Jeremias 44
1 Ang pulong nga miabot kang Jeremias mahitungod sa tanang mga taga-Judea nga namuyo didto sa yuta sa Ehipto, sa mga siyudad sa Migdol, Tapanhes, Memfis, ug sa yuta sa Patros.
The worde that came to Ieremiah concerning all the Iewes, which dwell in the lande of Egypt, and remained at Migdol and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the coutry of Pathros, saying,
2 “Miingon niini si Yahweh, nga labawng makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel: Nakita ninyo ang tanang mga kadaot nga gipahamtang ko sa Jerusalem ug sa tanang mga siyudad sa Juda. Tan-awa, guba kini hangtod karon. Ug wala nay bisan usa nga nagpuyo niini.
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Yee haue seene all the euill that I haue brought vpon Ierusalem, and vpon all the cities of Iudah: and beholde, this day they are desolate, and no man dwelleth therein,
3 Tungod kini sa ilang mga daotang binuhatan nga nakapasuko kanako pinaagi sa pagsunog ug insenso ug pagsimba sa laing mga dios. Mao kini ang mga dios nga wala nila mailhi, o kamo, o sa inyong mga katigulangan.
Because of their wickednes which they haue comitted, to prouoke me to anger in that they went to burne incense, and to serue other gods, who they knew not, neither they nor you nor your fathers.
4 Busa nagpadala ako kanunay sa akong mga alagad nga mga propeta ngadto kanila. Gipadala ko sila aron sa pag-ingon nga 'Undangi na ninyo ang pagbuhat ug mangil-ad nga mga butang nga akong gikasilagan.'
Howbeit I sent vnto you all my seruats the Prophets rising earely, and sending them, saying, Oh doe not this abominable thing that I hate.
5 Apan wala sila namati. Nagdumili sila sa pagtagad ug pagbiya gikan sa ilang pagkadaotan diha sa pagsunog ug insenso sa laing mga dios.
But they would not heare nor incline their eare to turne from their wickednes, and to burne no more incense vnto other gods.
6 Busa gibubo ko ang akong kapungot ug kaligutgot ug nagpasilaob ug kalayo diha sa mga siyudad sa Juda ug sa mga kadalanan sa Jerusalem. Busa nagun-ob ug nalaglag kini hangtod karong adlawa.
Wherefore my wrath, and mine anger was powred foorth and was kindled in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, and they are desolate, and wasted, as appeareth this day.
7 Busa karon, miingon niini, si Yahweh ang Dios nga labawng makagagahom ug ang Dios sa Israel, “Nganong nagbuhat man kamo ug hilabihan kadaotan batok sa inyong kaugalingon? Nganong mibuhat man kamo ug mga butang nga makapapuo kaninyo gikan sa Juda—sa kalalakin-an ug sa kababayen-an, sa mga kabataan ug sa mga masuso? wala gayoy mahibilin diha kaninyo.
Therefore now thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel, Wherfore commit ye this great euill against your soules, to cut off from you man and woman, childe and suckling out of Iudah, and leaue you none to remaine?
8 Gipasuko ninyo ako pinaagi sa inyong pagkadaotan uban sa mga buhat sa inyong mga kamot, pinaagi sa inyong pagsunog ug insenso ngadto sa ubang mga dios diha sa yuta sa Ehipto, nga diin anaa kamo nagpuyo. Miadto kamo didto aron nga malaglag, aron nga matinunglo kamo ug biaybiayon sa tanang kanasoran sa kalibotan.
In that yee prouoke mee vnto wrath with the woorkes of your hands, burning incense vnto other Gods in the lande of Egypt whither yee be gone to dwell: that yee might bring destruction vnto your selues, and that ye might be a curse and a reproch among all nations of the earth.
9 Nakalimot na ba kamo sa kadaotan nga gibuhat sa inyong mga katigulangan ug sa mga hari sa Juda ug sa ilang mga asawa? Nakalimot na ba kamo sa inyong nabuhat nga daotan ug sa inyong mga asawa diha sa yuta sa Juda ug sa kadalanan sa Jerusalem?
Haue yee forgotten the wickednes of your fathers, and the wickednesse of the Kings of Iudah and the wickednesse of their wiues and your owne wickednes and the wickednes of your wiues, which they haue committed in the land of Iudah and in the streetes of Ierusalem?
10 Hangtod karon, wala gihapon sila nagpaubos. Wala nila tahora ang akong mga balaod ni mga kasugoan, ni sa pagtuman niini nga akong gibutang sa ilang atubangan, ug sa ilang mga katigulangan.''
They are not humbled vnto this day, neither haue they feared nor walked in my lawe nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
11 Busa miingon niini, si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel, “Tan-awa, moatubang ako batok kaninyo aron magdala ug kaalaotan ug aron sa paglaglag sa tibuok Juda.
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I will set my face against you to euill and to destroy all Iudah,
12 Kay kuhaon ko ang mga nahibilin sa Juda nga miadto sa yuta sa Ehipto aron sa pagpuyo didto. Buhaton ko kini aron mangalaglag silang tanan didto sa yuta sa Ehipto. Mangamatay sila pinaagi sa espada ug kagutom. Malaglag pinaagi sa espada ug kagutom ang gikan sa labing ubos hangtod sa inila. Mangamatay sila ug himoong kataw-anan, panghimaraotan, biaybiayon ug kalisangan.
And I will take the remnant of Iudah, that haue set their faces to goe into the lande of Egypt there to dwell, and they shall all bee consumed and fall in the lande of Egypt: they shall euen bee consumed by the sworde and by the famine: they shall die from the least vnto the most, by the sworde, and by the famine, and they shall be a detestation and an astonishment and a curse and a reproche.
13 Tungod kay pagasilotan ko ang katawhan nga namuyo sa yuta sa Ehipto, sama nga gisilotan ko ang Jerusalem pinaagi sa espada, kagutom ug hampak.
For I will visite them that dwel in the land of Egypt, as I haue visited Ierusalem, by ye sworde, by the famine, and by the pestilence,
14 Walay makaikyas ni maluwas sa mga nahibilin sa Juda nga namuyo didto sa yuta sa Ehipto ang makabalik pa sa yuta sa Juda, bisan tuod buot nila nga mobalik ug mopuyo didto. Walay makabalik kanila, gawas sa pipila nga makaikyas gikan dinhi.”
So that none of the remnant of Iudah, which are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall escape or remaine, that they shoulde returne into the land of Iudah to the which they haue a desire to returne to dwell there: for none shall returne, but such as shall escape.
15 Unya mitubag kang Jeremias ang tanang kalalakin-an nga nasayod nga nagsunog ug insenso ang ilang mga asawa sa laing dios, ug ang tanang pundok sa kababayen-an, ug ang tanang katawhan nga namuyo sa yuta sa Ehipto didto sa Patros.
Then all the men which knewe that their wiues had burnt incense vnto other gods and all the women that stoode by, a great multitude, euen all the people that dwelt in the lande of Egypt in Pathros, answered Ieremiah, saying,
16 Miingon sila, “Dili kami mamati kanimo—mahitungod sa pulong nga gisulti nimo kanamo sa ngalan ni Yahweh.
The worde that thou hast spoken vnto vs in the Name of the Lord, wee will not heare it of thee,
17 Tungod kay pagabuhaton gayod namo ang tanan namong giingon nga among buhaton—magsunog kami ug insenso alang sa Rayna sa Langit ug magbubo kami ug mga halad nga ilimnon kaniya sama sa among gibuhat, sa among mga katigulangan, sa among mga hari, ug sa among mga pangulo sa mga siyudad sa Juda ug sa kadalanan sa Jerusalem. Unya mapuno kami sa mga pagkaon, magmauswagon, ug dili makasinati ug bisan unsa nga katalagman.
But wee will doe whatsoeuer thing goeth out of our owne mouth, as to burne incense vnto the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, as we haue done, both we and our fathers, our Kings and our princes in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem: for then had wee plentie of vitailes and were well and felt none euill.
18 Sa dihang wala na kami nagbuhat niining mga butanga, ang dili paghalad ug insenso sa Rayna sa Langit ug dili pagbubo ug mga halad nga ilimnon kaniya, nag-antos hinuon kami sa kawalad-on ug nangamatay pinaagi sa espada ug kagutom.''
But since wee left off to burne incense to the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, we haue had scarcenesse of all things, and haue beene consumed by the sworde and by the famine.
19 “Miingon ang mga kababayen-an, “Sa dihang nagahimo kami ug mga halad nga insenso sa Rayna sa Langit ug nagabubo ug mga ilimnon nga halad ngadto kaniya, nisupak ba ang among mga bana sa pagbuhat namo niining mga butanga, sa pagbuhat ug mga keyk nga sama sa iyang panagway ug pagbubo ug mga halad nga ilimnon ngadto kaniya?”
And when we burnt incense to ye Queene of heauen, and powred out drinke offerings vnto her, did wee make her cakes to make her glad, and powre out drinke offerings vnto her without our husbands?
20 Unya miingon si Jeremias sa tanang katawhan—sa kalalakin-an, sa kababayen-an, ug sa tanang katawhan nga mitubag kaniya—nagmantala siya ug miingon,
Then said Ieremiah vnto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had giuen him that answere, saying,
21 Wala ba diay makahinumdom si Yahweh nga nagsunog kamo ug mga insenso sa mga siyudad sa Juda ug sa kadalanan sa Jerusalem—kamo ug ang inyong mga katigulangan, inyong mga hari ug mga pangulo, ug ang tanang katawhan sa maong yuta? Kay nahinumdoman kini ni Yahweh; ug nahunahunaan niya kini.
Did not the Lord remember the incense, that yee burnt in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, both you, and your fathers, your Kinges, and your princes, and the people of the land, and hath he not considered it?
22 Unya wala na siya makaagwanta tungod sa inyong daotan ug mangil-ad nga mga binuhatan. Unya nahimong awaaw ang inyong yuta, makalilisang, ug tinunglo mao nga wala nay namuyo niini ingon man karong adlawa.
So that the Lord could no longer forbeare, because of the wickednes of your inuentions, and because of the abominations, which ye haue committed: therefore is your lande desolate and an astonishment, and a curse and without inhabitant, as appeareth this day.
23 Nahitabo kini nga katalagman batok kaninyo hangtod karong adlawa tungod kay nagsunog kamo ug insenso ug nakasala batok kang Yahweh, ug tungod kay wala kamo namati sa iyang tingog, sa iyang balaod, sa iyang mga mando ug kasugoan sa kasabotan.”
Because ye haue burnt incense and because ye haue sinned against the Lord, and haue not obeyed the voyce of the Lord, nor walked in his Lawe, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies, therefore this plague is come vpon you, as appeareth this day.
24 Unya miingon si Jeremias sa tanang katawhan ug sa tanang mga kababayen-an, “Paminawa ang pulong ni Yahweh, kamong tanang taga-Juda nga anaa sa yuta sa Ehipto.
Moreouer Ieremiah saide vnto all the people and to all the women, Heare the word of the Lord, all Iudah that are in the land of Egypt.
25 Miingon niini si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel, Misulti kamo ug ang inyong mga asawa pinaagi sa inyong mga baba ug nagpatuman niini pinaagi sa inyong mga kamot, miingon kamo, “Tumanon gayod namo ang among mga saad nga magsimba sa Rayna sa Langit, ug magbubo ug mga halad nga ilimnon diha kaniya.” Karon tumana ang inyong mga saad; ug buhata kini. '
Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Ye and your wiues haue both spoken with your mouthes, and fulfilled with your hande, saying, We will performe our vowes that we haue vowed to burne incense to the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings to her: yee will perfourme your vowes and doe the things that yee haue vowed.
26 Busa, Pamatia ang pulong ni Yahweh, kamong tanan nga taga-Juda nga nagpuyo sa yuta sa Ehipto, 'Miingon si Yahweh—tan-awa, gipanumpa ko pinaagi sa akong bantogan nga ngalan. Wala na gayoy kalalakin-an sa Juda didto sa tibuok yuta sa Ehipto ang magsangpit sa akong ngalan pinaagi sa ilang mga baba, kamo nga miingon karon, “Ingon nga buhi ang Ginoo nga si Yahweh.”
Therefore heare the word of the Lord, all Iudah that dwel in the land of Egypt. Beholde, I haue sworne by my great Name, sayeth the Lord, that my Name shall no more be called vpon by the mouth of any man of Iudah, in all the lande of Egypt, saying, The Lord God liueth.
27 Tan-awa, magbantay ako kanila alang sa kaalaotan ug dili sa kaayohan. Mangamatay pinaagi sa espada ug kagutom ang matag tawo sa Juda nga anaa sa yuta sa Ehipto, hangtod nga mahurot sila.
Behold, I wil watch ouer them for euil and not for good, and all men of Iudah that are in the land of Egypt, shalbe consumed by the sword, and by the famine, vntill they be vtterly destroied.
28 Unya mamalik ang mga naluwas sa espada gikan sa yuta sa Ehipto paingon sa yuta sa Juda, ang pipila lamang kanila. Busa masayod ang tanang mga nahibilin sa Juda nga miadto sa yuta sa Ehipto kung kang kinsa ba nga pulong ang tinuod: akoa ba o ilaha.
Yet a small nomber that escape the sworde, shall returne out of the lande of Egypt into the lande of Iudah: and all the remnant of Iudah that are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words shall stad, mine or theirs.
29 Mao kini ang timaan alang kaninyo—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—nga akong buhaton batok kaninyo niining dapita, aron nga masayran ninyo nga ang akong mga pulong mohamtang gayod kaninyo pinaagi sa katalagman.'
And this shall be a signe vnto you, saith the Lord, whe I visit you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for euill.
30 Miingon si Yahweh niini, 'Tan-awa, itugyan ko ang Faraon nga si Hopra nga hari sa Ehipto ngadto sa mga kamot sa iyang mga kaaway ug sa mga kamot sa mga buot mopatay kaniya. Sama kini sa akong pagtugyan kang Zedekia nga hari sa Juda ngadto sa mga kamot ni Nebucadnezar nga hari sa Babilonia, nga kaaway niya nga buot usab mopatay kaniya.'''
Thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, I will giue Pharaoh Hophra King of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seeke his life: as I gaue Zedekiah King of Iudah into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel his enemie, who also sought his life.
