Jeremias 52
1 Nagsugod sa paghari si Zedekia sa dihang nagpangidaron siya ug 21 ka tuig; naghari siya sa Jerusalem sulod sa napulo ug usa ka tuig. Ang ngalan sa iyang inahan mao si Hamutal; anak siya nga babaye ni Jeremias nga taga-Libna.
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king; he was king for eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
2 Gibuhat niya ang daotan sa panan-aw ni Yahweh; gibuhat niya ang tanang butang nga gibuhat ni Jehoyakim.
And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as Jehoiakim had done.
3 Tungod sa kasuko ni Yahweh, nahitabo kining tanan nga mga panghitabo sa Jerusalem ug sa Juda, hangtod nga napahawa niya sila gikan sa iyang atubangan. Unya nakigbatok si Zedekia tali sa hari sa Babilonia.
And because of the wrath of the Lord this came about in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had sent them away from before him: and Zedekiah took up arms against the king of Babylon.
4 Nahitabo nga sa ikasiyam nga tuig sa paghari ni Haring Zedekia, sa ikanapulo nga bulan, ug sa ikanapulo nga adlaw niana nga bulan, miabot si Nebucadnezar, nga hari sa Babilonia, uban sa iyang mga kasundalohan batok sa Jerusalem. Nagkampo sila sa atbang niini, ug nagtukod sila ug mga salipdanan nga hinimo sa yuta sa palibot niini.
And in the ninth year of his rule, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came against Jerusalem with all his army and took up his position before it, building earthworks all round it.
5 Mao nga napalibotan ang siyudad hangtod sa ikanapulo ug usa ka tuig sa paghari ni Haring Zedekia.
So the town was shut in by their forces till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
6 Sa ikaupat nga bulan, sa ikasiyam nga adlaw niana nga tuig, hilabihan ang kagutom diha sa siyudad nga wala na gayoy pagkaon alang sa katawhan sa yuta.
In the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the store of food in the town was almost gone, so that there was no food for the people of the land.
7 Unya nagun-ob ang siyudad, ug nangikyas ang tanang mga manggugubat panahon sa kagabhion ug nanggawas sa siyudad pinaagi sa dalan sa ganghaan nga anaa sa tungatunga sa duha ka paril, tapad sa tanaman sa hari, bisan tuod napalibotan na sa mga Caldeanhon ang siyudad. Busa miadto sila paingon sa Araba.
Then an opening was made in the wall of the town, and all the men of war went in flight out of the town by night through the doorway between the two walls which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldaeans were stationed round the town: ) and they went by the way of the Arabah.
8 Apan gigukod sa kasundalohan sa mga Caldeanhon ang hari ug naapsan si Zedekia didto sa kapatagan sa walog sa Suba sa Jordan nga duol sa Jerico. Nagkatibulaag ang tanan niyang mga kasundalohan palayo kaniya.
And the Chaldaean army went after King Zedekiah and overtook him on the other side of Jericho, and all his army went in flight from him in every direction.
9 Gidakop nila ang hari ug gidala siya ngadto sa hari sa Babilonia didto sa Ribla sa yuta sa Hamat, nga diin gipahamtang sa hari sa Babilonia ang hukom ngadto kaniya.
Then they made the king a prisoner and took him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath to be judged.
10 Gipangpatay sa hari ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Zedekia diha sa iyang atubangan, ug gipangpatay usab niya ang tanan nga mga pangulo sa Juda didto sa Ribla.
And the king of Babylon put the sons of Zedekiah to death before his eyes: and he put to death all the rulers of Judah in Riblah.
11 Unya gilugit niya ang mga mata ni Zedekia, ug gigapos siya sa tumbaga nga mga kadina, ug gidala siya ngadto sa Babilonia. Gibilanggo siya sa hari sa Babilonia hangtod sa adlaw sa iyang kamatayon.
And he put out Zedekiah's eyes; and the king of Babylon, chaining him in iron bands, took him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
12 Karon sa ikalima nga bulan, sa ikanapulo nga adlaw niana nga bulan, nga diin mao kana ang ika-19 nga tuig sa paghari ni Haring Nebucadnezar, nga hari sa Babilonia, miabot si Nebuzaradan sa Jerusalem. Siya ang pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod sa hari ug usa ka sulugoon sa hari sa Babilonia.
Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, in the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, a servant of the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem.
13 Gisunog niya ang balay ni Yahweh, ang palasyo sa hari, ug ang tanan nga mga balay sa Jerusalem; gisunog usab niya ang matag mahinungdanon nga mga dagkong balay diha sa siyudad.
And he had the house of the Lord and the king's house and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned with fire:
14 Gigun-ob sa tanang kasundalohan sa Babilonia kauban ang pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod, ang mga paril nga nakapalibot sa Jerusalem.
And the walls round Jerusalem were broken down by the Chaldaean army which was with the captain.
15 Alang sa tanan nga labing kabos nga katawhan, ang tanang mga tawo nga nahibilin sa siyudad, kadtong mga miikyas padulong sa hari sa Babilonia, ug ang tanan nga mga magkukulit—gidala ni Nebuzaradan, nga pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod, ang pipila kanila ngadto sa pagkabinihag.
Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners the rest of the people who were still in the town, and those who had given themselves up to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the workmen.
16 Apan gibilin ni Nebuzaradan, nga pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod, ang pipila sa mga labing kabos niana nga yuta aron sa pagtrabaho sa mga kaparasan ug sa mga kaumahan.
But Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, let the poorest of the land go on living there, to take care of the vines and the fields.
17 Alang sa tumbaga nga mga haligi nga nahisakop sa balay ni Yahweh, ug sa mga tungtonganan ug lampara ug sa tangke nga tumbaga nga anaa sa balay ni Yahweh, gipulpog kini sa mga Caldeanhon ug gidala ang tanan nga mga tumbaga ngadto sa Babilonia.
And the brass pillars which were in the house of the Lord, and the wheeled bases and the great brass water-vessel in the house of the Lord, were broken up by the Chaldaeans, who took all the brass away to Babylon.
18 Ang mga kulon, mga pala, mga igpapalong sa lampara, mga panaksan, ug ang tanang tumbaga nga kahimanan nga ginagamit sa pagpamuhat sa mga pari diha sa templo—gikuha kining tanan sa mga Caldeanhon.
And the pots and the spades and the scissors for the lights and the spoons, and all the brass vessels used in the Lord's house, they took away.
19 Ang mga dagko nga panaksan ug ang mga sunoganan sa insenso, mga panaksan, mga kulon, mga tungtongan sa lampara, mga kawa, ug mga dagko nga panaksan nga hinimo sa bulawan, ug kadtong hinimo sa plata—gidala usab kini sa pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod sa hari.
And the cups and the fire-trays and the basins and the pots and the supports for the lights and the spoons and the wide basins; the gold of the gold vessels, and the silver of the silver vessels, the captain of the armed men took away.
20 Ang duha ka mga haligi, ang tangke nga tumbaga ug ang napulo ug duha ka mga torong baka nga tumbaga nga anaa ilalom sa tungtonganan, mga butang nga gihimo ni Solomon alang sa balay ni Yahweh, nga hinimo sa tumbaga nga hilabihan ka bug-at.
The two pillars, the great water-vessel, and the twelve brass oxen which were under it, and the ten wheeled bases, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
21 Anaa sa mga napulo ug walo ka cubit ang gitas-on sa mga haligi, ug ang sukod sa matag palibot niini anaa sa mga napulo ug duha ka cubit. Anaa sa upat ka mga tudlo ang gibagaon niini ug wala kini sulod.
And as for the pillars, one pillar was eighteen cubits high, and twelve cubits measured all round, and it was as thick as a man's hand: it was hollow.
22 Anaa sa taas niini ang ulohan sa tumbaga. Adunay gitas-on nga lima ka cubit ang ulohan niini, ang tanang palibot niini adunay kinulit nga mga dayandayan ug porma nga bunga sa kahoy nga granada. Hinimo kining tanan sa tumbaga. Sama lang nga gikulit sa una nga haligi ang lain nga haligi ug ang mga porma nga bunga sa kahoy nga granada niini.
And there was a crown of brass on it: the crown was five cubits high, circled with a network and apples all of brass; and the second pillar had the same.
23 Adunay 96 ka porma sa bunga sa kahoy nga granada nga nakapalibot sa ulohan nga bahin ug adunay nakapalibot nga 100 ka mga porma sa bunga sa kahoy nga granada ibabaw sa kinulit nga mga dayandayan.
There were ninety-six apples on the outside; the number of apples all round the network was a hundred.
24 Gikuha sa pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod ang binilanggo nga si Seraya, nga labaw nga pari, uban ni Zefania, nga ikaduhang pari, ug ang tulo ka mga tigbantay sa ganghaan.
And the captain of the armed men took Seraiah, the chief priest, and Zephaniah, the second priest, and the three door-keepers;
25 Gikan sa siyudad gibilanggo niya ang gibihag nga opisyal nga nagadumala sa mga sundalo, ug ang pito sa mga kalalakin-an nga tigtambag sa hari, nga anaa pa gihapon sa siyudad. Gibihag usab niya ang opisyal sa sundalo sa hari nga nagapili ug mga kalalakin-an nga mahimong sundalo, uban sa 60 ka mga mahinungdanon nga mga kalalakin-an gikan sa yuta nga anaa sa siyudad.
And from the town he took the unsexed servant who was over the men of war, and seven of the king's near friends who were in the town, and the scribe of the captain of the army, who was responsible for getting the people of the land together in military order, and sixty men of the people of the land who were in the town.
26 Unya gikuha sila ni Nebuzaradan, nga pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod, ug gidala sila ngadto sa hari sa Babilonia ngadto sa Ribla.
These Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took with him to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
27 Gipamatay sila sa hari sa Babilonia didto sa Ribla sa yuta sa Hamat. Niini nga paagi, migawas ang Juda gikan sa iyang yuta ngadto sa pagkabinihag.
And the king of Babylon put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was taken prisoner away from his land.
28 Mao kini ang mga katawhan nga gibihag ni Nebucadnezar: sa ikapito nga tuig, 3, 023 ka mga taga-Juda.
These are the people whom Nebuchadrezzar took away prisoner: in the seventh year, three thousand and twenty-three Jews:
29 Sa ika-18 ka tuig nga paghari ni Nebucadnezar, gibihag niya ang 832 ka mga katawhan gikan sa Jerusalem.
And in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he took away as prisoners from Jerusalem eight hundred and thirty-two persons:
30 Sa ika-23 ka tuig nga paghari ni Nebucadnezar, gibihag ni Nebuzaradan, nga pangulo sa mga tigpanalipod sa hari, ang 745 ka mga tawo sa Juda. Mikabat ug 4, 600 ang tanang katawhan nga nabihag.
In the twenty-third year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners seven hundred and forty-five of the Jews: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
31 Nahitabo nga human sa ika-37 ka tuig nga pagkabihag ni Jehoyakin, nga hari sa Juda, sa ikanapulo ug duha ka bulan, sa ika-25 nga adlaw sa bulan, gibuhian ni Evil Merodac, nga hari sa Babilonia si Jehoyakin nga hari sa Juda gikan sa pagkabinilanggo. Nahitabo kini sa tuig nga nagsugod sa paghari si Evil Merodac.
And in the thirty-seventh year after Jehoiachin, king of Judah, had been taken prisoner, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodach, king of Babylon, in the first year after he became king, took Jehoiachin, king of Judah, out of prison.
32 Malumo siyang nakigsulti kaniya ug gihatagan siya ug lingkoranan nga mas halangdon pa kaysa sa ubang mga hari nga uban kaniya diha sa Babilonia.
And he said kind words to him and put his seat higher than the seats of the other kings who were with him in Babylon.
33 Gihukas ni Evil Merodac ang bisti ni Jehoyakin sa pagkabinilanggo, ug kanunay nga nagakaon si Jehoyakin diha sa lamesa sa hari sa nahibilin nga mga adlaw sa iyang kinabuhi,
And his prison clothing was changed, and he was a guest at the king's table every day for the rest of his life.
34 ug ginahatagan siya kanunay sa iyang matag adlaw nga pagkaon sa nahibiling mga adlaw sa iyang kinabuhi hangtod sa iyang kamatayon.
And for his food, the king gave him a regular amount every day till the day of his death, for the rest of his life.
