Isaias 46
1 Mihapa sa yuta si Bel, miyukbo si Nebo; gipas-an sa mga mananap ang ilang mga diosdios ug sa mananap nga gibug-atan. Kini nga mga diosdios nga inyong gipas-an usa ka bug-at nga palas-onon alang sa gikapoy nga mga mananap.
Bel is bowed down, Nebo sinketh, their idols are [delivered] unto the beasts, and unto the cattle; those which were once carried by you are now laden up a burden to the weary beasts.
2 Nagdungan sila ug paubos, ug miluhod; dili nila maluwas ang mga larawan, ug nangabihag sila.
They are sunk, they are bowed down together; they could not deliver the burden, but they themselves are gone into captivity.
3 Paminaw kanako, panimalay ni Jacob, kamong tanan nga mga nahibilin sa panimalay ni Israel, nga akong gidala sa wala pa kamo nahimugso, ug gisabak.
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who are borne [by me] from their birth, who are carried from the womb;
4 Bisan pa sa imong pagkatigulang ako mao siya, ug hangtod nga moputi na ang inyong buhok pas-anon ko kamo. Ako ang nagbuhat kaninyo ug dalhon ko kamo; Pas-anon ko kamo ug luwason.
And even unto old age I am the same; and even unto the time of hoary hairs will I bear: l have done it, and I will carry [you]; even I will bear, and deliver you.
5 Kang kinsa man ninyo ako ikatandi? Sa inyong hunahuna kang kinsa man ako ipakasama, aron nga matandi kami?
To whom will ye liken and assimilate me, and compare me, that we may be like?
6 Iyabo sa katawhan ang bulawan gikan sa bag ug magtimbang ug plata sa timbangan. Magkuha sila ug tigpanday sa puthaw, ug himoon niya kini ug mga dios; yukboan ug simbahon nila kini.
[There are those] that lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance; that hire a melter, that he may make of it a god; they [then] bend the knee, yea, they bow themselves down;
7 Gialsa nila kini ug gipas-an; gipahiluna nila kini sa ilang butanganan, ug nagtindog kini sa ilang dapit ug dili mabalhin gikan niini. Naghilak sila niini, apan dili kini makatubag ni makaluwas kang bisan kinsa nga anaa sa kagubot.
They carry him, upon the shoulder they bear him, and set up him in his spot, and he remaineth standing, from his place he doth not move: yea, though one should cry unto him, he cannot answer, out of his trouble he cannot help him.
8 Hunahunaa kining mga butanga; ayaw gayod sila baliwalaa, kamong mga masinupakon!
Remember this, and take courage: take it again to heart, O ye transgressors.
9 Hunahunaa ang bag-o palang nga mga butang, kadtong milabay nga mga panahon, kay ako ang Dios, ug wala nay lain pa, ako ang Dios, ug walay laing sama kanako.
Remember the former things of olden times; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is nothing like me.
10 Gisulti ko ang kataposan gikan sa sinugdanan palang daan, ug ang butang nga wala pa mahitabo; miingon ako, “Mahitabo ang akong laraw, ug buhaton ko ang akong gitinguha.”
Declaring from the beginning the end, and from the earliest days the things that have not yet been done, saying, My counsel shall stand firm, and all my pleasure will I do:
11 Magtawag ako ug mandaragit nga langgam gikan sa sidlakan, ang tawo nga akong gipili nga gikan sa layong dapit; oo, ako ang nagsulti; ako usab nga pagatumanon; aduna akoy katuyoan, buhaton ko usab kini.
Calling from the east the eagle, from a far-off country the man of my counsel; yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also execute it.
12 Paminaw kanako, kamong gahig ulo nga mga tawo, kamong wala nagbuhat ug matarong.
Hearken unto me, ye stout of heart, that are far from righteousness:
13 Ipaduol ko ang akong pagkamatarong; dili na kini layo, ug dili maghulat ang akong kaluwasan; ug hatagan ko ug kaluwasan ang Zion ug ang akong katahom ngadto sa Israel.
I have brought near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will grant unto Zion salvation, unto Israel my glory.
