Esdras 1
1 Sa unang tuig ni Ciro, ang hari sa Persia, gituman ni Yahweh ang iyang pulong nga gikan sa baba ni Jeremias, ug gitandog ang espiritu ni Ciro. Mikaylap ang pulong ni Ciro sa tibuok niyang gingharian. Mao kini ang gisulat ug gisulti:
NOW in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 “Si Ciro, ang hari sa Persia, miingon: si Yahweh, ang Dios sa Langit, gihatag kanako ang tanang gingharian sa kalibotan, ug gipili niya ako aron sa pagpatukod alang kaniya sa usa ka balay sa Jerusalem didto sa Judea.
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3 Bisan kinsa kaninyo nga gikan sa iyang katawhan (hinaot nga ang iyang Dios magauban kaniya) mahimong motungas ngadto sa Jerusalem ug magtukod sa balay alang kang Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel, nga mao ang Dios sa Jerusalem.
Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God, ) which is in Jerusalem.
4 Ang nahibiling mga katawhan nga nagpuyo sa yuta sa bisan asa nga bahin sa gingharian kinahanglan mohatag kanila ug plata ug bulawan, mga kabtangan ug mga kahayopan, ingon man ang kinabubut-ong halad alang sa balay sa Dios sa Jerusalem.”
And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
5 Unya mitindog ang pangulo sa mga banay sa katigulangan ni Juda ug ni Benjamin, ang mga pari ug ang mga Levita ug ang tanan kansang ang espiritu gitandog sa Dios nga moadto ug motukod sa iyang balay.
Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.
6 Kadtong nag-alirong kanila mitabang sa ilang buluhaton uban ang mga plata ug mga bulawan, mga kabtangan, mga kahayopan, mga bililhong butang, ug mga halad nga kinabubut-on.
And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.
7 Giuli usab ni Haring Ciro ang mga galamiton nga gipanag-iya sa balay ni Yahweh nga gidala ni Nabucodonozor gikan sa Jerusalem ug gibutang sulod sa mga balay sa iyang diosdios.
Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;
8 Gitugyan kini ni Ciro ngadto sa kamot ni Mitredates ang tinugyanan sa panudlanan, nga giihap kini alang kang Sesbasar, ang pangulo sa Judea.
Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
9 Mao kini ang ilang gidaghanon: 30 ka plangganang bulawan, 1, 000 ka plangganang plata, 29 ka lain pang planggana,
And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,
10 30 ka panaksang bulawan, 410 ka gagmay nga panaksang plata, ug 1, 000 ka mga dugang kabtangan.
Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.
11 Ang tanang butang nga bulawan ug plata mikabat ug 5, 400. Gipangdala kining tanan ni Sesbasar sa dihang ang mga binihag nanguli gikan sa Babilonia paingon sa Jerusalem.
All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
