Isaias 3
1 Tan-awa, kuhaon sa Ginoo nga si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom, gikan sa Jerusalem ug Juda ang tukod ug sungkod: ang tanang tinubdan sa tinapay ug tubig;
See, the Lord Yahweh of hosts is about to take away from Jerusalem and from Judah support and staff: the whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water,
2 ang kusgan nga tawo, ang maggugubat, ang maghuhukom, ang propeta, ang mananagna, ang pangulo;
the mighty man and the warrior, the judge and the prophet, the one who practices divination and the elder,
3 ang kapitan sa 50, ang inila nga mga tawo, ang magtatambag, ang hanas nga magbubuhat, ug ang hanas nga maglalamat.
the captain of fifty and the respected citizen, the counselor, the expert craftsman and the skillful enchanter.
4 Ibutang ko ang mga batan-on ingon nga ilang mga pangulo, ug ang batan-on mangulo labaw kanila.
“I will place mere youths as their leaders, and the young will rule over them.
5 Daugdaogon ang katawhan, ang matag usa pinaagi sa ubang tawo ug sa iyang silingan; pakaulawan sa bata ang hamtong, ug hagiton sa yanong tawo ang halangdon.
The people will be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor; the child will insult the elderly, and the degraded will challenge the honorable.
6 Gunitan sa tawo ang iyang igsoong lalaki diha sa balay sa iyang amahan ug moingon, 'Aduna kay kupo; dumalahi kami, ug tugoti nga maanaa sa imong mga kamot kining naguba.'
A man will even take hold of his brother in his father's house and say, 'You have a coat; be our ruler, and let this ruin be in your hands.'
7 Nianang adlawa mosinggit siya ug moingon, 'Dili ako mahimong mananambal; wala akoy tinapay o bisti. Dili mahimo nga himoon mo ako nga pangulo sa katawhan.”'
On that day he will shout and say, 'I will not be a healer; I have no bread or clothing. You will not make me ruler of the people.'”
8 Kay nadagma ang Jerusalem, ug napukan ang Juda, tungod kay ang ilang gipamulong ug mga buhat batok man kang Yahweh, nga nagdumili sa mga mata sa iyang himaya.
For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their speech and their actions are against Yahweh, defying the eyes of his glory.
9 Ang hulagway sa ilang mga nawong nagpamatuod batok kanila; ug isugilon nila ang ilang sala sama sa Sodoma; dili nila kini itago. Alaot sila! Kay aduna silay hingpit nga katalagman alang sa ilang mga kaugalingon.
The look on their faces witnesses against them; and they tell of their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! For they have completed a catastrophe for themselves.
10 Sultihi ang maayong tawo nga mamaayo kini, kay makakaon sila sa bunga sa ilang mga binuhatan.
Tell the righteous person that it will be well, for they will eat the fruit of their deeds.
11 Pagkaalaot sa daotan! Kadaot kini alang kaniya, kay ang bayad sa iyang mga kamot moabot gayod kaniya.
Woe to the wicked! It will go badly for him, for the recompense of his hands will be done to him.
12 Akong katawhan—mga anak ang magdaugdaog kanila, ug ang mga babaye ang magdumala labaw kanila. Akong katawhan, gipatibulaag kamo niadtong naggiya kaninyo ug gilibog kamo sa inyong padulngan nga dalan.
My people—children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. My people, those who guide you lead you astray and confuse the direction of your path.
13 Mibarog si Yahweh alang sa pag-akusar; mibarog siya aron sa pag-akusar sa katawhan.
Yahweh stands up for an accusation; he is standing to accuse the people.
14 Moabot si Yahweh aron sa paghukom batok sa mga kadagkoan sa iyang katawhan ug sa ilang mga pangulo: Gigun-ob ninyo ang parasan; ang inilog gikan sa mga kabos nga anaa sa inyong mga balay.
Yahweh will come with judgment against the elders of his people and their leaders: “You have ruined the vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses.
15 Nganong gidugmok man ninyo ang akong katawhan ug gigaling ang nawong sa mga kabos?” Mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo nga labaw nga makagagahom.
Why do you crush my people and grind the faces of the poor?” This is the declaration of the Lord Yahweh of hosts.
16 Misulti si Yahweh niana tungod kay garboso ang anak nga mga babaye sa Zion, naglakaw sila nga naghangad, ug nagkidhat ang ilang mga mata, naghinayhinay sila sa paglakaw uban sa kilingkiling nga anaa sa ilang mga tiil,
Yahweh says that because the daughters of Zion are proud, they walk with their necks extended, with flirting eyes, walking with tiny steps as they go, making tinkling sounds from bracelets on their ankles.
17 busa pahamtangan sa Ginoo ug nuka ang mga ulo sa anak nga mga babaye sa Zion, ug upawan sila ni Yahweh.
Therefore the Lord will form scabs on the heads of the daughters of Zion, and Yahweh will make them bald.
18 Nianang adlawa kuhaon sa Ginoo ang maanindot nga mga alahas nga anaa sa ilang tikod, ang mga dayandayan sa ulo, ang mga dayandayan nga pormang bag-ong subang nga bulan,
On that day the Lord will remove their beautiful ankle jewelry, head bands, the crescent ornaments,
19 ang mga ariyos, ang mga pulsiras, ug ang mga tabon sa nawong;
the ear pendants, the bracelets, and the veils;
20 ang mga purong, ang mga kadena nga anaa sa tikod, ang mga bakos, ug ang mga sudlanan sa pahumot, ug ang mga anting-anting.
the headscarves, the ankle chains, the sashes, and the perfume boxes, and the lucky charms.
21 Kuhaon niya ang mga singsing ug mga alahas nga anaa sa ilong;
He will remove the rings and the nose jewels;
22 ang mga kupo alang sa kasaulogan, ang mga mantiletas ug ang mga puntil;
the festive robes, the mantles, the veils, and the handbags;
23 ang mga samin, ang pinong lino, ang mga purong, ug ang mga turban.
the hand mirrors, the fine linen, the head pieces, and the wraps.
24 Imbis nga humot nga pahumot adunay dili maayong baho; imbis nga turban, adunay usa ka pisi; imbis nga maayong pagkasudlay nga buhok, adunay pagkaupaw; ug imbis nga kupo, nagsul-ob ug sako; ug paso imbis nga kaanyag.
Instead of sweet perfume there will be stench; and instead of a sash, a rope; instead of well-arranged hair, baldness; and instead of a robe, a covering of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.
25 Mapukan ang imong mga tawo pinaagi sa espada, ug mapukan didto sa gubat ang imong kusgan nga kalalakin-an.
Your men will fall by the sword, and your strong men will fall in war.
26 Magbangotan ug magsubo ang mga ganghaan sa Jerusalem; ug mag-inusara siya ug maglingkod sa yuta.
Jerusalem's gates will lament and mourn; and she will be alone and sit upon the ground.
