Isaias 14
1 Adunay kaluoy si Yahweh kang Jacob; pilion niya pag-usab ang Israel ug pabalikon sila sa ilang yuta. Mouban kanila ang mga langyaw ug makigtipon sila didto sa balay ni Jacob.
For the Lord wil haue compassion of Iaakob, and wil yet chuse Israel, and cause them to rest in their owne lande: and the stranger shall ioyne him selfe vnto them, and they shall cleaue to the house of Iaakob.
2 Pagadad-on sila sa mga nasod sa ilang kaugalingong dapit. Unya kuhaon sila sa balay ni Israel sa yuta ni Yahweh ingon nga lalaki ug babaye nga mga sulugoon. Ilang bihagon kadtong mibihag kanila, ug dumalahan nila kadtong nagdaugdaog kanila.
And the people shall receiue them and bring them to their owne place, and the house of Israel shall possesse them in the land of the Lord, for seruants and handmaids: and they shall take them prisoners, whose captiues they were, and haue rule ouer their oppressours.
3 Sa adlaw nga hatagan ka ni Yahweh ug kapahulayan gikan sa imong mga pag-antos ug kasubo, ug gikan sa imong paghago nga gikinahanglan nimong buhaton,
And in that day when the Lord shall giue thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy feare, and from the sore bodage, wherein thou didest serue,
4 awiton nimo kining awit sa pagtamay batok sa hari sa Babilonia, “Nalaglag na ang tigdaugdaog, natapos na ang hilabihan nga pagkagarboso!
Then shalt thou take vp this prouerbe against the King of Babel, and say, Howe hath the oppressor ceased? and the gold thirsty Babel rested?
5 Gibali ni Yahweh ang sungkod sa daotan, ang setro niadtong mga tigdumala,
The Lord hath broken the rodde of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers:
6 nga naghampak sa katawhan sa kaligutgot pinaagi sa walay hunong nga pagbunal, nga nagdumala sa kanasoran sa kasuko, uban ang paglutos nga walay pagpugong.
Which smote the people in anger with a continuall plague, and ruled the nations in wrath: if any were persecuted, he did not let.
7 Nagpahulay ug malinawon ang tibuok kalibotan; nagsugod na sila ug saulog uban sa panag-awit.
The whole worlde is at rest and is quiet: they sing for ioye.
8 Bisan ang sipres nga mga kahoy naglipay alang kanimo uban sa mga sedro sa Lebanon; miingon sila, 'Sanglit napukan na ikaw, wala nay tigputol ug kahoy nga moanhi aron sa pagputol kanamo.'
Also the firre trees reioyced of thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid downe, no hewer came vp against vs.
9 Buot na makigkita kanimo ang Sheol sa dihang moadto kana didto. Gipukaw na ang mga patay alang kanimo, ang tanang hari sa kalibotan, mitindog gikan sa ilang mga trono, ang tanang hari sa kanasoran. (Sheol h7585)
Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy comming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
10 Makigsulti silang tanan ug moingon kanimo, 'Nahimo ka nang huyang sama kanamo. Managsama na kita.
All they shall crie, and saie vnto thee, Art thou become weake also as we? art thou become like vnto vs?
11 Gidala ang imong kabantog didto sa Sheol uban sa huni sa imong kinuwerdasan nga mga instrumento. Nagkatag ang mga ulod ilalom kanimo, ug matabonan ka sa mga ulod. (Sheol h7585)
Thy pompe is brought downe to ye graue, and the sounde of thy violes: the worme is spred vnder thee, and the wormes couer thee. (Sheol h7585)
12 Giunsa man nimo pagkahulog gikan sa kalangitan, bituon sa kabuntagon, anak nga lalaki sa buntag! Giunsa nimo pagkalumpag sa yuta, ikaw nga mibuntog sa mga nasod!
How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifer, sonne of the morning? and cutte downe to the grounde, which didest cast lottes vpon the nations?
13 Miingon ka sa imong kasingkasing, 'Mokayab ako sa langit, ituboy ko ang akong trono ibabaw sa kabituonan sa Dios, ug molingkod ako sa bukid nga tigomanan, sa halayong dapit sa amihanan.
Yet thou saidest in thine heart, I will ascende into heauen, and exalt my throne aboue beside the starres of God: I will sitte also vpon the mount of the Congregation in the sides of the North.
14 Mokayab ako ibabaw sa kahitas-an sa mga panganod; himoon ko ang akong kaugalingon nga Labing Halangdon nga Dios.'
I wil ascend aboue ye height of the cloudes, and I will be like the most high.
But thou shalt bee brought downe to the graue, to the sides of the pit. (Sheol h7585)
16 Kadtong mga nakakita kanimo motutok gayod ug maminaw sila kanimo. Moingon sila, “Mao ba kini ang tawo nga nakapakurog sa yuta, miuyog sa mga gingharian,
They that see thee, shall looke vpon thee and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, and that did shake the kingdomes?
17 nga naghimo sa kalibotan sama sa usa ka kamingawan, nagguba sa mga siyudad niini ug wala nagpapauli sa iyang mga binilanggo sa ilang mga panimalay?'
He made the worlde as a wildernesse, and destroied the cities thereof, and opened not the house of his prisoners.
18 Ang tanang hari sa kanasoran, naghigda silang tanan uban ang kadungganan, sa matag usa nila ka lubnganan.
All the Kings of the nations, euen they all sleepe in glorie, euery one in his owne house.
19 Apan gikuha ka pagawas sa imong lubnganan sama sa sanga nga gilabay sa layo. Tabonan ka sa mga patay sama sa panapton, kadtong gipatay pinaagi sa espada, nga manaog sa kabatoan sa bangag.
But thou art cast out of thy graue like an abominable branch: like the raiment of those that are slaine, and thrust thorowe with a sword, which goe downe to the stones of the pit, as a carkeise troden vnder feete.
20 Dili ka iipon kanila sa paglubong, tungod kay gilaglag mo ang imong yuta ug gipamatay ang imong katawhan. Dili na gayod hisgotan pa pag-usab ang mga anak sa mga nagbuhat ug daotan.”
Thou shalt not be ioyned with them in the graue, because thou hast destroied thine owne lande, and slaine thy people: the seede of the wicked shall not be renoumed for euer.
21 Andama ang inyong ihawanan alang sa iyang mga anak, alang sa kasal-anan sa ilang mga katigulangan, aron dili na sila mobarog pa ug makaangkon sa yuta ug magpuno sa tibuok kalibotan pinaagi sa mga siyudad.
Prepare a slaughter for his children, for the iniquitie of their fathers: let them not rise vp nor possesse the land, nor fil the face of the world with enemies.
22 “Mobarog ako batok kanila”—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom. “Pagaputlon ko gikan sa Babilonia ang ngalan, kaliwat, ug mga kaliwatan”—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.
For I wil rise vp against them (sayth the Lord of hostes) and will cut off from Babel the name and the remnant and the sonne, and the nephew, sayth the Lord:
23 “Himoon ko usab siya nga puy-anan sa mga ngiwngiw, ug mga lunangan, ug silhigon ko siya pinaagi sa silhig sa kalaglagan”—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom.
And I wil make it a possession to ye hedgehogge, and pooles of water, and I will sweepe it with the besome of destruction, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
24 Nanumpa si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom, “Sa pagkatinuod, sama sa akong katuyoan, ingon niana ang mahitabo; ug sama sa akong gitumong, mao gayod ang matuman:
The Lord of hostes hath sworne, saying, Surely like as I haue purposed, so shall it come to passe, and as I haue consulted, it shall stand:
25 Gun-obon ko ang mga taga-Asiria diha sa akong yuta, ug tumban ko siya sa akong kabukiran. Unya kuhaon ang iyang yugo gikan kanila ug ang iyang palas-anon diha sa ilang abaga.”
That I will breake to pieces Asshur in my land, and vpon my mountaines will I treade him vnder foote: so that his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall be taken from off their shoulder.
26 Mao kini ang laraw nga gitumong alang sa tibuok kalibotan, ug mao kini ang kamot nga gipataas ibabaw sa tanang kanasoran.
This is the counsell that is consulted vpon the whole worlde, and this is the hande stretched out ouer all the nations,
27 Kay gilaraw kini ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom; kinsa man ang makapugong kaniya? Gipataas ang iyang kamot, ug kinsa man ang makapabalik niini?
Because the Lord of hostes hath determined it, and who shall disanull it? and his hande is stretched out, and who shall turne it away?
28 Sa tuig nga namatay si Haring Ahaz, miabot kini nga pahayag:
In the yeere that King Ahaz died, was this burden.
29 Ayaw paglipay, kamong tanan nga Filistihanon, nga nabali ang bunal nga naghampak kaninyo. Kay gikan sa gamot sa bitin mogula ang malala nga halas, ug ang iyang mga anak mahimong mas lala pa nga bitin nga molupad.
Reioyce not, (thou whole Palestina) because the rod of him that did beat thee, is broken for out of the serpents roote shall come forth a cockatrise, and the fruit therof shalbe a firy flying serpent.
30 Magpasabsab ang kamagulangang anak sa kabos sa ilang mga karnero didto sa akong sibsibanan, ug maghigda ang timawa nga luwas. Pamatyon ko ang imong mga gamot pinaagi sa kagutom nga mopatay sa tanan nimong mga nahibiling katawhan.
For the first borne of the poore shall be fed, and the needie shall lie downe in safetie: and I will kill thy roote with famine, and it shall slay thy remnant.
31 Pagngulob, ganghaan; paghilak, siyudad; mangatunaw kamong tanan, nga mga taga-Filistia. Kay mogawas gikan sa amihanan ang panganod sa aso, ug walay mahibilin sa iyang laray.
Howle, O gate, crie, O citie: thou whole lande of Palestina art dissolued, for there shall come from the North a smoke, and none shalbe alone, at his time appointed.
32 Unsaon man pagtubag sa usa sa mga tigdala ug mensahe niana nga nasod? Nga si Yahweh ang nagtukod sa Zion, ug makadangop kaniya ang mga nag-antos sa iyang katawhan.
What shall then one answere the messengers of the Gentiles? That the Lord hath stablished Zion, and the poore of his people shall trust in it.
