Isaias 7

1 Panahon sa mga adlaw ni Ahaz nga anak nga lalaki ni Jotam nga anak nga lalaki ni Uzia, ang hari sa Juda, mitungas ngadto sa Jerusalem si Rezin ang hari sa Aram, ug si Peka nga anak nga lalaki ni Remalia, ang hari sa Israel aron sa pagpakiggubat batok niini, apan dili sila makadaog batok niini.

And in the dayes of Ahaz, the sonne of Iotham, the sonne of Vzziah king of Iudah, Rezin the King of Aram came vp, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, to Ierusalem to fight against it, but he could not ouercome it.

2 Gisugilon kini sa panimalay ni David nga ang Aram nakig-abin sa Efraim. Nagkurog ang iyang kasingkasing, ug ang kasingkasing sa iyang katawhan, sama sa mga kahoy sa kalasangan nga giuyog sa hangin.

And it was tolde the house of Dauid, saying, Aram is ioyned with Ephraim: therefore his heart was moued, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest are moued by the winde.

3 Unya miingon si Yahweh ngadto kang Isaias, “Lakaw uban sa imong anak nga lalaki nga si Shear Jashub aron tagboon si Ahaz sa tumoy sa agianan sa tubig sa ibabaw nga dapit sa linaw, sa dalan paingon sa Dapit nga Labhanan.

Then sayde the Lord vnto Isaiah, Goe foorth nowe to meete Ahaz (thou and Sheariashub thy sonne) at the ende of the conduit of the vpper poole, in the path of the fullers fielde,

4 Sultihi siya, 'Pag-amping, pagpabilin nga malinawon, ayaw kahadlok o kakulba niining duha ka sanga nga nagaaso apan walay kalayo, pinaagi sa hilabihan nga kasuko ni Rezin ug sa Aram, ug ni Peka nga anak nga lalaki ni Remalia.

And say vnto him, Take heede, and be still: feare not, neither be faint hearted for the two tailes of these smoking firebrands, for the furious wrath of Rezin and of Aram, and of Remaliahs sonne:

5 Naglaraw ang Aram, ang Efraim, ug ang anak nga lalaki ni Remalia ug daotan batok kanimo; miingon sila,

Because Aram hath taken wicked counsell against thee, and Ephraim, and Remaliahs sonne, saying,

6 “Sulongon nato ang Juda ug lisangon siya, ug bungkagon nato siya ug ipahimutang ang atong hari didto, ang anak nga lalaki ni Tabeel.”

Let vs goe vp against Iudah, and let vs waken them vp, and make a breach therein for vs, and set a King in the mids thereof, euen the sonne of Tabeal.

7 Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo, “Dili kini mahimo; dili kini mahitabo,

Thus sayth the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it be.

8 tungod kay ang pangulo sa Aram mao ang Damascus, ug ang pangulo sa Damascus mao si Rezin. Sulod sa 65 ka mga tuig, malaglag ang Efraim ug dili na kini matawag nga katawhan.

For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin: and within fiue and threescore yeere, Ephraim shalbe destroyed from being a people.

9 Ang pangulo sa Efraim mao ang Samaria, ug ang pangulo sa Samaria mao ang anak nga lalaki ni Remalia. Kung dili kamo magpabiling lig-on sa inyong pagtuo, dili gayod kamo magpabilin nga luwas.”'”

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliahs sonne. If ye beleeue not, surely ye shall not be established.

10 Nakigsulti pagbalik ang Ginoo kang Ahaz,

And the Lord spake againe vnto Ahaz, saying,

11 “Pangayo ug timailhan kang Yahweh nga imong Dios; pangayo niini diha sa kinahiladman o diha sa ibabaw sa kahitas-an.” (Sheol h7585)

Aske a signe for thee of the Lord thy God: aske it, either in the depth beneath or in the height aboue. (Sheol h7585)

12 Apan miingon si Ahaz, “Dili ako mangayo, ni sulayan si Yahweh.”

But Ahaz sayd, I wil not aske, neither will I tempt the Lord.

13 Busa mitubag si Isaias, “Paminaw, panimalay ni David. Dili pa ba igo kaninyo nga katawhan ang pagsulay sa pailob sa katawhan? Sulayan ba usab ninyo ang pailob sa akong Dios?

Then he sayd, Heare you nowe, O house of Dauid, Is it a small thing for you to grieue men, that ye will also grieue my God?

14 Busa ang Ginoo mohatag kaninyo nga katawhan sa timailhan; tan-awa, magmabdos ang batan-ong babaye, manganak ug usa ka lalaki, ug pagatawgon ang iyang ngalan nga Immanuel.

Therefore the Lord himselfe will giue you a signe. Beholde, the virgine shall conceiue and beare a sonne, and she shall call his name Immanu-el.

15 Magakaon siya ug keso ug dugos sa dihang makabalo na siya sa pagdumili sa daotan ug pagpili sa maayo.

Butter and hony shall he eate, till he haue knowledge to refuse the euill, and to chuse the good.

16 Kay sa dili pa mahibalo ang bata sa pagdumili sa daotan ug sa pagpili sa maayo, mamingaw ug mabiyaan na ang yuta sa duha ka mga hari nga imong gikahadlokan.

For afore the childe shall haue knowledge to eschew the euill, and to chuse the good, the land, that thou abhorrest, shalbe forsaken of both her Kings.

17 Pagadad-on ni Yahweh kanimo, sa imong katawhan, ug sa balay sa imong amahan ang mga adlaw nga walay sama kaniadto sanglit mibulag ang Efraim gikan sa Juda— pagadad-on niya kanimo ang hari sa Asiria.”

The Lord shall bring vpon thee, and vpon thy people, and vpon thy fathers house (the dayes that haue not come from the day that Ephraim departed from Iudah) euen the King of Asshur.

18 Nianang panahona, motaghoy si Yahweh sa langaw nga gikan sa layong mga sapa sa Ehipto, ug alang sa putyokan nga gikan sa yuta sa Asiria.

And in that day shall the Lord hisse for the flie that is at the vttermost part of the floods of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the lande of Asshur,

19 Manganhi silang tanan ug mamuyo sa mga lalom nga lugot, ngadto sa mga bangag sa dagkong mga bato, sa tanang sampinitan, ug sa tanang sibsibanan.

And they shall come and shall light all in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rockes, and vpon all thorny places, and vpon all bushy places.

20 Nianang panahona kiskisan sa Ginoo pinaagi sa labaha ang mga buhok sa ulo ug sa paa nga giabangan unahan sa Suba sa Eufrates—ang hari sa Asiria; pagakiskisan usab niini ang bangas.

In that day shall the Lord shaue with a rasor that is hired, euen by them beyond the Riuer, by the King of Asshur, the head and the heare of the feete, and it shall consume the beard.

21 Nianang adlawa, magbuhi ang usa ka tawo ug nating baka ug duha ka mga karnero,

And in the same day shall a man nourish a yong kow, and two sheepe.

22 ug tungod sa kadaghan sa gatas nga ilang mahatag, mokaon siya ug keso, kay ang ang tanang nahibilin sa yuta makakaon sa keso ug dugos.

And for the abundance of milke, that they shall giue, hee shall eate butter: for butter and hony shall euery one eate, which is left within the land.

23 Nianang taknaa, ang dapit nga adunay 1, 000 ka parasan nga nagkantidad ug 1, 000 ka mga shekels, walay bisan unsang butang nga maanaa gawas sa mga sampinit ug mga tunok.

And at the same day euery place, wherein shalbe a thousand vines, shalbe at a thousand pieces of siluer: so it shalbe for the briers and for the thornes.

24 Moadto ang kalalakin-an didto aron mangayam gamit ang ilang mga pana, tungod kay ang tanang yuta mahimong sampinitan ug katunokan.

With arrowes and with bowe shall one come thither: because all the land shall be briers and thornes.

25 Magpalayo sila gikan sa tanang kabungtoran nga kanhing tanaman gamit ang bara, gumikan sa kahadlok sa mga sampinit ug tunok; apan mahimo kining sibsibanan sa mga baka ug mga karnero.

But on all the mountaines, which shalbe digged with the mattocke, there shall not come thither the feare of briers and thornes: but they shalbe for the sending out of bullocks, and for the treading of sheepe.
