Isaias 38
1 Niadtong mga adlawa nagsakit si Hezekias ug himalatyon na. Busa miadto kaniya si Isaias nga anak ni Amos, ang propeta, ug miingon kaniya, “Nag-ingon si Yahweh, 'Ipahiluna ang imong panimalay; tungod kay mamatay kana, ug dili na mabuhi.'”
In tho daies Esechie was sijk `til to the deth; and Isaie, the profete, the sone of Amos, entride to hym, and seide to hym, The Lord seith these thingis, Dispose thi hous, for thou schalt die, and thou schalt not lyue.
2 Unya miatubang si Hezekias sa bongbong ug nag-ampo ngadto kang Yahweh.
And Esechie turnede his face to the wal, and preiede the Lord, and seide, Lord, Y biseche;
3 Miingon siya, “Palihog, Yahweh, hinumdomi kung unsa ako nagmatinud-anon sa paglakaw diha kanimo sa tibuok nako nga kasingkasing, ug kung unsa ang maayong mga butang nga akong nabuhat diha sa imong panan-aw.” Unya mihilak ug kusog si Hezekia.
haue thou mynde, Y biseche, hou Y yede bifore thee in treuthe, and in perfit herte, and Y dide that that was good bifore thin iyen. And Ezechye wept with greet wepyng.
4 Unya miabot ang pulong ni Yahweh ngadto kang Isaias, nga nag-ingon
And the word of the Lord was maad to Isaie, and seide,
5 “Lakaw ug ingna si Hezekias, ang pangulo sa akong katawhan, 'Mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh, ang Dios ni David nga imong katigulangan: Nadungog ko ang imong pag-ampo, ug nakita ko ang imong mga luha. Tan-awa, dugangan ko ug kinsi katuig ang imong kinabuhi.
Go thou, and seie to Ezechye, The Lord God of Dauid, thi fadir, seith these thingis, I haue herd thi preier, and Y siy thi teeris. Lo! Y schal adde on thi daies fiftene yeer;
6 Unya luwason ko ikaw ug kining siyudad gikan sa kamot sa hari sa Asiria, ug panalipdan ko kini nga siyudad.
and Y schal delyuere thee and this citee fro the hond of the kyng of Assiriens, and Y schal defende it.
7 Mao kini ang timaan alang kanimo nga gikan kang Yahweh, nga buhaton ko gayod ang akong gisaad.
Forsothe this schal be to thee a signe of the Lord, that the Lord schal do this word, which he spak.
8 Tan-awa, akong paatrason ug napulo ka lakang ang anino nga anaa sa hagdanan ni Ahas.'” Busa miatras ang anino ug napulo ka lakang diha sa hagdanan sumala gayod sa gisulti.
Lo! Y schal make the schadewe of lynes, bi which it yede doun in the orologie of Achas, in the sunne, to turne ayen backward bi ten lynes. And the sunne turnede ayen bi ten lynes, bi degrees bi whiche it hadde go doun.
9 Mao kini ang gisulat nga mga pag-ampo ni Hezekias nga hari sa Juda, sa dihang nasakit siya ug naulian:
The scripture of Ezechie, kyng of Juda, whanne he hadde be sijk, and hadde rekyuered of his sikenesse.
10 “Miingon ako nga hapit sa katunga sa akong kinabuhi moagi gayod sa mga ganghaan sa Sheol; Gipadala ako didto hangtod sa kinatibuk-an sa akong mga tuig. (Sheol h7585)
I seide, in the myddil of my daies Y schal go to the yatis of helle. Y souyte the residue of my yeeris; (Sheol h7585)
11 Nag-ingon ako nga dili ko na gayod makita si Yahweh, si Yahweh diha sa yuta sa mga buhi; dili na gayod ako motutok sa mga tawo o sa tanang lumulopyo sa kalibotan.
Y seide, Y schal not se the Lord God in the lond of lyueris; Y schal no more biholde a man, and a dwellere of reste.
12 Gitanggal ang akong kinabuhi ug gikuha kini gikan kanako sama sa tolda sa magbalantay ug karnero; gilukot ko ang akong kinabuhi sama sa manghahabi; giputol mo ako gikan sa himoanan ug tela; sa tungatunga sa adlaw ug gabii taposon mo ang akong kinabuhi.
My generacioun is takun awei, and is foldid togidere fro me, as the tabernacle of scheepherdis is foldid togidere. Mi lijf is kit doun as of a webbe; he kittide doun me, the while Y was wouun yit. Fro the morewtid `til to the euentid thou schalt ende me;
13 Naghilak ako hangtod sa pagkabuntag; sama sa lion nga mibali sa tanan nako nga mga bukog. Sa tungatunga sa adlaw ug sa kagabhion taposon mo ang akong kinabuhi.
Y hopide til to the morewtid; as a lioun, so he al to-brak alle my boonys. Fro the morewtid til to the euentid thou schalt ende me; as the brid of a swalewe, so Y schal crie;
14 Sama sa sayaw, nagatingog ako; nagtukorok ako sama sa salampati; gikapoy ang akong mga mata sa pagyahat. Ginoo, gidaogdaog ako; tabangi ako.
Y schal bithenke as a culuer. Myn iyen biholdynge an hiy, ben maad feble. Lord, Y suffre violence, answere thou for me; what schal Y seie,
15 Unsa man ang akong isulti? Managsama ang iyang gisulti kanako, ug gibuhat kini; maglakaw ako ug hinay sa tibuok nakong mga tuig tungod kay napuno ako sa hilabihan nga kaguol.
ether what schal answere to me, whanne `I mysilf haue do? Y schal bithenke to thee alle my yeeris, in the bitternisse of my soule.
16 Ginoo, ang mga pag-antos nga imong gipadala makaayo alang kanako; hinaot nga ihatag pagbalik nganhi kanako ang akong kinabuhi; gibalik mo ang akong kinabuhi ug ang akong maayong panglawas.
Lord, if me lyueth so, and the lijf of my spirit is in siche thingis, thou schalt chastise me, and schalt quykene me.
17 Alang kini sa akong kaayohan maong nakasinati ako sa kaguol. Giluwas mo ako gikan sa bung-aw sa kalaglagan; tungod kay imong gilabay ang tanan kong mga sala diha sa imong likod.
Lo! my bitternesse is moost bittir in pees; forsothe thou hast delyuered my soule, that it perischide not; thou hast caste awey bihynde thi bak alle my synnes.
18 Kay dili magpasalamat kanimo ang Seol; dili modayeg kanimo ang kamatayon; kadtong nanaug ngadto sa bung-aw wala naglaom sa imong pagkamasaligan. (Sheol h7585)
For not helle schal knowleche to thee, nethir deth schal herie thee; thei that goon doun in to the lake, schulen not abide thi treuthe. (Sheol h7585)
19 Ang buhi nga tawo, ang buhi nga tawo, mao ang magpasalamat kanimo, sama sa akong gibuhat karong adlawa; ang amahan magasugilon sa ilang mga anak nga kasaligan ka.
A lyuynge man, a lyuynge man, he schal knouleche to thee, as and Y to dai; the fadir schal make knowun thi treuthe to sones.
20 Hapit na ako luwason ni Yahweh, ug magsaulog kita uban ang musika sa tanang mga adlaw sa atong kinabuhi ngadto sa balay ni Yahweh.”
Lord, make thou me saaf, and we schulen synge oure salmes in all the daies of oure lijf in the hous of the Lord.
21 Karon miingon si Isaias, “Pakuhaa sila ug sanga sa igera ug ibutang kini sa hubag, ug mamaayo siya.”
And Ysaie comaundide, that thei schulden take a gobet of figus, and make a plaster on the wounde; and it schulde be heelid.
22 Miingon usab si Hezekias, “Unsa man ang timaan nga moadto ako sa balay ni Yahweh?
And Ezechie seide, What signe schal be, that Y schal stie in to the hous of the Lord?
