Josue 4
1 Sa dihang nakatabok na ang tanang katawhan sa Jordan, miingon si Yahweh kang Josue,
And it was just when they had finished all the nation to pass over the Jordan. And he said Yahweh to Joshua saying.
2 “Pagpili ug napulo ug duha ka kalalakin-an alang sa imong kaugalingon gikan sa taliwala sa katawhan, usa ka lalaki gikan sa matag tribo.
Take for yourselves from the people two [plus] ten men a man one a man one from a tribe.
3 Ihatag kini kanila nga mando: 'Dad-a ang napulo ug duha ka mga bato gikan sa taliwala sa Jordan diin nagtindog ang mga pari sa mala nga yuta, ug dad-on kini diha kanimo ug ibutang kini sa dapit diin kamo magpahulay karong gabhiona.'”
And command them saying take up for yourselves from here from [the] middle of the Jordan from [the] standing-place of [the] feet of the priests to make firm two [plus] ten stones and you will take over them with you and you will set down them at the lodging place which you will stay at it this night.
4 Unya gitawag ni Josue ang napulo ug duha ka kalalakin-an nga iyang gipili gikan sa katribohan sa Israel, usa gikan sa matag tribo.
And he called Joshua to two [plus] the ten man whom he had appointed from [the] people of Israel a man one a man one from a tribe.
5 Miingon si Josue kanila, “Adto ngadto sa taliwala sa Jordan sa atubangan sa sagradong sudlanan sa kasabotan ni Yahweh nga inyong Dios. Ang matag usa kaninyo magpas-an ug bato, sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga tribo sa katawhan sa Israel.
And he said to them Joshua pass over before [the] ark of Yahweh God your into [the] middle of the Jordan and take up for yourselves each a stone one on shoulder his to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel.
6 Mao kini ang timaan alang kaninyo diha sa inyong taliwala sa dihang mangutana ang inyong mga anak sa umaabot nga mga adlaw, 'Unsa man ang buot pasabot niining mga batoha alang kaninyo?'
So that it may be this a sign in midst your if they will ask! children your tomorrow saying what? [are] the stones these to you.
7 Unya mosulti kamo ngadto kanila, 'Natunga ang katubigan sa Jordan atubangan sa sagradong sudlanan sa kasabotan ni Yahweh. Ang katubigan sa Jordan natunga, sa dihang gitabok na kini sa Jordan. Busa kining mga batoha mahimong handomanan ngadto sa katawhan sa Israel hangtod sa kahangtoran.'”
And you will say to them that they were cut off [the] waters of the Jordan from before [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh when passed on it in the Jordan they were cut off [the] waters of the Jordan and they will become the stones these a reminder to [the] people of Israel until perpetuity.
8 Gituman sa katawhan sa Israel ang gimando ni Josue, unya mikuha sila ug napulo ug duha ka mga bato gikan sa taliwala sa Jordan, sama sa giingon ni Yahweh ngadto kang Josue, nagtapok sila sa samang gidaghanon ingon nga katribohan sa katawhan sa Israel. Gipas-an nila kini ngadto sa dapit diin sila nagpahulay sa kagabhion ug gitapok nila kini didto.
And they did thus [the] people of Israel just as he had commanded Joshua and they took up two [plus] ten stones from [the] middle of the Jordan just as he had said Yahweh to Joshua to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel and they took over them with them to the lodging place and they set down them there.
9 Unya gitapok ni Josue ang napulo ug duha ka mga bato sa taliwala sa Jordan, sa dapit diin nagbarog ang mga tiil sa mga pari nga nagpas-an sa sagradong sudlanan sa kasabotan. Ug ang handoman anaa pa didto hangtod niining adlawa.
And two [plus] ten stones he set up Joshua in [the] middle of the Jordan in [the] standing-place of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant and they have been there until the day this.
10 Ang mga pari nga nagpas-an sa sagradong sudlanan sa kasabotan nagbarog taliwala sa Jordan hangtod nga nahuman ang tanan nga gimando ni Yahweh ngadto kang Josue sa pagsulti sa katawhan, sumala sa tanan nga mga mando ni Moises ngadto kang Josue. Nagdali ang katawhan ug nitabok sila.
And the priests [the] bearers of the ark [were] standing in [the] middle of the Jordan until was finished every thing which he had commanded Yahweh Joshua to speak to the people according to all that he had commanded Moses Joshua and they hurried the people and they passed over.
11 Sa dihang ang tanan nga katawhan nahuman na sa pagtabok, ang sagradong sudlanan sa kasabotan ni Yahweh ug ang mga pari mitabok nga naglantaw ang katawhan.
And it was just when it had finished all the people to pass over and it passed over [the] ark of Yahweh and the priests before the people.
12 Ang tribo ni Reuben, ang tribo ni Gad, ug ang katunga sa tribo ni Manases miagi sa atubangan sa katawhan sa Israel nga han-ay ingon nga mga sundalo, sama sa giingon ni Moises kanila.
And they passed over [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh arrayed for battle before [the] people of Israel just as he had spoken to them Moses.
13 Mokabat ug 40, 000 ka kalalakin-an nga nabansay alang sa gubat ang milabang sa atubangan ni Yahweh, alang sa gubat sa kapatagan sa Jerico.
About forty thousand armed [men] of war they passed over before Yahweh for battle to [the] plains of Jericho.
14 Nianang adlawa gihimo ni Yahweh si Josue nga bantogan sa mga mata sa tanang Israelita. Gitahod nila siya—ingon nga gitahod nila si Moises—sa tanan niyang mga adlaw.
On the day that he made great Yahweh Joshua in [the] eyes of all Israel and they feared him just as they had feared Moses all [the] days of life his.
15 Unya nakigsulti si Yahweh kang Josue,
And he said Yahweh to Joshua saying.
16 “Mandoi ang mga pari nga nagpas-an sa sudlanan sa pagpamatuod nga mopahawa na gikan sa Jordan.”
Command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the testimony so they may come up from the Jordan.
17 Busa, gimandoan ni Josue ang mga pari, “Pahawa na gikan sa Jordan.”
And he commanded Joshua the priests saying come up from the Jordan.
18 Sa dihang ang mga pari nga nagpas-an sa sagradong sudlanan sa kasabotan ni Yahweh mipahawa sa taliwala sa Jordan, ug ang ilang mga tiil mitikang sa mala nga yuta, unya ang katubigan sa Jordan nabalik sa nahimutangan niini ug miawas sa matag kilid niini, sama sa nahitabo sa milabay nga upat ka adlaw.
And it was (just as came up *Q(K)*) the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] middle of the Jordan they were drawn out [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests to the dry ground and they returned [the] waters of the Jordan to place their and they went as yesterday three days ago over all banks its.
19 Mipahawa ang katawhan sa Jordan sa ikanapulo nga adlaw sa unang bulan. Nagpabilin sila sa Gilgal, ang sidlakan sa Jerico.
And the people they went up from the Jordan on the ten of the month first and they encamped at Gilgal on [the] edge of [the] east of Jericho.
20 Ang napulo ug duha ka mga bato nga ilang gikuha gawas sa Jordan, gitapok ni Josue sa Gilgal.
And two [plus] ten the stones these which they had taken from the Jordan he set up Joshua at Gilgal.
21 Miingon siya sa katawhan sa Israel, “Sa dihang mangutana ang inyong mga kaliwat sa ilang mga amahan sa moabot nga panahon, 'Unsa man kining mga batoha?'
And he said to [the] people of Israel saying that they will ask! children your tomorrow fathers their saying what? [are] the stones these.
22 Sultihi ang inyong mga anak, 'Dinhi mitabok ang mga Israelita sa mala nga yuta sa Jordan.'
And you will make known to children your saying on the dry ground it passed over Israel the Jordan this.
23 Gipamala ni Yahweh nga inyong Dios ang katubigan sa Jordan alang kaninyo, hangtod nga makatabok kamo, sama sa gibuhat ni Yahweh nga inyong Dios sa Dagat nga Kabugangan, nga iyang gipamala alang kanato hangtod nga kita nakalatas,
That he dried up Yahweh God your [the] waters of the Jordan from before you until had passed over you just as he did Yahweh God your to [the] sea of reed[s] which he dried up from before us until had passed over we.
24 aron nga masayod ang tanan nga katawhan sa kalibotan nga ang kamot ni Yahweh gamhanan, ug tungod niana inyong pasidunggan si Yahweh nga inyong Dios hangtod sa kahangtoran.”
So as to know all [the] peoples of the earth [the] hand of Yahweh that [is] mighty it so that you may fear Yahweh God your all the days.
