Mga Maghuhukom 11
1 Karon si Jepta nga Gileadhanon usa ka kusgan nga manggugubat, apan anak siya sa babayeng nagabaligya ug dungog. Si Gilead mao ang iyang amahan.
And so in that tyme Jepte, a man of Galaad, was a ful strong man, and fiytere, the sone of a womman hoore, which Jepte was borun of Galaad.
2 Ang asawa ni Gilead nanganak usab sa iyang laing mga anak nga lalaki. Sa dihang nanagko na ang mga anak nga lalaki sa iyang asawa, gipugos nila si Jepta sa pagbiya sa balay ug giingnan siya, “Wala kay bisan unsang mapanunod gikan sa among pamilya. Anak ka sa laing babaye.”
Forsothe Galaad hadde a wijf, of which he hadde sones, whiche aftir that thei encressiden, castiden out Jepte, and seiden, Thou maist not be eir in the hows of oure fadir, for thou art born of a modir auoutresse.
3 Busa mibiya si Jepta gikan sa iyang mga igsoong lalaki ug mipuyo sa yuta sa Tob. Miuban ang mga tawong masinupakon sa balaod ug nangadto sila ug mikuyog kaniya.
`Whiche britheren he fledde, and eschewide, and dwellide in the lond of Tob; and pore men and `doynge thefte weren gaderid to hym, and sueden as a prince.
4 Pipila ka mga adlaw, nakiggubat ang katawhan sa Ammon batok sa Israel.
In tho daies the sones of Amon fouyten ayens Israel;
5 Sa dihang ang katawhan sa Ammon nakiggubat batok sa Israel, miadto ang mga kadagkoan sa Gilead aron sa pagkuha pagbalik kang Jepta gikan sa yuta sa Tob.
and whanne thei contynueden scharpli, the grettere men in birthe of Galaad, yeden to take in to `the help of hem silf Jepte fro the lond of Tob;
6 Miingon sila kang Jepta, “Dali ug ikaw ang mangulo kanamo aron makig-away kita sa katawhan ni Ammon.”
and thei seiden to hym, Come thou, and be oure prince, and fiyte ayens the sones of Amon.
7 Si Jepta miingon sa mga pangulo sa Gilead, “Nasilag kamo kanako ug gipugos ninyo ako sa pagbiya sa balay sa akong amahan. Nganong mianhi man kamo kanako karon nga anaa kamo sa kagubot?”
To whiche he answeride, Whethir not ye it ben, that haten me, and castiden me out of the hows of mi fadir, and now ye camen to me, and weren compellid bi nede?
8 Ang mga kadagkoan sa Gilead miingon kang Jepta, “Mao kana ang hinungdan nga mianhi kami kanimo karon; uban kanamo ug pakig-away sa katawhan sa Ammon, ug mamahimo kang pangulo ibabaw sa tanan nga nagpuyo sa Gilead.”
And the princes of Galaad seiden to Jepte, Therfor for this cause we camen now to thee, that thou go with vs, and fiyt ayens the sones of Amon; and that thou be the duyk of alle men that dwellen in Galaad.
9 Si Jepta miingon sa mga kadagkoan sa Gilead, “Kung inyo akung dal-on pagbalik sa balay aron sa pagpakig-away batok sa katawhan sa Ammon, ug kung hatagan ako ni Yahweh ug kadaogan tali kanila, mamahimo ninyo akong pangulo.”
And Jepte seide to hem, Whether ye camen verili to me, that Y fiyte for you ayens the sones of Amon, and if the Lord schal bitake hem in to myn hondis, schal Y be youre prince?
10 Ang mga kadagkoan sa Gilead miingon kang Jepta, “Hinaot nga si Yahweh ang mamahimong saksi tali kanato kung dili namo buhaton ang among gisulti!”
Whiche answeriden to hym, The Lord hym silf, that herith these thingis, is mediatour and witnesse, that we schulen do oure biheestis.
11 Busa miuban si Jepta sa mga kadagkoan sa Gilead, ug ang mga tawo naghimo kaniya nga pangulo ug labaw kanila. Sa dihang didto na siya atubangan ni Yahweh sa Mizpa, gisubli ni Jepta ang tanan nga gihimo niyang panaad.
And so Jepte wente with the princes of Galaad, and al the puple made hym her prince; and Jepte spak alle hise wordis bifor the Lord in Maspha.
12 Ug nagpadalag mga mensahero si Jepta ngadto sa hari sa katawhan sa Ammon, nga nag-ingon, “Unsa man kining panagbangi tali kanato? Nganong mianhi man kamo uban sa pagpamugos sa pagkuha sa among yuta?”
And he sente messangeris to the kyng of the sones of Amon, whiche messangeris schulden seie `of his persoone, What is to me and to thee, for thou hast come `ayens me to waaste my lond?
13 Ang hari sa katawhan sa Ammon mitubag sa mga mensahero ni Jepta, “Tungod kay sa dihang migawas ang Israel gikan sa Ehipto, giilog nila ang akong yuta gikan sa Arnon hangtod sa Jabok, latas sa Jordan. Karon ibalik kadtong mga yutaa nga malinawon.
To whiche the kyng answeride, For Israel whanne he stiede fro Egipt took awei my lond, fro the coostis of Arnon `til to Jaboch and to Jordan, now therfor yeelde it to me with pees.
14 Nagpadala pag-usab si Jepta ug mga mensahero ngadto sa hari sa katawhan sa Ammon,
Bi whiche massangeris Jepte sente eft, and comaundide to hem, that thei schulden seie to the kyng of Amon,
15 ug miingon siya, “Mao kini ang giingon ni Jepta: Wala gikuha sa Israel ang yuta sa Moab ug ang yuta sa katawhan sa Ammon,
Jepte seith these thingis, Israel took not the lond of Moab, nether the lond of the sones of Amon;
16 apan migikan sila sa Ehipto, ug milatas ang Israel sa kamingawan ngadto sa Pulang Dagat ug sa Kades.
but whanne thei stieden fro Egipt, `he yede bi the wildirnesse `til to the Reed See, and cam in to Cades;
17 Sa dihang nagpadalag mga mensahero ang Israel ngadto sa hari sa Edom, nga nag-ingon, 'Palihog paagiha kami sa inyong yuta,' wala naminaw ang hari sa Edom. Nagpadala usab silag mga mensahero ngadto sa hari sa Moab, apan nagdumili siya. Busa ang Israel nagpabilin sa Kades.
and he sente messangeris to the kyng of Edom, and seide, Suffre thou me, that Y go thoruy thi lond; which kyng nolde assente to his preyeres. Also Israel sente to the kyng of Moab, and he dispiside to yyue passage;
18 Unya miadto sila latas sa kamingawan ug mibiya sa yuta sa Edom ug sa yuta sa Moab, ug miadto sila sa sidlakang bahin sa yuta sa Moab ug nagkampo sa pikas nga bahin sa Arnon. Apan wala sila moadto sa sakop sa Moab, kay ang Arnon mao man ang utlanan sa Moab.
and so Israel dwellyde in Cades, and cumpasside bi the side the lond of Edom, and the lond of Moab; and he cam to the eest coost of the lond of Moab, and settide tentis biyende Arnon, nether he wolde entre in to the termes of Moab; for Arnon is the ende of the lond of Moab.
19 Nagpadalag mga mensahero ang Israel ngadto kang Sihon, nga hari sa mga Amorihanon, nga maoy pangulo sa Hesbon; Miingon ang Israel kaniya, 'Palihog, paagiha kami sa imong yuta paingon ngadto sa amoa.'
And so Israel sente messangeris to Seon, kyng of Ammorreis, that dwellide in Esebon; and thei seiden to hym, Suffre thou, that Y passe thorouy thi lond `til to the ryuer.
20 Apan wala mosalig si Sihon sa Israel nga moagi sa iyang ginsakopan. Busa gitigom ni Sihon ang tanan niyang kasundalohan ug miadto sa Jahaz, ug didto nakiggubat siya batok sa Israel.
And he dispiside the wordis of Israel, and suffride not hym passe bi hise termes, but with a multitude with out noumbre gaderid to gidere he yede out ayens Israel, and ayenstood strongli.
21 Ug si Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel, mitugyan kang Sihon ug sa tanan niyang katawhan ngadto sa kamot sa Israel ug nabuntog sila. Busa gikuha sa Israel ang tanan nga kayutaan sa mga Amorihanon nga nagpuyo niadtong dapita.
And the Lord bitook hym with al his oost in to the hondis of Israel; and Israel smoot hym, and hadde in possessioun al the lond of Ammorrey,
22 Gikuha nila ang tanan nga anaa sa ginsakopan sa mga Amorihanon, gikan sa Arnon ngadto sa Jabbok, ug gikan sa kamingawan ngadto sa Jordan.
dwellere of that cuntrey, and al the coostis therof fro Arnon `til to Jaboch, and fro the wildirnesse `til to Jordan.
23 Busa si Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel, nagpapahawa sa mga Amorihanon diha sa iyang katawhang Israel, ug karon gusto ninyong panag-iyahon ang ilang yuta?
Therfor the Lord God of Israel distriede Ammorrey, fiytynge ayens hym for his puple Israel. And wolt thou now haue in possessioun `his lond? Whether not tho thingis whiche Chamos, thi god, hadde in possessioun, ben due to thee bi riyt?
24 Dili ba ninyo kuhaon ang yuta nga iya ni Kemosh, ang inyong dios, nga gihatag kaninyo? Busa bisan unsa nga yuta nga gihatag ni Yahweh kanamo, among kuhaon.
Forsothe tho thingis whiche `oure Lord God ouercomere gat, schulen falle in to oure possessioun;
25 Karon tinuod ba nga mas maayo pa kamo ni Balak ang anak nga lalaki ni Zippor, ang hari sa Moab? Nakaako ba siya pagpakiglalis sa Israel? Nakiggubat ba siya batok kanila?
no but in hap thou art betere than Balach, the sone of Sephor, kyng of Moab, ether thou maist preue, that he stryuede ayens Israel, and fauyt ayens hym,
26 Samtang nagpuyo ang Israel sulod sa 300 ka tuig sa Hesbon ug sa kabaryohan niini, ug sa Aroer sa kabaryohan niini, ug sa tanan nga mga siyudad nga anaa sa daplin sa Arnon—nganong wala man ninyo kini kuhaa pagbalik niadtong mga panahona?
whanne he dwellide in Esebon, and in townes therof, and in Aroer, and in townes therof, and in alle citees biyende Jordan, bi thre hundrid yeer. Whi in so myche time assaieden ye no thing on this axyng ayen?
27 Wala akoy nabuhat nga sayop kaninyo, apan nagbuhat kamo ug sayop kanako pinaagi sa pag-ataki kanako. Si Yahweh, nga maghuhukom, ang mohukom karong adlawa tali sa katawhan sa Israel ug sa katawhan sa Ammon.”
Therfor not Y do synne ayens thee, but thou doist yuel ayens me, and bryngist in batels not iust to me; the Lord, iuge of this dai, deme bitwixe the sones of Israel and bitwixe the sones of Amon.
28 Apan ang hari sa katawhan sa Ammon wala maminaw sa pasidaan ni Jepta nga gipadala kaniya.
And the kyng of the sones of Amon nolde assente to the wordis of Jepte, whiche he sente bi messangeris.
29 Ug ang Espiritu ni Yahweh mikunsad kang Jepta, ug miagi siya sa Gilead ug sa Manasses, ug miagi sa Mizpa sa Gilead, ug gikan sa Mizpa sa Gilead miadto siya ngadto sa katawhan sa Ammon.
Therfor the spirit of the Lord was maad on Jepte, and he cumpasside Galaad and Manasses, Maspha and Galaad; and he passide fro thennus to the sones of Amon,
30 Nanaad si Jepta kang Yaweh ug miingon, “Kung hatagan mo akog kadaogan tali sa katawhan sa Ammon,
and made a vow to the Lord, and seide, If thou schalt bitake the sones of Amon in to myn hondis,
31 bisan unsa nga mogawas sa mga pultahan sa akong balay aron sa pagsugat kanako sa akong pagbalik nga malinawon gikan sa katawhan sa Ammon mamahimong iya ni Yahweh, ug ihalad ko kini isip halad nga sinunog.”
who euer goith out first of the dores of myn hows, and cometh ayens me turnynge ayen with pees fro the sones of Amon, Y schal offre hym brent sacrifice to the Lord.
32 Busa miadto si Jepta sa katawhan sa Ammon aron sa pagpakig-away batok kanila, ug naghatag si Yahweh kaniya ug kadaogan.
And Jepte yede to the sones of Amon, to fiyte ayens hem, whiche the Lord bitook in to hise hondis;
33 Gisulong niya sila ug gipamatay gikan sa Aroer hangtod sa Minnit—20 ka siyudad—ug sa Abel Keramim. Busa ang katawhan sa Ammon nahimong ubos sa pagdumala sa katawhan sa Israel.
and he smoot fro Aroer `til to thou comest in to Mennyth, twenti citees, and `til to Abel, which is set aboute with vyneris, with ful greet veniaunce; and the sones of Amon weren maad low of the sones of Israel.
34 Miadto si Jepta sa iyang balay sa Mizpa, ug didto misugat kaniya ang iyang anak nga babaye uban sa tambor ug mga pagsayaw. Bugtong niya siyang anak, ug gawas kaniya wala na siyay anak nga lalaki ni anak nga babaye.
Forsothe whanne Jepte turnede ayen in to Maspha, his hows, his oon gendrid douyter cam to hym with tympanys and croudis; for he hadde not othere fre children.
35 Sa dihang nakita niya siya, gigisi niya ang iyang bisti ug miingon, “Oh! Akong anak! Gidugmok mo ako sa kaguol, ug nahimo kang usa sa hinungdan sa akong kasakit! Kay nakahimo akog panaad ngadto kang Yahweh, ug dili ko matalikdan ang akong saad.”
And whanne `sche was seyn, he to-rente his clothis, and seide, Allas! my douytir, thou hast disseyued me, and thou art disseyued; for Y openyde my mouth to the Lord, and Y may do noon other thing.
36 Miingon siya kaniya, “Akong amahan, nakahimo ka ug saad ngadto kang Yahweh, himoa kanako ang tanan nimong gisaad, tungod kay si Yahweh ang nanimalos kanimo batok sa imong mga kaaway, ang Ammonihanon.”
To whom sche answeride, My fadir, if thou openydist thi mouth to the Lord, do to me what euer thing thou bihiytist, while veniaunce and victorie of thin enemyes is grauntid to thee.
37 Miingon siya sa iyang amahan, 'Himoa nga kining saad matuman alang kanako. Biya-i akong mag-inusara sulod sa duha ka bulan, aron makabiya ako ug makaadto sa kabungtoran ug magbangotan sa akong pagkaulay, ako ug ang akong mga kaubanan.”
And sche seide to the fadir, Yyue thou to me oneli this thing, which Y biseche; suffre thou me that in two monethis Y cumpasse hillis, and biweile my maidynhed with my felowis.
38 Miingon siya, “Lakaw.” Gipalakaw niya siya sulod sa duha ka bulan. Mibiya siya kaniya, siya ug ang iyang mga kaubanan, ug nagbangotan sila sa iyang pagka-ulay didto sa kabungtoran.
To whom he answeride, Go thou. And he sufferide hir in two monethis. And whanne sche hadde go with hir felowis and pleiferis, sche biwepte hir maydynhed in the hillis.
39 Pagkahuman sa duha ka bulan mibalik siya sa iyang amahan, nga naghimo ngadto kaniya sumala sa saad ug panumpa nga iyang gihimo. Wala pa gayod siya madulogi ug lalaki, ug nahimo kining tulumanon sa Israel
And whanne twey monethis weren fillid, sche turnede ayen to hir fadir, and he dide to hir as he avowide; and sche knew not fleischli a man. Fro thennus a custom cam in Israel,
40 nga ang kababayen-an sa Israel matag tuig, sulod sa upat ka adlaw, pagabalikon ang sugilanon sa babayeng anak ni Jepta nga Gileadhanon.
and the custom is kept, that aftir the `ende of the yeer the douytris of Israel come togidere, and biweile `the douytir of Jepte of Galaad `foure daies.
