Isaias 30
1 Pagkaalaot sa masinupakon nga mga anak,” mao kini ang gipamulong ni Yahweh. “Naglaraw sila, apan wala naggikan kanako; nakig-abin sila sa ubang nga mga nasod, apan wala sila gigiyahan pinaagi sa akong Espiritu, busa nagdugang sila ug sala sa pagpakasala.
Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not from me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
2 Nanggawas sila aron sa paglugsong didto sa Ehipto, apan wala mangayo sa akong giya. Midangop sila sa panalipod gikan sa Faraon ug mipasalipod sa landong sa Ehipto.
That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3 Busa mahimo ninyong kaulawan ang pagpanalipod sa Faraon, ug inyong kaulawan ang dalangpanan sa landong sa Ehipto,
Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
4 bisan anaa ang ilang mga prinsipe sa Zoan, ug miadto ang ilang mga mensahero didto sa Hanes.
For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.
5 Maulawan silang tanan tungod sa katawhan nga dili makatabang kanila, apan makahatag hinuon ug kaulawan.”
They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
6 Ang gipamulong mahitungod sa mga mananap sa Negev: Latas sa yuta sa kasamok ug kakuyaw, sa babayeng liyon ug sa liyon, sa bitin ug ang daw kalayo nga halas nga molupad, gidala nila ang ilang mga kaadunahan diha sa likod sa ilang mga asno, ug ang ilang mga bahandi diha sa bukobuko sa mga kamelyo, ngadto sa katawhan nga dili makatabang kanila.
The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from which come the young and the old lion, the viper and flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young donkeys, and their treasures upon the humps of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
7 Kay kawang lamang ang tabang sa Ehipto; busa gitawag ko siya nga Rahab, nga nagpabilin sa paglingkod.
For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.
8 Karon lakaw, ikulit kini diha sa papan sa ilang atubangan, ug isulat kini diha sa linukot nga basahon, aron nga matipigan kini alang sa moabotay nga panahon ingon nga pagpamatuod.
Now go, write it before them in a tablet, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
9 Kay mga masinupakon kini nga katawhan, bakakon nga mga anak, mga anak nga dili mamati sa pahimangno ni Yahweh.
That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
10 Gisultihan nila ang mga manalagna, “Ayaw pagtan-aw;” ug ngadto sa mga propeta, “Ayaw pagpanagna sa kamatuoran kanamo; pagsulti ug mga pulong nga pag-ulog-ulog, panagna sa mga tinumotumo.
Who say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not to us right things, speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Agi ngadto sa laing dalan, tipas sa laing agianan; himoa nga mohunong na sa pagsulti diha sa among atubangan ang Balaang Dios sa Israel.”
Withdraw from the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
12 Busa miingon ang Balaang Dios sa Israel, “Tungod kay gisalikway man ninyo kini nga pulong ug nagsalig sa pagpanglupig ug pagpanglimbong ug midangop niini,
Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and relied on them:
13 busa kini nga kasal-an mahimo alang kaninyo nga sama sa nagliki nga bahin nga andam nang matumpag, sama nga nakapatong diha sa taas nga pader nga sa kalit lang mahitabo dayon ang pagkatumpag.”
Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
14 Buakon niya kini sama sa pagbuak sa hulmahan sa kolon sa magkukolon; wala siyay ibilin niini, aron nga wala nay makita sa mga natipak niini nga mahimong kabutangan ug kalayo gikan sa halinganan, o aron sa pagsag-ob ug tubig gikan sa atabay,
And he shall break it as the breaking of the potter’s vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a piece to take fire from the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.
15 Kay mao kini ang gisulti sa Ginoong Dios, ang Balaang Dios sa Israel, “Sa pagbalik ug sa pagpahulay maluwas kamo; sa kalinaw ug sa pagsalig mao ang inyong kusog. Apan dili kamo gusto.
For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
16 Miingon kamo, 'Dili, kay mokalagiw kami pinaagi sa mga kabayo,' busa mokalagiw kamo; ug, 'Mosakay kami sa matulin nga mga kabayo,' busa kadtong mogukod kaninyo matulin usab.
But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
17 Mokalagiw ang usa ka libo tungod sa pagpanghulga sa usa; sa pagpanghulga sa lima mokalagiw kamo hangtod nga ang mahibilin kaninyo mahisama sa poste sa bandila didto sa tumoy sa bukid, o sama sa bandila didto sa bungtod.”
One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
18 Sa gihapon naghulat si Yahweh nga manggiluy-on kaninyo, busa andam siya sa pagpakita ug kaluoy kaninyo. Kay si Yahweh ang Dios sa hustisya; bulahan kadtong tanan nga naghulat alang kaniya.
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious to you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 Kay magpuyo ang katawhan didto sa Zion, sa Jerusalem, ug dili na kamo maghilak pa. Magmaluluy-on gayod siya kaninyo diha sa tingog sa inyong pagtuaw. Sa dihang madungog niya kini, motubag siya kaninyo.
For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious to thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
20 Bisan ug gihatagan kamo ni Yahweh ug tinapay sa kalisdanan, ug tubig sa kasakit, bisan pa niana, dili na gayod motago ang inyong magtutudlo, apan makita ninyo ang inyong magtutudlo pinaagi sa inyong kaugalingong mga mata.
And though the Lord shall give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thy eyes shall see thy teachers:
21 Makadungog ang imong mga igdulongog ug pulong sa imong likod nga moingon, “Mao kini ang dalan, lakaw niini,” kung moliko ka sa tuo o kung moliko ka sa wala.
And thy ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
22 Pagabulingan ninyo ang inyong kinulit nga mga larawan nga gihaklapan sa plata ug sa inyong bulawan nga mga larawan. Ipanglabay ninyo kini sama sa hugaw nga pasador. Moingon ka kanila, “Pahawa dinhi.”
Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a polluted cloth; thou shalt say to it, Be gone from me.
23 Ihatag niya ang ulan alang sa inyong binhi sa dihang magpugas kamo sa yuta, ug ang tinapay uban sa kadagaya gikan sa yuta, ug managhan ang mga ani. Nianang adlawa ang inyong mga mananap manibsib sa halapad nga mga sibsibanan.
Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, with which thou shalt sow the ground; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
24 Ang mga torong baka ug ang mga asno, nga nagdaro sa yuta, magakaon sa lamian nga kumpay nga gikaykay pinaagi sa pala ug karas.
The oxen likewise and the young donkeys that plow the ground shall eat cured fodder, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.
25 Sa matag hataas nga bukid ug sa matag hataas nga bungtod, adunay magdagayday nga mga sapa ug magdagayday nga mga tubig, sa adlaw sa dakong kamatay sa dihang mangatumpag ang mga tore.
And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
26 Ang kahayag sa bulan mahisama sa kahayag sa adlaw, ug ang siga sa adlaw mahimong pito ka pilo sa kahayag, sama sa siga sa adlaw sa pito ka mga adlaw. Pagabugkoson ni Yahweh ang pagkabungkag sa iyang katawhan ug alibyohan ang mga pangos nga naka samad kanila.
Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Tan-awa, ang ngalan ni Yahweh naggikan sa halayo nga dapit, nga nagdilaab uban sa iyang kasuko ug sa baga nga aso. Napuno sa kasilag ang iyang mga ngabil, ug ang iyang dila sama sa molamoy nga kalayo.
Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden of it is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
28 Ang iyang gininhawa sama sa nag-awas nga baha nga miabot hangtod sa liog, aron sa pag-alig-ig sa mga nasod pinaagi sa pagyagyag sa kagub-anan. Ang iyang gininhawa ingon nga rinda sa apapangig sa mga katawhan aron sa pagpahisalaag kanila.
And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.
29 Makabaton kamog awit sa kagabhion sa dihang pagahimoon ang balaang pagsaulog, ug kalipay sa kasingkasing, ingon sa usa ka tawo nga nagpaingon didto sa bukid ni Yahweh uban ang plawta, ngadto sa Bato sa Israel.
Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come upon the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.
30 Ipadungog ni Yahweh ang iyang matahom nga tingog ug ipakita ang paglihok sa iyang bukton diha sa iyang mapintas nga kasuko ug nagdilaab nga kalayo, uban sa unos, bagyo, ug ulan nga yelo.
And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
31 Kay tungod sa tingog ni Yahweh, magupok ang Asiria; bunalan niya sila pinaagi sa sungkod.
For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, who smote with a rod.
32 Sa matag hampak sa gituboy nga sungkod nga ipahamtang ni Yahweh kanila pagaduyogan pinaagi sa tugtog sa mga tamborin ug mga alpa samtang makiggubat siya ug makig-away kanila.
And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it.
33 Kay giandam na kaniadto pa ang dapit sa pagsunog. Sa pagkatinuod, giandam kini alang sa hari, ug gibuhat kini sa Dios nga lalom ug halapad. Andam na ang daghang tinapok nga mga kahoy uban sa kalayo. Ang gininhawa ni Yahweh, sama sa sapa sa asupre, nga maoy mopasilaob sa kalayo.
For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile of it is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.
