Josue 22
1 Niadtong panahona gitawag ni Josue ang mga kaliwat ni Reuben, ang mga kaliwat ni Gad, ug ang katunga sa tribo ni Manases.
Then Ioshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the halfe tribe of Manasseh,
2 Miingon siya kanila, “Gibuhat ninyo ang tanan nga gisugo kaninyo ni Moises nga alagad ni Yahweh. Gituman ninyo ang akong tingog sa tanan nga akong gisugo kaninyo.
And sayd vnto them, Ye haue kept all that Moses the seruaunt of the Lord commanded you, and haue obeied my voice in all that I commanded you:
3 Wala ninyo biyai ang inyong mga kaigsoonan niining daghang mga adlaw, ug hangtod karong adlawa. Ug natuman ninyo ang mga buluhaton nga gikinahanglan pinaagi sa kasugoan ni Yahweh nga inyong Dios.
You haue not forsaken your brethren this long season vnto this day, but haue diligently kept the commandement of the Lord your God.
4 Karon gihatagan ni Yahweh nga inyong Dios ug kapahulayan ang inyong mga kaigsoonan, sama sa iyang gisaad kanila. Busa balik kamo ngadto sa inyong mga tolda sa yuta nga inyong gipanag-iyahan, nga gihatag kaninyo ni Moises nga alagad ni Yahweh sa tabok sa Jordan.
And nowe the Lord hath giuen rest vnto your brethren as he promised them: therefore nowe returne ye and goe to your tentes, to the land of your possession, which Moses the seruant of the Lord hath giuen you beyond Iorden.
5 Pagbantay lamang gayod sa pagtuman sa mga kasugoan ug balaod nga gisugo kaninyo ni Moises nga alagad ni Yahweh, sa paghigugma kang Yahweh nga inyong Dios, sa paglakaw diha sa iyang mga dalan, sa pagtipig sa iyang mga kasugoan, sa pagpakighiusa ug pagsimba kaniya sa bug-os ninyong kasingkasing ug sa tibuok ninyong kalag.”
But take diligent heede, to doe the commandement and Lawe, which Moses the seruant of the Lord commanded you: that is, that ye loue the Lord your God, and walke in all his wayes, and keepe his commandements, and cleaue vnto him, and serue him with all your heart and with all your soule.
6 Busa gipanalanginan sila ni Josue ug gipalakaw sila, ug unya namalik sila sa ilang mga tolda.
So Ioshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went vnto their tents.
7 Karon ngadto sa katunga sa tribo ni Manases, gihatagan sila ni Moises ug panulondon sa Basan, apan ngadto sa katunga, gihatagan sila ni Josue ug panulondon tapad sa ilang mga kaigsoonan sa yuta sa kasadpan sa Jordan. Gipauli sila ni Josue ngadto sa ilang mga tolda; gipanalanginan niya sila
Nowe vnto one halfe of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had giuen a possession in Bashan: and vnto the other halfe thereof gaue Ioshua among their brethren on this side Iorden Westwarde: therefore when Ioshua sent them away vnto their tents, and blessed them,
8 ug miingon kanila, “Balik sa inyong mga tolda uban sa daghan kaayo nga salapi, ug sa daghan mga binuhing mananap, ug uban sa plata ug bulawan, ug uban sa tumbaga ug puthaw, ug uban sa daghang mga bisti. Bahina uban sa inyong mga kaigsoonan ang mga inilog ninyo gikan sa inyong mga kaaway.”
Thus he spake vnto them, saying, Returne with much riches vnto your tents, and with a great multitude of cattell, with siluer and with golde, with brasse and with yron, and with great abundance of rayment: deuide the spoyle of your enemies with your brethren.
9 Busa ang mga kaliwat ni Reuben, mga kaliwat ni Gad, ug katunga sa tribo ni Manases namauli sa ilang mga panimalay, gibiyaan ang katawhan sa Israel didto sa Shilo, nga anaa sa yuta sa Canaan. Mibiya sila aron moadto sa rehiyon sa Gilead, ngadto sa ilang kaugalingong yuta, nga ilang gipanag-iyahan, ingon nga pagtuman sa kasugoan ni Yahweh, pinaagi sa kamot ni Moises.
So the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and halfe the tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel from Shiloh (which is in the land of Canaan) to goe vnto the countrey of Gilead to the land of their possession, which they had obteyned, according to ye word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
10 Sa dihang miabot sila sa Jordan nga anaa sa yuta sa Canaan, ang mga kaliwat ni Reuben ug ang kaliwat ni Gad ug ang katunga sa tribo ni Manases nagtukod ug halaran tapad sa Jordan, usa ka dako kaayo ug inila nga halaran.
And when they came vnto the borders of Iorden (which are in the land of Canaan) then the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and the halfe tribe of Manasseh, built there an altar by Iorden, a great altar to see to.
11 Nadungog kini sa katawhan sa Israel ug miingon, “Tan-awa! Ang katawhan ni Reuben, Gad, ug ang katunga sa tribo ni Manases nagtukod ug halaran atubangan sa yuta sa Canaan, didto sa Gelilot, sa rehiyon duol sa Jordan, sa dapit nga nahisakop sa katawhan sa Israel.”
When the children of Israel heard say, Beholde, the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and the halfe tribe of Manasseh haue built an altar in the forefront of the lande of Canaan vpon the borders of Iorden at the passage of the children of Israel:
12 Sa dihang nadungog kini sa katawhan sa Israel, nagtigom ang tibuok katawhan sa Israel didto sa Shilo aron sa pagtungas ug sa pagpakiggubat kanila.
When the children of Israel heard it, then the whole Congregation of the children of Israel gathered them together at Shiloh to goe vp to warre against them.
13 Unya nagpadala ug mensahero ang katawhan sa Israel ngadto sa mga kaliwat ni Reuben, sa kaliwat ni Gad, ug sa katunga sa tribo ni Manases, sa yuta sa Gilead. Gipadala usab nila si Pinehas ang anak nga lalaki ni Eleazar nga pari,
Then the children of Israel sent vnto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to ye halfe tribe of Manasseh into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar the Priest,
14 ug uban kaniya ang napulo ka mga pangulo, usa ka tawo gikan sa kaliwat nga mga pamilya sa Israel, ug ang matag-usa kanila mao ang pangulo sa banay taliwala sa katawhan sa Israel.
And with him ten princes, of euery chiefe house a prince, according to all the tribes of Israel: for euery one was chiefe of their fathers housholde among the thousands of Israel.
15 Miadto sila sa mga katawhan ni Reuben, ni Gad, ug sa katunga sa tribo ni Manases, sa yuta sa Gilead, ug misulti sila ngadto kanila:
So they went vnto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the halfe tribe of Manasseh, vnto the land of Gilead, and spake with them, saying,
16 “Miingon ang tibuok panagtigom ni Yahweh niini, 'Unsa man kining dili pagkamatinud-anon nga inyong gibuhat batok sa Dios sa Israel, sa pagtalikod karong adlawa sa pagsunod kang Yahweh pinaagi sa pagtukod ug halaran alang sa inyong kaugalingon ingon nga pagsupak batok kang Yahweh?
Thus saith the whole congregation of the Lord, What transgression is this that ye haue transgressed against the God of Israel, to turne away this day from the Lord, in that ye haue built you an altar for to rebell this day against the Lord?
17 Dili pa ba igo alang kanato ang atong sala didto sa Peor? Ug karon wala pa gani nato nahinloan ang atong mga kaugalingon gikan niini. Kay tungod niadto nga sala miabot ang hampak sa panagtigom ni Yahweh.
Haue we too litle for the wickednesse of Peor, whereof we are not clensed vnto this day, though a plague came vpon the Congregation of the Lord?
18 Kinahanglan ba nga motalikod usab kamo sa pagsunod kang Yahweh karong adlawa? Kung mosupak usab kamo kang Yahweh karong adlawa, masuko siya sa tibuok panagtigom sa Israel ugma.
Ye also are turned away this day from the Lord: and seeing ye rebell to day against ye Lord, euen to morowe he will be wroth with all the Congregation of Israel.
19 Kung mahugawan ang yuta nga inyong gipanag-iyahan, kinahanglan mosaylo kamo sa yuta nga gitukoran sa tabernakulo ni Yahweh ug pagkuha alang sa inyong kaugalingon ug kabahinan nga among gipanag-iyahan. Ayaw lamang pagsupak kang Yahweh, o pagsupak batok kanamo pinaagi sa pagtukod ug halaran alang sa inyong kaugalingon gawas sa halaran ni Yahweh nga atong Dios.
Notwithstanding if the land of your possession be vncleane, come ye ouer vnto the land of the possession of the Lord, wherein the Lordes Tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among vs: but rebell not against the Lord, nor rebell not against vs in building you an altar, beside the altar of the Lord our God.
20 Dili ba si Acan nga anak nga lalaki ni Zera, miguba man sa pagtuo mahitungod sa mga butang nga gigahin alang sa Dios? Ug dili ba kapungot ang miabot sa katawhan sa Israel? Kanang tawhana wala namatay nga nag-inusara alang sa iyang sala.'”
Did not Achan ye sonne of Zerah trespasse grieuously in the execrable thing, and wrath fell on all the Congregation of Israel? and this man alone perished not in his wickednesse.
21 Unya ang mga tribo ni Reuben, ni Gad, ug ang katunga sa tribo ni Manases mitubag sa mga pangulo sa kabanayan sa Israel:
Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad, and halfe the tribe of Manasseh answered, and saide vnto the heads ouer the thousands of Israel,
22 “Ang Makagagahom, ang Dios, nga si Yahweh! Ang Makagagahom, ang Dios, si Yahweh! —Nasayod siya, ug tugoti nga masayod usab ang Israel! Kung pagsupak kini o pagsalikway sa pagtuo batok kang Yahweh, ayaw kamig palingkawasa karong adlawa
The Lord God of gods, the Lord God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel himselfe shall know: if by rebellion, or by transgression against ye Lord we haue done it, saue thou vs not this day.
23 tungod sa pagtukod ug halaran aron sa pagtalikod gikan sa pagsunod kang Yahweh. Kung gitukod namo kana nga halaran aron sa paghalad niini ug halad nga sinunog, mga halad nga trigo, o halad sa pakigdait, hinaot nga pabayron kami ni Yahweh alang niini.
If we haue built vs an altar to returne away from the Lord, either to offer thereon burnt offering, or meate offering, or to offer peace offerings thereon, let the Lord himselfe require it:
24 Wala! Gibuhat namo kini tungod sa kahadlok nga sa umaabot nga panahon tingalig moingon ang inyong mga anak sa among mga anak, 'Unsa may labot ninyo kang Yahweh, nga Dios sa Israel?
And if we haue not rather done it for feare of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might say vnto our children, What haue ye to doe with the Lord God of Israel?
25 Kay gihimo ni Yahweh nga utlanan ang Jordan taliwala kaninyo ug kanamo. Kamo nga mga katawhan ni Reuben ug katawhan ni Gad, wala kamoy labot kang Yahweh.' Kay tingalig paundangon sa inyong mga anak ang among mga anak sa pagsimba kang Yahweh.
For the Lord hath made Iorden a border betweene vs and you, ye children of Reuben, and of Gad: therefore ye haue no part in the Lord: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the Lord.
26 Busa miingon kami, 'Magtukod kita ug halaran, dili alang sa mga halad sinunog o alang sa mga sakripisyo,
Therefore we said, We will nowe go about to make vs an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice,
27 apan aron mahimong saksi taliwala kaninyo ug kanamo, ug taliwala sa atong mga kaliwatan, nga among buhaton ang pag-alagad kang Yahweh sa iyang atubangan, uban sa among mga halad sinunog ug sa among mga sakripisyo ug sa among mga halad sa pakigdait, aron ang inyong mga anak dili moingon sa among mga anak sa umaabot nga panahon, “Wala kamoy bahin kang Yahweh.”'
But it shall be a witnesse betweene vs and you, and betweene our generations after vs, to execute the seruice of the Lord before him in our burnt offerings, and in our sacrifices, and in our peace offerings, and that your children should not say to our children in time to come, Ye haue no part in the Lord.
28 Busa miingon kami, “Kung mao kini ang isulti kanamo o sa among mga kaliwatan sa umaabot nga panahon, moingon kami, “Tan-awa! Mao kini ang kopya sa halaran ni Yahweh, nga gihimo sa among mga katigulangan, dili alang sa mga halad sinunog, ni alang sa mga sakripisyo, apan ingon nga saksi taliwala kaninyo ug kanamo.”
Therefore said we, If so be that they should so say to vs or to our generations in time to come, then will we answere, Beholde the facion of the altar of the Lord, which our fathers made, not for burnt offering nor for sacrifice, but it is a witnesse betweene vs and you.
29 Hinaot nga mahilayo gikan kanamo nga mosupak kami kang Yahweh, ug motalikod gikan sa pagsunod kaniya karong adlawa pinaagi sa pagtukod ug halaran alang sa halad nga sinunog, alang sa halad nga trigo, o alang sa sakripisyo, gawas sa halaran ni Yahweh nga atong Dios nga anaa sa atubangan sa iyang tabernakulo.'”
God forbid, that we should rebell against the Lord, and turne this day away from the Lord to builde an altar for burnt offering, or for meate offering, or for sacrifice, saue the altar of the Lord our God, that is before his Tabernacle.
30 Sa dihang nadungog ni Pinehas nga pari ug sa mga pangulo sa katawhan, nga mao ang mga pangulo sa kabanayan sa Israel nga uban kaniya, ang mga pulong nga gisulti sa katawhan ni Reuben, ni Gad, ug ni Manases, nga maayo kini sa ilang panan-aw.
And when Phinehas the Priest, and the princes of the Congregation and heads ouer the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the wordes, that the children of Reuben, and children of Gad, and the children of Manasseh spake, they were well content.
31 Miingon si Pinehas nga anak ni Eleazar nga pari ngadto sa katawhan ni Reuben, ni Gad, ug ni Manases, “Karong adlawa nasayod kami nga anaa si Yahweh sa atong taliwala, tungod kay wala ninyo gibuhat ang pagsalikway sa pagtuo batok kaniya. Karon giluwas ninyo ang katawhan sa Israel gikan sa kamot ni Yahweh.”
And Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar the Priest said vnto the children of Reuben and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceiue, that the Lord is among vs, because ye haue not done this trespasse against the Lord: nowe ye haue deliuered the children of Israel out of the hand of the Lord.
32 Unya si Pinehas nga anak ni Eleazar nga pari, ug ang mga pangulo mibalik gikan sa mga kaliwat ni Reuben ug kaliwat ni Gad, gikan sa yuta sa Gilead, balik ngadto sa yuta sa Canaan, ngadto sa katawhan sa Israel, ug misulti ngadto kanila.
Then Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar the Priest with the princes returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, vnto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them answere.
33 Ang ilang balita maayo sa panan-aw sa katawhan sa Israel. Gidayeg sa katawhan sa Israel ang Dios ug wala na magsulti mahitungod sa pagpakiggubat sa mga kaliwat ni Reuben ug sa kaliwat ni Gad, aron sa pagguba sa yuta nga ilang nahimutangan.
And the saying pleased the children of Israel: and the children of Israel blessed God, and minded not to goe against them in battell, for to destroy the land, wherein the children of Reuben, and Gad dwelt.
34 Ginganlan sa mga kaliwat ni Reuben ug sa mga kaliwat ni Gad ang halaran ug “Saksi,” kay miingon sila, “Mao kini ang saksi tali kanato nga si Yahweh mao ang Dios.”
Then the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: for it shall be a witnesse betweene vs, that the Lord is God.
