Josue 16
1 Ang gigahin nga yuta alang sa tribo ni Jose nagsugod gikan sa Jordan paingon sa Jerico, sidlakan nga bahin sa mga tuboran sa Jerico, ngadto sa kamingawan, patungas gikan sa Jerico latas sa kabungtoran sa Betel.
And the lot came out for the sons of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to Bethel.
2 Unya gikan sa Betel paingon ngadto sa Luz ug mipadayon ngadto sa Atarot, nga yutang gipanag-iyahan sa Arkihanon.
And it went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth,
3 Unya palugsong kini paingon sa kasadpan sa yutang gipanag-iyahan sa Japlitanon, hangtod sa yutang gipanag-iyahan sa ubos nga bahin sa Bet Horon, ug unya ngadto sa Geser; dagat ang kataposan niini.
and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth-horon the nether, even to Gezer. And the goings out of it were at the sea.
4 Sa niini nga paagi ang mga tribo ni Jose, Manases ug Efraim nakadawat sa ilang panulondon.
And the sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5 Ang yuta nga gipanag-iyahan sa tribo ni Efraim nga gigahin ngadto sa ilang kabanayan mao ang mga mosunod: ang utlanan sa ilang panulondon sa sidlakan gikan sa Atarot Adar ingon kalayo sa Ibabaw nga Bahin sa Bet Horon,
And the border of the sons of Ephraim according to their families was thus: the border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth-addar, to Beth-horon the upper,
6 ug gikan didto mipadayon kini ngadto sa dagat. Gikan sa Micmetat sa amihanang bahin miliko kini sa sidlakan atubangan sa Taanat Silo ug mipadayon lapas pa niini ngadto sa sidlakan sa Janoa.
and the border went out westward at Michmethath on the north, and the border turned about eastward to Taanath-shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah,
7 Unya milugsong kini gikan sa Janoa paingon sa Atarot ug sa Naara, ug unya sangko sa Jerico, Jordan ang kataposan niini.
and it went down from Janoah to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
8 Gikan sa Tapua ang utlanan paingon sa kasadpang bahin ngadto sa sapa sa Kana ug dagat ang kataposan niini. Mao kini ang panulondon sa tribo ni Efraim, gigahin ngadto sa ilang kabanayan,
From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah. And the goings out of it were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim according to their families,
9 uban sa mga siyudad nga gipili alang sa tribo ni Efraim sulod sa panulondon sa tribo ni Manases—ang tanan nga siyudad, ingon man usab ang kabaryohan niini.
together with the cities which were set apart for the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10 Wala nila napahawa ang mga Canaanhon nga nagpuyo sa Geser, mao nga ang mga Canaanhon nagpuyo sulod ni Efraim hangtod karong adlawa, apan kining mga tawhana gipugos sa pagtrabaho.
And they did not drive out the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do task work.
