Ezequiel 4

1 “Apan ikaw, anak sa tawo, pagkuhag tisa ug ibutang kini sa imong atubangan. Unya iukit ang siyudad sa Jerusalem niini.

And thou, son of man, take thee a brick, and thou shalt set it before thy face, and shalt portray on it the city, [even] Jerusalem.

2 Unya paliboti kini ug kasundalohan, ug buhati kini ug mga kota. Paghimo ug kasakahan nga yuta niini ug paliboti kini ug mga kampo. Butangi ug mga troso nga pangguba ang palibot niini.

And thou shalt besiege it, and build works against it, and throw up a mound round about it, and pitch camps against it, and set up engines round about.

3 Unya pagkuha ug lapad nga puthaw ug gamita kini ingon nga paril nga puthaw tali kanimo ug sa siyudad ug pag-atubang niini, kay sulongon na kini, ug ikaw ang mosulong niini. Mamahimo kining timailhan sa panimalay sa Israel.

And take thou to thyself an iron pan, and thou shalt set it [for] an iron wall between thee and the city: and thou shalt set thy face against it, and it shall be in a siege, and thou shalt besiege it. This is a sign to the children of Israel.

4 Ug unya, pagtakilid ug higda sa imong wala nga bahin ug ibutang niini ang sala sa panimalay sa Israel; pas-anon mo ang ilang sala sulod sa daghang mga adlaw sa imong paghigda batok sa panimalay sa Israel.

And thou shalt lie upon thy left side, and lay the iniquities of the house of Israel upon it, according to the number of the hundred and fifty days [during] which thou shalt lie upon it: and thou shalt bear their iniquities.

5 Ako mismo ang magtahas kanimo ug usa ka adlaw nga magpaila alang sa usa katuig nga ilang silot: 390 ka mga adlaw! Sa ingon niini, pas-anon mo ang sala sa panimalay sa Israel.

For I have appointed thee their iniquities for a number of days, for a hundred and ninety days: so thou shalt bear the iniquities of the house of Israel.

6 Kung mahuman na kini nga mga adlaw, takilid sa ikaduhang higayon sa imong tuong bahin, kay pas-anon mo ang sala sa panimalay sa Juda sulod sa 40 ka mga adlaw. Tahasan ko ikaw ug usa ka adlaw alang sa matag tuig.

And thou shalt accomplish this, and [then] shalt lie on thy right side, and shalt bear the iniquities of the house of Juda forty days: I have appointed thee a day for a year.

7 Atubanga ang Jerusalem nga gisulong, ug pinaagi sa imong kamot nga walay tabontabon sa pagpropesiya niini.

So thou shalt set thy face to the siege of Jerusalem, and shalt strengthen thine arm, and shalt prophesy against it.

8 Tan-awa! Gaposon ko ikaw aron dili ka makalisoliso hangtod nga mahuman ang mga adlaw sa imong pagsulong.

And, behold, I have prepared bonds for thee, land thou mayest not turn from thy one side to the other, until the days of thy siege shall be accomplished.

9 Pagkuha ug mga trigo, sibada ug mga liso, mga batong, mga dawa ug lain pang matang sa trigo; ibutang kini sa usa ka sudlanan ug paghimo ug tinapay alang sa imong kaugalingon sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga adlaw sa imong pagtakilid. Kay kaonon mo kini sulod sa 390 ka mga adlaw.

Take thou also to thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and bread-corn; and thou shalt cast them into one earthen vessel, and shalt make them into loaves for thyself; and thou shalt eat them a hundred and ninety days, according to the number of the days [during] which thou sleepest on thy side.

10 Ang kaonon nimo nga pagkaon mokabat ug 20 ka shekel ang gibug-aton matag adlaw, ug kaonon mo kini sa tukmang mga takna sa matag-adlaw.

And thou shalt eat thy food by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat them.

11 Unya moinom ka ug tubig, nga tunga sa litro, ug imnon nimo kini sa insaktong higayon.

And thou shalt drink water by measure, even from time to time thou shalt drink the sixth part of a hin.

12 Kan-on mo kini ingon nga sibada nga tinapay, apan lutoon nimo kini sa ilang atubangan gamit ang tae sa tawo!''

And thou shalt eat them [as] a barley cake: thou shalt bake them before their eyes in man's dung.

13 Kay miingon si Yahweh, ''Nagpasabot kini nga hugaw ang tinapay nga kaonon sa katawhan sa Israel, taliwala didto sa kanasoran diin ko sila papahawaon.''

And thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; Thus shall the children of Israel eat unclean things among the Gentiles.

14 Apan mitubag ako, “Ayaw, Ginoong Yahweh! Wala pa gayod ako mahugawi! Wala pa ako mikaon sa bisang unsa nga patay o bisan unsang gipatay sa mga mananap, sukad pa sa akong pagkabatan-on hangtod karon, ug wala pa nasudlan ang akong baba ug hugaw nga karne!''

Then I said, Not so, Lord God of Israel: surely my soul has not been defiled with uncleanness; nor have I eaten, that which died of itself or was torn of beasts from my birth until now; neither has any corrupt flesh entered into my mouth.

15 Busa misulti siya kanako, ''Tan-awa! Gihatagan ko ikaw ug tae sa baka imbis nga tae sa tawo aron makapangandam ka diha sa imong tinapay.''

And he said to me, Behold, I have given thee dung of oxen instead of man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy loaves upon it.

16 Misulti usab siya kanako, “Anak sa tawo, tan-awa! Paundangon ko ang gigikanan sa tinapay diha sa Jerusalem, ug mokaon sila ug tinapay nga may kabalaka samtang gibahinbahin kini ug moinom sa tubig nga may kahadlok samtang gibahinbahin kini.

And he said to me, Son of man, behold, I break the support of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight and in want; and shall drink water by measure, and in a state of ruin:

17 Tungod kay makabsan na sila ug tinapay ug tubig, ang matag usa maulawan sa iyang igsoong lalaki ug magniwang tungod sa ilang mga kalapasan.''

that they may want bread and water; and a man and his brother shall be brought to ruin, and they shall pine away in their iniquities.
