Ezequiel 1
1 Sa ika-30 ka tuig, sa ika-lima nga adlaw sa ika-upat nga bulan, sa panahon nga nagpuyo ako uban sa mga binihag didto sa Suba sa Kebar. Naabli ang kalangitan ug nakita ko ang mga panan-awon gikan sa Dios.
In the thirtieth year, the fourth month, and the fifth day of the month, it came about that I was living among the captives by the Kebar Canal. The heavens opened, and I saw visions of God.
2 Sa ika-lima ka adlaw nianang bulana—ika-lima nga tuig kadto sa pagkabihag ni Haring Jehoyakin—
On the fifth day of that month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin—
3 miabot ang pulong ni Yahweh ngadto kang Ezekiel ang anak ni Buzi nga pari, diha sa kayutaan sa Caldeanhon didto sa Suba sa Kebar, ug nakig-uban kaniya didto ang kamot ni Yahweh.
the word of Yahweh came to Ezekiel son of Buzi the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans by the Kebar Canal, and the hand of Yahweh was upon him there.
4 Unya nakita ko ang usa ka bagyo nga gikan sa amihanan; usa ka dakong panganod inubanan sa pagkilat ug gipalibotan kini sa kahayag ug ang sulod niini, ug ang kalayo nga anaa sa sulod sa panganod naggilakgilak sama sa nagbagang bulawan.
Then I looked, and there was a windstorm coming from the north; a great cloud with fire flashing within it and brightness surrounding it and inside of it, and the fire was the color of amber inside the cloud.
5 Diha sa taliwala, may upat ka mga buhing binuhat. Mao kini ang ilang panagway: sama sila sa dagway sa tawo,
In the middle was the likeness of four living creatures. This was their appearance: They had the likeness of a man,
6 apan ang matag-usa kanila adunay upat ka mga nawong ug ang matag binuhat adunay upat ka mga pako.
but they had four faces each, and each of the creatures had four wings.
7 Tul-id ang ilang mga batiis, ug ang mga tikod sa ilang mga tiil daw sama sa mga kuko sa baka nga nagagilak sama sa gipahamis nga bronse.
Their legs were straight, but the soles of their feet were like the hooves of a calf that shone like polished bronze.
8 Apan aduna silay mga kamot nga sama sa tawo diha ilalom sa ilang tagsatagsa ka mga pako. Silang upat, adunay panagway ug mga pako nga sama niini:
Yet they had human hands under their wings on all four sides. For all four, their faces and wings were like this:
9 nag-abot ang ilang mga pako sa katapad nga binuhat, ug dili na sila molisoliso pa kung molakaw na sila; hinuon, ang matag-usa kanila molakaw paabanti.
their wings were touching the wings of the next creature, and they did not turn as they went; instead, each one went straight forward.
10 Sama sa dagway sa tawo ang ilang mga hitsura. Ang upat kanila may panagway nga sama sa liyon sa tuong bahin, ug ang sa wala nga bahin sama sa panagway sa baka, ug ang likoran nga bahin sama sa panagway sa agila.
The likeness of their faces was like the face of a man. The four of them had the face of a lion to the right side, and the four of them had the face of an ox on the left side. They four had also the face of an eagle.
11 Sama niana ang ilang mga panagway, ug gibukhad nila ang ilang mga pako, aron mag-abot ang duha ka mga pako sa matag binuhat, ug ang laing paris sa pako nagtabon sa ilang mga lawas.
Their faces were like that, and their wings were spread out above, so that each creature had a pair of wings that touched another creature's wing, and also a pair of wings that covered their bodies.
12 Molakaw ang matag binuhat kung asa sila giyahan sa Espiritu, molakaw sila nga dili na molisoliso pa.
Each went straight forward, so that wherever the Spirit directed them to go, they went without turning.
13 Ingon niini ang panagway sa buhing mga binuhat, sama sila sa nagbagang kalayo, sama sa sulo; ang hayag nga kalayo nagauban usab sa paglihok sa mga binuhat, ug adunay pagkidlap sa kilat.
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches; bright fire also moved about among the creatures, and there were flashes of lightning.
14 Paspas nga nagalihok ang mga buhing binuhat nga nagbahisbahis sama sila sa kilat!
The living creatures were moving swiftly back and forth, and they had the appearance of lightning!
15 Unya gitan-aw ko ang buhing mga binuhat; adunay usa ka ligid nga anaa sa yuta sa tapad sa buhing mga binuhat.
Then I looked at the living creatures; and I saw one wheel on the ground beside each of living creatures with its four faces.
16 Mao kini ang hulagway ug ang porma sa mga ligid: sama sa beryl nga bato ang matag ligid, ug managsama ang upat; ang ilang hulagway ug porma sama sa ligid nga nagsumpay sa laing ligid.
This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: Each wheel was like beryl, and the four had the same likeness; their appearance and structure was like a wheel intersecting another wheel.
17 Kung motuyok na ang mga ligid, motuyok kini nga dili na molikoliko sa bisan asa nga padulngan sa giatubangan sa mga binuhat.
As they moved, they went in any of their four directions, without turning as they went.
18 Kay ang ilang mga yantas, habog kini ug makuyaw, kay nalukop sa mga mata ang palibot sa mga yantas.
As for their rims, they were high and fearsome, for the rims were full of eyes round about.
19 Bisan asa moadto ang buhing binuhat, motuyok usab ang ligid uban kanila. Kung molupad ang buhing binuhat gikan sa yuta, madala usab ang maong mga ligid.
Whenever the living creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them. When the living creatures rose up from the earth, the wheels also rose up.
20 Bisan asa moadto ang Espiritu, atua sila ug molupad ang ligid nga anaa sa kilid niini, kay ang espiritu sa buhing binuhat anaa sa mga ligid.
Wherever the Spirit would go, they went, and the wheels rose up beside them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
21 Bisan asa moadto ang mga binuhat, motuyok usab ang mga ligid; ug kung mopundo ang mga binuhat, mopundo usab ang mga ligid; kung molupad ang mga binuhat gikan sa yuta, motuyok usab ang mga ligid tapad kanila, tungod kay ang espiritu sa buhing binuhat anaa sa mga ligid.
Whenever the creatures moved, the wheels also moved; and when the creatures stood still, the wheels stood still; when the creatures rose up from the earth, the wheels rose up beside them, because the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
22 Sa ibabaw sa mga ulo sa buhing binuhat may hulagway sa atop-atop; sama kini sa naggilakgilak nga kristal ibabaw sa ilang mga ulo.
Over the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of an expansive dome; it looked like awe-inspiring crystal stretched out over their heads above.
23 Ilalom sa atop-atop, ang matag pako sa binuhat mibukhad ug nag-abot ang ilang mga pako. Ang matag binuhat adunay laing paris sa mga pako nga motabon sa iyang kaugalingon lawas.
Beneath the dome, each one of the creature's wings stretched out straight and touched another creature's wings. Each of the living creatures also had a pair to cover themselves; each had a pair to cover his own body.
24 Unya nadungog ko ang tingog sa ilang mga pako sama sa haguros sa katubigan. Sama sa tingog sa Makagagahom sa bisan asa sila molihok. Sama sa tingog sa bagyo. Sama sa tingog sa mga kasundalohan. Sa panahon nga mopundo sila, itiklop nila ang ilang mga pako.
Then I heard the sound of their wings. Like the noise of many waters. Like the voice of the Almighty whenever they moved. Like the sound of a rainstorm. Like the sound of an army. Whenever they stood still, they lowered their wings.
25 May tingog gikan sa atop-atop ibabaw sa ilang mga ulo sa panahon nga mopundo sila ug itiklop ang ilang mga pako.
A voice came from above the dome over their heads whenever they stood still and lowered their wings.
26 Ang ibabaw sa atop-atop diha sa ilang mga ulo, may sama sa trono nga naghulagway sa batong sapiro, ug ang sama sa usa ka panagway sa tawo ang hulagway sa trono.
Above the dome over their heads was the likeness of a throne that was like the appearance of a sapphire stone, and on the likeness of the throne was a likeness like the appearance of a man.
27 Aduna akoy nakita nga sama sa nagsinawsinaw nga nagbagang puthaw gikan sa iyang hawak pataas; nakita ko usab gikan sa iyang hawak paubos ang dagway sa kalayo ug ang kahayag nga nagpalibot niini.
I saw a figure with the appearance of glowing metal with fire in it from the appearance of his hips up; I saw from the appearance of his hips downward the appearance of fire and brightness all around.
28 Sama kini sa bangaw diha sa panganod sa panahon nga moulan mao ang kahayag nga nagpalibot niini. Mipakita kini sama sa himaya ni Yahweh. Sa dihang nakita ko kini, mihapa ako ug nadungog ko ang tingog nga misulti.
Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day was the appearance of the bright light surrounding it. It was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Yahweh. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice speaking.
