat ka bulan.
And sche lefte hym, and turnede ayen in to the hows of hir fadir in Bethleem, and sche dwellide at hym foure monethis.
3 Unya miadto ug miapas ang iyang bana aron sa paghangyo nga mobalik siya kaniya. Miuban kaniya ang iyang sulugoon, ug ang paris sa asno. Busa gidala sila sa babaye sa balay sa iyang amahan. Sa dihang nakita sa amahan sa babaye ang lalaki, nalipay gayod siya.
And hir hosebonde suede hir, and wolde be recounselid to hir, and speke faire, and lede hir ayen with him; and he hadde in cumpany a child, and tweyne assis. And sche resseyuede hym, and brouyte him in to `the hows of hir fadir; and whanne hise wyues fadir hadde herd this, and `hadde seyn hym, he ran gladli to hym, and kisside the man.
4 Ang iyang ugangan, nga amahan sa babaye, mipugos kaniya nga magpabilin sa tulo ka adlaw. Nangaon sila ug nanginom, ug didto na sila nagpagabii.
And the hosebonde of the douytir dwellide in `the hows of his wyues fadir in three daies, and eet and drank hoomli with hym.
5 Sa ika-upat nga adlaw misayo sila sa pagbangon ug nangandam siya aron sa paglakaw, apan miingon ang amahan sa babaye ngadto sa iyang umagad nga lalaki, “Lig-ona ang imong kaugalingon pinaagi sa gamay nga tinapay, ug makalakaw na kamo.”
Sotheli in the fourthe dai he roos bi nyyt, and wolde go forth; whom `the fadir of his wijf helde, and seide to hym, Taaste thou first a litil of breed, and coumforte thi stomak, and so thou schalt go forth.
6 Busa nanglingkod silang duha aron mangaon ug nagdungan sa pag-inom. Unya miingon ang amahan sa babaye, “Palihog itugot ninyo nga magpabilin kamo aron dinhi na matulog ug maglipay.”
And thei saten togidere, and eeten, and drunkun. And the fadir of the damysele seide to `the hosebonde of his douyter, Y beseche thee, that thou dwelle here to dai, and that we be glad togidere.
7 Sa dihang mibangon na ang Levita aron sa pagbiya, gipugngan siya sa amahan sa babaye aron magpabilin una, busa giusab niya ang iyang plano ug nagpabilin na usab siya didto tibuok gabii.
And he roos, and bigan to wilne to go; and neuertheles `the fadir of his wijf helde hym mekeli, and made to dwelle at hym.
8 Sa ikalima nga adlaw mibangon siya ug sayo aron sa pagbiya, apan miingon ang amahan sa babaye, “Lig-ona ang imong kaugalingon, ug hulat una kamo hangtod nga moabot ang kaudtohon.” Busa nangaon silang duha.
Forsothe whanne the morewtid was maad, the dekene made redi weie; to whom `the fadir of his wijf seide eft, Y biseche, that thow take a litil of mete, and make thee strong til the dai encreesse, and aftirward go forth. Therfor thei eten togidere.
9 Sa dihang mibangon na ang Levita ug ang iyang kaipon ug ang iyang sulugoon aron nga molakaw na, ang iyang ugangang lalaki, ang amahan sa babaye miingon kaniya, “Tan-awa, hapit na ang gabii. Palihog pabilin una kamo karong gabii, ug paglipay. Mahimo na kamong magmata ug sayo ugma ug mouli sa inyong balay.”
And the yong man roos to go with his wijf and child; to whom the fadir of his wijf spak eft, Biholde thou, that the dai is `lowere to the goynge doun, and it neiyeth to euentid; dwelle thou at me also to dai, and lede a glad dai, and to morewe thou schalt go forth, that thou go in to thin hows.
10 Apan dili na gusto magpabilin ang Levita sa tibuok gabii. Mitindog siya ug mibiya. Miadto siya sa Jebus (mao kana ang Jerusalem). Aduna siyay duha ka mga asno nga adunay hapin— ug uban kaniya ang iyang kaipon.
The `hosebonde of the douytir nolde assente to hise wordis; but he yede forth anoon, and cam ayens Jebus, which bi another name is clepid Jerusalem; and he ledde with hym twei assis chargid, and the wijf.
11 Sa dihang hapit na sila sa Jebus, hapit na gayod mahuman ang adlaw, unya ang iyang sulugoon miingon sa iyang agalon, “Umari ka, moliko kita didto sa siyudad sa mga Jebusihanon ug didto na magpahulay karong gabii.”
And now thei weren bisidis Jebus, and the day was chaungid in to nyyt. And the child seide to his lord, Come thou, Y biseche, bowe we to the citee of Jebus, and dwelle we therynne.
12 Ang iyang agalon miingon kaniya, “Dili kita moliko didto sa dapit sa mga langyaw nga dili sakop sa mga Israelita. Moadto nalang kita didto sa Gibea.”
To whom the lord answeride, Y schal not entre in to the citee of an alien folc, which is not of the sones of Israel, but Y schal passe `til to Gabaa;
13 Miingon ang Levita sa iyang batan-ong sulugoon, “Umari ka, moadto kita sa laing dapit, ug didto nalang kita magpahulay karong gabii sa Gibea o sa Rama.”
and whanne Y schal come thidur, we schulen dwelle therynne, `ether certis in the citee of Rama.
14 Busa miadto sila, ug misalop na ang adlaw sa dihang niabot sila duol sa Gibea, sa teritoryo ni Benjamin.
Therfor thei passiden Jebus, and token the weie bigunnun. And the sunne yede doun to hem bisidis Gabaa, which is in the lynage of Beniamyn;
15 Busa miliko sila ug didto na nagpagabii sa Gibea. Nag-adto siya ug milingkod didto sa plasa sa siyudad, tungod kay walay nagdapit kanila sa ilang panimalay nianang gabhiona.
and thei turneden to it, that thei schulden dwelle there. Whidur whanne thei hadden entrid, thei saten in the street of the citee, and no man wolde resseyue hem to herbore.
16 Unya nianang gabhiona adunay tigulang nga lalaki nga gikan sa iyang uma. Gikan siya sa kabungtoran ni Efraim, ug nagpuyo siya sa Gibea sa makadiyot lamang. Apan mga Benjaminhon ang mga tawo nga nagpuyo didtong dapita.
And lo! an eld man turnede ayen fro the feeld, and fro his werk in the euentid, and apperide to hem, which also hym silf was of the hil of Effraym, and he dwellide a pilgrym in Gabaa. Therfor men of that cuntrey weren the sones of Gemyny.
17 Giyahat niya ang iyang mga mata ug nakita niya ang mga magpapanaw didto sa plasa sa siyudad. Miingon ang tigulang nga lalaki, “Asa man kamo mangadto? Asa man kamo gikan?”
And whanne the eld man reiside his iyen, he siy a man sittynge with hise fardels in the street of the citee; and he seide to `that man, Fro whennus comest thou? and whidur goist thou?
18 Miingon ang Levita kaniya, “Gikan kami sa Betlehem sa Juda padulong sa labing hilit nga bahin sa kabungtoran ni Efraim, nga kung asa didto ako naggikan. Miadto ako sa Betlehem sa Juda, ug moadto ako sa balay ni Yahweh, apan walay bisan usa nga nagdapit kanako sulod sa iyang balay.
Which answeride to hym, We yeden forth fro Bethleem of Juda, and we gon to oure place, which is in the side of the hil of Effraym, fro whennus we yeden to Bethleem; and now we gon to the hows of God, and no man wole resseyue vs vndur his roof,
19 Aduna kami uhot nga pagkaon sa among mga asno, ug adunay tinapay ug bino alang kanako ug alang sa akong babayeng sulugoon, ug usab niining batan-ong lalaki nga uban sa imong mga sulugoon. Ug wala na kami lain pang gikinahanglan.”
and we han prouendre and hey in to mete of assis, and breed and wyn in to myn vsis, and of thin handmayde, and of the child which is with me; we han no nede to ony thing, no but to herbore.
20 Gitahod sila sa tigulang nga lalake, “Ang kalinaw maanaa kaninyo! Ako na ang bahala sa tanang ninyong gikinahanglan. Basta ayaw lang kamo pagpabilin karong gabii dinhi sa plasa.”
To whom the eld man answeride, Pees be with thee; Y schal yyue alle `thingis, that ben nedeful; oneli, Y biseche, dwelle thou not in the street.
21 Busa gidala sa tigulang ang Levita sa iyang balay ug iyang gipakaon ang ilang mga asno. Gihugasan nila ang ilang mga tiil unya nangaon ug nanginom.
And he brouyte hym in to his hows, and yaf `mete to the assis; and after that thei waischiden her feet, he resseyuede hem `in to feeste.
22 Sa dihang naglipaylipay ang ilang kasingkasing, ang pipila ka mga kalalakin-an sa siyudad nga walay mga pulos ang mipalibot sa balay ug nagpukpok sa ilang pultahan. Nakigsulti sila sa tigulang nga lalaki, ang agalon sa balay, nag-ingon, “Pagawsa ang lalaki nga anaa sa imong balay, aron nga makighilawas kami kaniya.”
While thei eeten, and refreischiden the bodies with mete and drynk after the trauel of weie, men of that citee camen, the sones of Belial, that is, with out yok, and thei cumpassiden the `hows of the elde man, and bigunnun to knocke the doris; and thei crieden to the lord of the hows, and seiden, Lede out the man that entride in to thin hows, that we mysuse him.
23 Ang lalaki, ang agalon sa balay, miadto kanila ug miingon, “Dili, akong mga kaigsoonan, palihog ayaw buhata kining daotang butang! Tungod kay bisita ko kining tawhana, ayaw buhata kining daotang butang!
And the elde man yede out to hem, and seide, Nyle ye, britheren, nyle ye do this yuel; for the man entride in to myn herbore; and ceesse ye of this foli.
24 Tan-awa, anaa dinhi ang akong ulay nga anak ug ang kaipon sa akong bisita. Tugoti ako sa pagpagawas kanila. Hilabti sila ug buhata ang gusto ninyong buhaton kanila. Apan ayaw lamang ninyo buhati ug daotan kining tawhana!”
Y haue a douyter virgyn, and this man hath a wijf; Y schal lede out hem to you, that ye make lowe hem, and fille youre lust; oneli, Y biseche, that ye worche not this cursidnesse ayens kynde `ayens the man.
25 Apan wala naminaw ang mga kalalakin-an kaniya, busa gikuha sa lalaki ang iyang kaipon ug gidala sa gawas. Gidakop nila siya, gilugos, ug gipanamastamasan siya sa tibuok gabii, ug sa pagkakaadlawon gibuhian nila siya.
Thei nolden assente to hise wordis; which thing the man siy, and ledde out his wijf to hem, and bitook to hem hir to be defoulid. And whanne thei hadden misusid hir al niyt, thei leften hir in the morewtid.
26 Sa pagkakaadlawon miabot ang babaye ug natumba kini dapit sa pultahan sa balay sa lalaki kung diin nagpuyo ang iyang agalon, ug naghigda siya didto hangtod nga mihayag na.
And whanne the derknessis departiden, the womman cam to the dore of the hows, where hir lord dwellide, and there sche felde doun.
27 Mibangon sayo sa buntag ang iyang agalon ug giablihan ang mga pultahan sa balay ug migawas paadto sa iyang adtoan. Nakita niya ang iyang kaipon nga naghigda dapit sa pultahan, ang iyang kamot anaa sa pultahan.
Whanne the morewtid was maad, the man roos, and openyde the dore, `that he schulde fille the weie bigunnun; and lo! his wijf lay bifor the dore, with hondis spred in the threischfold.
28 Ang Levita misulti kaniya, “Bangon. Manglakaw na kita.” Apan wala siya mitubag. Gibutang niya siya sa asno, ug mipauli ang lalaki sa ilang balay.
And he gesside `hir to reste, `and spak to hir, Rise thou, and go we. `And whanne sche answeride no thing, he vndirstode that sche was deed; and he took hir, and puttide on the asse, and turnede ayen in to his hows.
29 Sa nahiabot na ang Levita sa iyang balay, mikuha siya ug kutsilyo, ug iyang gigunitan ang iyang kaipon, ug iyang gihiwahiwa, matag parte, sa dose ka bahin, ug gidala ang matag bahin bisan asa sa tibuok Israel.
And whanne he entride in `to that hows, he took a swerd, and departide in to twelue partis and gobetis the deed body of the wijf, and sente in to alle the termes of Israel.
30 Ang tanan nga nakakita niini miingon, “Wala pa gayoy nahitabo o nakita nga sama niini sukad sa adlaw nga nakalingkawas ang mga katawhan sa Israel didto sa yuta sa Ehipto hangtod karon nga adlaw. Hunahunaa kini! Tagai kami ug tambag! Sultihi kami unsa ang among buhaton!”
And whanne alle `men hadden herde this, thei crieden, Neuere siche a thing was don in Israel, fro that dai `in which oure fadris stieden fro Egipt `til in to `present tyme; seie ye sentence, and deme ye in comyn, what is nede to be doon.
