Esdras 8

1 Mao kini ang mga pangulo sa mga banay sa katigulangan nga mibiya uban kanako sa Babilonia sa panahon sa paghari ni Haring Artajerjes.

And these [are] [the] heads of fathers their and recording genealogy they who came up with me in [the] reign of Artaxerxes the king from Babylon.

2 Sa mga kaliwat ni Pinehas: si Gersom. Sa mga kaliwat ni Itamar: si Daniel. Sa mga kaliwat ni David: si Hatus.

Of [the] descendants of Phinehas Gershom. Of [the] descendants of Ithamar Daniel. Of [the] descendants of David Hattush.

3 Sa mga kaliwat ni Seconias, sa mga kaliwat ni Paros: si Zacarias. Uban kaniya nalista ang 150 ka mga lalaki.

Of [the] descendants of Shecaniah. Of [the] descendants of Parosh Zechariah and with him a genealogical list of males one hundred and fifty.

4 Sa mga kaliwat ni Pahat Moab: si Elioenai ang anak nga lalaki ni Seraias. Uban kaniya nalista ang 200 ka mga lalaki.

Of [the] descendants of Pahath-Moab Eliehoenai [the] son of Zerahiah and with him [were] two hundred the males.

5 Sa mga kaliwat ni Seconias: si Ben Jahasiel. Uban kaniya nalista ang 300 ka mga lalaki.

Of [the] descendants of (Zattu *X*) Shecaniah [the] son of Jahaziel and with him [were] three hundred the males.

6 Sa mga kaliwat ni Adin: si Ebed ang anak nga lalaki ni Jonatan. Uban kaniya nalista ang 50 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Adin Ebed [the] son of Jonathan and with him [were] fifty the males.

7 Sa mga kaliwat ni Elam: si Jesaias ang anak ni Atalia. Uban kaniya nalista ang 70 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Elam Jeshaiah [the] son of Athaliah and with him [were] seventy the males.

8 Sa mga kaliwat ni Sefatias: si Sebadias ang anak nga lalaki ni Miguel. Uban kaniya nalista ang 80 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Shephatiah Zebadiah [the] son of Michael and with him [were] eighty the males.

9 Sa mga kaliwat ni Joab: si Obadias ang anak nga lalaki ni Jehiel. Uban kaniya nalista ang 218 ka mga lalaki.

Of [the] descendants of Joab Obadiah [the] son of Jehiel and with him [were] two hundred and eight-teen the males.

10 Sa mga kaliwat ni Selomit ang anak nga lalaki ni Josefias. Uban kaniya nalista ang 160 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of (Bani *X*) Shelomith [the] son of Josiphiah and with him [were] one hundred and sixty the males.

11 Sa mga kaliwat ni Bebai: si Zacarias ang anak nga lalaki ni Bebai. Uban kaniya nalista ang 28 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Bebai Zechariah [the] son of Bebai and with him [were] twenty and eight the males.

12 Sa mga kaliwat ni Asgad: si Johanan ang anak nga lalaki ni Hacatan. Uban kaniya nalista ang 110 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Azgad Johanan [the] son of Hakkatan and with him [were] one hundred and ten the males.

13 Sa wala madugay miabot kadtong mga kaliwat ni Adonicam. Mao kini ang ilang mga ngalan: si Elifelet, si Jeuel, ug si Semaias. Uban kanila miabot ang 60 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Adonikam [the] last [ones] and these [are] names their Eliphelet Jeiel and Shemaiah and with them [were] sixty the males.

14 Sa mga kaliwat ni Bigvai: si Utai ug si Sacur. Uban kaniya nalista ang 70 ka mga lalaki.

And of [the] descendants of Bigvai Uthai (and Zaccur *Q(K)*) and with him [were] seventy the males.

15 Miingon si Esdras, “Gitigom ko ang mga tawong nagapanaw didto sa kanal nga paingon sa Ahava, ug nagkampo kami didto sulod sa tulo ka adlaw. Gisusi ko ang katawhan ug ang mga pari, apan wala akoy nakaplagan didto bisan usa sa mga kaliwat ni Levi.

And I assembled them to the river which goes to Ahava and we encamped there days three and I considered! the people and the priests and any of [the] descendants of Levi not I found there.

16 Busa nagpasugo ako alang kang Elieser, Ariel, Semaias, Elnatan, Jarib, ug Elnatahan ug kang Natan, Zecaraias, ug kang Mesulam—nga mga pangulo— ug alang kang Joarib ug kang El Natan— nga mga magtutudlo.

And I sent! for Eliezer for Ariel for Shemaiah and for Elnathan and for Jarib and for Elnathan and for Nathan and for Zechariah and for Meshullam chiefs and for Joiarib and for Elnathan teachers.

17 Sunod gipaadto ko sila ngadto kang Edo, ang pangulo sa Casfia. Gisultihan ko sila kung unsa ang isulti kang Ido ug sa iyang mga kaparyentihan, ang mga sulugoon sa templo nga nagpuyo sa Casfia, nga padad-an kita ug mga sulugoon alang sa balay sa Dios.

(And I commanded *Q(K)*) them to Iddo the chief in Casiphia the place and I put! in mouth their words to speak to Iddo brother his (the temple servants *Q(K)*) in Casiphia the place to bring to us servants for [the] house of God our.

18 Busa pinaagi sa maayong kamot sa Dios gipadad-an kita ug usa ka maalamong tawo nga ginganlan ug Serebias. Kaliwat siya ni Mali ang anak nga lalaki ni Levi nga anak ni Israel. Miabot siya uban ang iyang 18 ka mga anak nga lalaki ug mga igsoong lalaki.

And they brought to us according to [the] hand of God our good on us a man of insight one of [the] descendants of Mahli [the] son of Levi [the] son of Israel and Sherebiah and sons his and brothers his eight-teen.

19 Miabot uban kaniya si Hasabias. Anaa usab si Jesaias, usa sa mga anak ni Merari, uban sa iyang mga igsoong lalaki ug sa ilang mga anak nga lalaki, 20 ka mga lalaki tanan.

And Hashabiah and with him Jeshaiah one of [the] descendants of Merari brothers his and sons their twenty.

And I proclaimed there a fast at the river Ahava to humble ourselves before God our to seek from him a journey straight for us and for little one[s] our and for all property our.

22 Naulaw ako nga mohangyo sa hari ug kasundalohan o mangangabayo aron mopanalipod kanamo batok sa mga kaaway sa agianan, sanglit nagsulti man kami sa hari, 'Ang kamot sa among Dios magauban sa tanan nga magapangita kaniya alang sa kaayohan, apan ang iyang gahom ug kapungot modangat usab sa tanan nga makalimot kaniya.'

For I was ashamed to ask from the king an escort and horsemen to help us from an enemy on the journey for we had said to the king saying [the] hand of God our [is] on all [those who] seek him for good and strength his and anger his [are] towards all [those who] forsake him.

23 Busa nagpuasa kami ug nagpakisayod sa Dios mahitungod niini, ug nangaliyupo kami kaniya.

And we fasted! and we sought! from God our on this and he was entreated by us.

24 Sunod nagpili ako ug napulog duha ka mga lalaki gikan sa mga parianong opisyal: si Serebias, si Hasabias, ug ang napulo sa ilang mga igsoong lalaki.

And I set apart! of [the] leaders of the priests two [plus] ten to Sherebiah Hashabiah and with them of brothers their ten.

25 Gitimbang ko alang kanila ang plata, ang bulawan, ug ang mga butang ug ang mga halad alang sa balay sa Dios nga gihalad nga walay bayad sa hari, sa iyang magtatambag ug sa mga opisyal, ug sa tibuok Israel.

(And I weighed out! *Q(k)*) to them the silver and the gold and the vessels [the] contribution of [the] house of God our which they had offered the king and counselors his and officials his and all Israel who were found.

26 Busa gitimbang ko diha sa ilang mga kamot ang 22, 100 ka kilong plata, 3, 400 ka kilo nga bulawan,

And I weighed out! on hand their silver talents six hundred and fifty and vessels of silver one hundred of talents gold one hundred talent[s].

27 20 ka panaksan nga bulawan nga kung timbangon mokabat ug 1, 000 ka darics, ug duha ka sudlanan nga tumbaga nga gipasinaw pag-ayo nga sama ka bililhon sa bulawan.

And bowls of gold twenty of darics a thousand and vessels of bronze gleaming fine two precious like gold.

28 Unya gisultihan ko sila, 'Gibalaan kamo ngadto kang Yahweh, ug kining mga butanga usab. Ug kining plata ug bulawan mao ang mga kinabubut-ong halad ngadto kang Yahweh, ang Dios sa inyong katigulangan.

And I said! to them you [are] holy person[s] to Yahweh and the vessels [are] holy thing[s] and the silver and the gold [are] a freewill offering to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your.

29 Bantayi kini ug tipigi hangtod matimbang ninyo kini atubangan sa mga parianong opisyal, mga Levita, ug mga pangulo sa mga banay sa katigulangan sa Israel didto sa Jerusalem sulod sa mga lawak sa balay sa Dios.'

Watch and keep [them] until you will weigh [them] out before [the] leaders of the priests and the Levites and [the] leaders of the fathers of Israel in Jerusalem the rooms of [the] house of Yahweh.

30 Gidawat sa mga pari ug sa mga Levita ang natimbang nga plata, bulawan, ug mga butang aron dad-on kini ngadto sa Jerusalem, ngadto sa balay sa among Dios.

And they received the priests and the Levites [the] weight of the silver and the gold and the vessels to bring [them] to Jerusalem to [the] house of God our.

31 Milakaw kami gikan sa Kanal sa Ahava sa ika-napulo ug duha ka adlaw sa unang bulan aron moadto sa Jerusalem. Ang kamot sa among Dios nag-uban kanamo; gipanalipdan niya kami gikan sa kamot sa kaaway ug niadtong mga tawo nga nagtinguha sa pagtulis kanamo sa dalan.

And we set out! from [the] river of Ahava on [day] two [plus] ten of the month first to go Jerusalem and [the] hand of God our it was on us and he delivered us from [the] hand of an enemy and from an ambusher on the journey.

32 Busa nakasulod kami sa Jerusalem ug nagpabilin didto sulod sa tulo ka adlaw.

And we came Jerusalem and we remained there days three.

33 Unya sa ikaupat nga adlaw gitimbang ang plata, bulawan, ug mga butang sulod sa balay sa Dios ngadto sa kamot ni Meremot ang anak nga lalaki ni Uria nga usa ka pari. Uban kaniya si Eleasar nga anak ni Pinehas, si Josabad nga anak ni Josue, ug si Noadias ang anak nga lalaki ni Binui nga usa ka Levita.

And on the day fourth it was weighed out the silver and the gold and the vessels in [the] house of God our on [the] hand of Meremoth [the] son of Uriah the priest and with him Eleazar [the] son of Phinehas and with them Jozabad [the] son of Jeshua and Noadiah [the] son of Binnui the Levites.

34 Nasayran ang kinatibuk-ang gidaghanon ug gibug-aton; ang kinatibuk-ang timbang nahasulat niadtong higayona.

By number by weight for everything and it was written down all the weight at the time that.

35 Ang mga tawo nga nahibalik gikan sa pagkaulipon, ang katawhan nga binihag, naghalad ug mga halad sinunog ngadto sa Dios sa Israel: napulog duha ka mga torong baka alang sa tibuok Israel, 96 ka mga laking karnero, 77 ka nating karnero, ug napulog duha ka mga kanding ingon nga halad tungod sa sala. Ang tanan mao ang halad sinunog alang kang Yahweh.

Those [who] had come from the captivity [the] children of the exile they brought near burnt offerings - to [the] God of Israel bulls two [plus] ten on all Israel rams - ninety and six lambs seventy and seven he-goats of sin offering two [plus] ten everything [was] a burnt offering to Yahweh.

36 Unya gihatag nila ang mga kasugoan ngadto sa mga labaw nga opisyal sa hari ug sa mga gobernador sa unahan sa suba, ug gitabangan nila ang katawhan ug ang balay sa Dios.”

And they gave - [the] decrees of the king to [the] satraps of the king and [the] governors of beyond the River and they supported the people and [the] house of God.
