Isaias 55
1 “Duol, kamong tanan nga giuhaw, duol kamo sa tubig, ug kamo nga walay mga salapi, duol, palit ug kaon! Duol, palit kamo ug bino ug gatas nga walay salapi ug walay kantidad.
Ho, every one of ye that thirsteth, come ye to the water, and he too that hath no money: come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy without money and without price wine and milk.
2 Nganong gastohon man ninyo ang plata sa dili tinapay, ug nganong maghago man kamo sa dili makatagbaw? Paminaw gayod kanako ug kaona kung unsa ang maayo, ug kalipay sa inyong kaugalingong katambok.
Wherefore will ye spend money for what is not bread? and your labor for what satisfieth not? hearken then unto me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Paminaw ug duol kanako! Paminaw, aron mabuhi kamo! Maghimo ako ug walay kataposang kasabotan tali kaninyo: ang akong kasaligan, ang matinud-anon nga gugmang gisaad kang David.
Incline your ear, and come unto me, hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, the promised mercies of David, which are sure.
4 Tan-awa, gibutang ko siya ingon nga saksi sa kanasoran, ingon nga pangulo ug komandante sa katawhan.
Behold, for a lawgiver unto the people have I appointed him, a prince and commander to the people.
5 Tan-awa, tawgon ninyo ang kanasoran nga wala ninyo mailhi; ug modangop kaninyo ang kanasoran nga wala makaila kaninyo tungod kang Yahweh nga inyong Dios, ang Balaan sa Israel, nga maoy nahimaya kaninyo.”
Behold, a nation thou knowest not shalt thou call, and a nation that knew thee not shall run unto thee; for the sake of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, for he hath glorified thee.
6 Pangitaa si Yahweh samtang mahikaplagan pa siya; sangpita siya samtang anaa pa siya sa duol.
Seek ye the Lord, while he may be found, call ye on him, while he is near.
7 Pabiyaa ang daotan sa iyang agianan, ug ang tawo nga makasasala sa iyang hunahuna. Pabalika siya kang Yahweh, ug maluoy siya kaniya, ug sa atong Dios, nga madagayaong mopasaylo kaniya.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of unrighteousness his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him, and unto our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 “Kay ang akong hunahuna dili inyong hunahuna, ni ang inyong pamaagi sa akong pamaagi —mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—
For not my thoughts are your thoughts, and not your ways are my ways, saith the Lord.
9 kay ingon nga ang kalangitan habog kay sa kalibotan, busa ang akong pamaagi mas labaw sa inyong mga pamaagi, ug ang akong hunahuna kay sa inyong hunahuna.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts.
10 Kay ingon nga ang ulan ug niyebe mangahulog gikan sa langit ug dili na kini mobalik hinuon mopatubig kini sa yuta ug makapatubo ug makapaturok ug makahatag kini ug binhi ngadto sa mag-uuma nga maoy nagpugas ug makahatag sa tinapay ngadto sa mga mokaon,
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return not thither, but water the earth, and render it fruitful, and cause it to bring forth plants; and give seed to the sower and bread to him that eateth:
11 busa sama usab sa akong pulong nga migula sa akong baba: dili kini mobalik kanako nga walay kapuslanan, apan matuman ang akong gitinguha, ug magmalamposon kini diin ko kini gipadala.
So shall ever be my word which goeth forth from my mouth, it shall not return unto me without effect; but it accomplisheth what I desire, and it prospereth in that whereto I have sent it.
12 Kay mogula kamong malipayon ug giyahan nga malinawon; mosinggit sa tumang kalipay ang kabukiran ug ang kabungtoran sa inyong atubangan, ug ang tanang kakahoyan sa kaumahan mopakpak sa ilang mga kamot.
For in joy shall ye go out, and in peace shall ye be brought home: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into song, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Imbis ang mga sampinit, motubo ang sipres; ug imbis nga briyer, motubo ang kahoy nga mirto, ug alang kini kang Yahweh, kay ang iyang ngalan, ingon nga timaan sa walay kataposan nga dili gayod mawagtang.”
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir-tree, and instead of the nettle shall come up the myrtle; and it shall be unto the Lord for a name, for a sign of everlasting that shall not be cut off.
