Isaias 11
1 Manalingsing ang bag-ong tuod gikan ni Jesse, ug mamunga ang sanga nga gikan sa iyang mga gamot.
Then shall spring forth a shoot from the stem of Jesse, And a sprout grow up from his roots.
2 Mopuyo kaniya ang Espiritu ni Yahweh, ang espiritu sa kaalam ug sa pagsabot, ang espiritu sa pagpanudlo ug sa gahom, ang espiritu sa kahibalo ug sa kahadlok kang Yahweh.
The spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of the knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah,
3 Kalipay niya ang pagkahadlok sa Ginoo; dili siya mohukom pinaagi sa iyang nakita, o mohukom pinaagi kung unsa ang iyang nadungog.
He shall take delight in the fear of Jehovah; He shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of his ears.
4 Hinuon, hukman niya ang kabos uban sa pagkamatarong ug makiangayon niyang hukman ang mapaubsanon dinhi sa kalibotan. Hampakon niya ang kalibotan pinaagi sa sungkod sa iyang baba, ug patyon niya ang daotan pinaagi sa gininhawa sa iyang mga ngabil.
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, And decide with equity for the afflicted of the land; He shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; With the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 Ang pagkamatarong mao ang bakos sa iyang hawak, ug ang pagkamatinud-anon ang bakos sa iyang bat-ang.
Righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 Makig-uban ang lobo uban sa mga nating karnero, ug mohigda ang leopardo uban sa mga nating kanding, mag-uban ang nating baka ang nating liyon ug ang gipatambok nga nating baka. Giyahan sila sa gamay nga bata.
Then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb, And the leopard shall lie down with the kid; The calf, and the young lion, and the fatling shall be together, And a little child shall lead them.
7 Magdungan ug sabsab ang baka ug ang oso, ug magtapad ug higda ang ilang mga anak. Mosabsab ug dagami ang liyon sama sa torong baka.
The cow and the bear shall feed together, Together shall their young lie down, And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 Magdula ang gamay nga bata ibabaw sa bangag nga puy-anan sa bitin, ug ibutang sa linutas nga bata ang iyang kamot ngadto sa lungib sa mga bitin.
The suckling shall play upon the hole of the asp, And the near-weaned child lay his hand on the hiding-place of the basilisk.
9 Dili nila pasakitan ni gun-obon ang tanan nakong balaang bukid; kay mapuno sa kahibalo ni Yahweh ang kalibotan, sama sa tubig nga mitabon sa dagat.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; For the land shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, As the waters cover the depths of the sea.
10 Nianang adlawa, mobarog ang gamot ni Jesse ingon nga bandera alang sa katawhan. Pangitaon siya sa mga nasod, ug mahimaya ang iyang pahulayanan nga dapit.
In that day shall the shoot of Jesse stand as a banner to the nations, And to him shall the gentiles repair, And his dwelling-place shall be glorious.
11 Nianang adlawa, ituy-od pag-usab sa Ginoo ang iyang kamot aron luwason ang nahibilin niyang katawhan sa Asiria, Ehipto, Patros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamat, ug ang mga isla sa dagat.
In that day shall Jehovah the second time stretch forth his hand To recover the remnant of his people, That remaineth, from Assyria, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, And from Shinar, and from Hamath, And from the islands of the sea.
12 Magtukod siya ug bandera alang sa mga nasod ug tigomon ang mga sinalikway sa Israel ug ang nagkatibulaag sa Juda gikan sa upat ka suok sa kalibotan.
He shall set up a banner to the nations, And gather the outcasts of Israel, And bring together the dispersed of Judah, From the four extremities of the earth.
13 Walaon niya ang kasina sa Efraim, ug mawala na ang kasamok sa Juda. Dili na masina ang Efraim sa Juda, ug dili na magsamok ang Juda sa Efraim.
Then shall the jealousy of Ephraim depart, And the enmity in Judah be at an end; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, And Judah shall not contend with Ephraim.
14 Hinuon molugsong sila sa kabukiran sa mga Filistihanon sa kasadpang bahin, ug mag-uban sila sa pag-ilog sa katawhan didto sa sidlakan. Sulongon nila ang Edom ug ang Moab, ug motuman kanila ang katawhan sa Amon.
But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines at the sea; Together shall they plunder the children of the East; On Edom and Moab shall they lay their hand, And the sons of Ammon shall be subject to them.
15 Laglagon gayod sa hingpit ni Yahweh ang gulpo sa Dagat sa Ehipto. Uban sa iyang init nga hangin ikaway niya ang iyang kamot ibabaw sa Suba sa Eufrates ug mabahin kini ngadto sa pito ka mga sapa, aron malatas lamang kini sa mga nagsandalyas.
Then will Jehovah utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea, And shake his hand over the river with a mighty wind, And smite it into seven streams, So that men may go over it dry-shod.
16 Adunay lapad nga dalan alang sa iyang nahibilin nga katawhan nga mobalik gikan sa Asiria, sama sa Israel sa ilang paggula gikan sa yuta sa Ehipto.
And it shall be a highway for the remnant of the people, Which shall remain, from Assyria, As there was to Israel, When he came up from the land of Egypt.
