Ezequiel 29

1 Sa ika-napulo nga tuig, sa ika-napulo nga bulan sa ika -dose nga adlaw sa bulan, miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nagkanayon,

In the tenth year, the tenth month, the eleventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

2 “Anak sa tawo, atubang ngadto kang Paraon, ang hari sa Ehipto; panagna batok kaniya ug batok sa tanang taga-Ehipto.

Son of man, set thy face against Pharao king of Egypt: and thou shalt prophesy of him, and of all Egypt:

3 Sulti nga, 'Miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Tan-awa! Nakigbatok ako kanimo, Paraon nga hari sa Ehipto. Ikaw, nga mapintas nga mananap sa dagat nga nagapangatang diha sa taliwala sa suba, nga nag-ingon, “Akoa ang akong sapa. Gihimo ko kini alang sa akong kaugalingon.”

Speak, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I come against thee, Pharao king of Egypt, thou great dragon that liest in the midst of thy rivers, and sayest: The river is mine, and I made myself.

4 Kay butangan ko ug dakong taga ang imong apapangig, ug ang isda sa imong Nilo masangit sa imong mga himbis; Ipataas ko ikaw taliwala sa imong suba kauban sa tanang mga isda nga nasangit sa imong mga himbis.

But I will put a bridle in thy jaws: and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick to thy scales: and I will draw thee out of the midst of thy rivers, and all thy fish shall stick to thy scales.

5 Ilabay ko ikaw ngadto sa kamingawan, ikaw ug ang tanang mga isda nga anaa sa imong suba. Mahapla ka sa hawan nga dapit; dili kana mahibalik ni ituboy. Ihatag ko ikaw ingon nga pagkaon sa mga buhing mananap sa kalibotan ug ngadto sa mga langgam sa kalangitan.

And I will cast thee forth into the desert, and all the fish of thy river: thou shalt fall upon the face of the earth, thou shalt not be taken up, nor gathered together: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the earth, and to the fowls of the air.

6 Unya masayod ang tanang lumulopyo sa Ehipto nga ako mao si Yahweh, tungod kay nahimo silang mga punoan sa bugang ngadto sa balay sa Israel.

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord: because thou hast been a staff of a reed to the house of Israel.

7 Sa dihang gigunitan ka nila sa ilang mga kamot, imong gibali ug gisamaran ang ilang mga abaga; ug sa dihang misandig sila kanimo, nabali ka, ug gihimo mo ang ilang mga paa nga walay kusog.

When they took hold of thee with the hand thou didst break, and rent all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brokest, and weakenest all their loins.

8 Busa miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Tan-awa! Magdala ako ug espada batok kanimo. Pamatyon ko ang tawo ug ang mananap gikan kanimo.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will bring the sword upon thee: and cut off man and beast out of thee.

9 Busa mahimong guba ug biniyaan ang yuta sa Ehipto. Unya masayod sila nga ako si Yahweh, tungod kay miingon ang mapintas nga mananap sa dagat nga, “Akoa ang suba, kay ako mao ang nagbuhat niini.”

And the land of Egypt shall become a desert, and a wilderness: and they shall know that I am the Lord: because thou hast said: The river is mine, and I made it.

10 Busa, tan-awa! Nakigbatok ako kanimo ug sa imong suba, maong itugyan ko ang yuta sa Ehipto ngadto sa pagkabiniyaan ug dili mapuslan, ug mahimo ka nga walay pulos nga yuta gikan sa Migdol hangtod sa Syene ug ngadto sa mga utlanan sa Cus.

Therefore, behold I come against thee, and thy rivers: and I will make the land of Egypt utterly desolate, and wasted by the sword, from the tower of Syene, even to the borders of Ethiopia.

11 Walay tiil sa tawo nga makaagi niini, ug walay ihalas usab nga mananap ang makaagi niini. Dili kini mapuy-an sulod sa 40 ka tuig.

The foot of man shall not pass through it, neither shall the foot of beasts go through it: nor shall it be inhabited during forty years.

12 Kay himoon ko nga awaaw ang yuta sa Ehipto taliwala sa dili mapuy-an nga mga yuta, ug ang matag siyudad nga anaa sa taliwala sa pinasagdang mga siyudad mahimong biniyaan sulod sa 40 ka mga tuig; unya akong patibulaagon ang Ehipto ngadto sa mga kanasoran, ug patibulaagon ko sila diha sa mga yuta.

And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the lands that are desolate, and the cities thereof in the midst of the cities that are destroyed, and they shall be desolate for forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

13 Kay miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Sa pagkatapos sa 40 ka tuig tigomon ko pag-usab ang Ehipto gikan sa katawhan diin sila nagkatibulaag.

For thus saith the Lord God: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the people among whom they had been scattered.

14 Ipasig-uli ko ang kadato sa Ehipto ug ibalik sila ngadto sa rehiyon sa Patros, sa yuta nga ilang gigikanan. Ug mahimo silang kinaubosan nga gingharian didto.

And I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will place them in the land of Phatures, in the land of their nativity, and they shall be there a low kingdom:

15 Mao kini ang pinakaubos sa mga gingharian, ug dili na gayod kini ipataas taliwala sa mga kanasoran. Pakunhoron ko sila aron nga dili na sila magdumala sa mga kanasoran.

It shall be the lowest among other kingdoms, and it shall no more be exalted over the nations, and I will diminish them that they shall rule no more over the nations.

16 Dili na gayod mahimong rason nga kasaligan sa panimalay sa Israel ang mga Ehiptohanon. Hinuon, mahimo silang pahinumdom sa sala nga nabuhat sa Israel sa dihang miduol sila sa Ehipto aron sa pagpangayo ug tabang. Unya masayran nila nga ako si Yahweh ang Ginoo.”

And they shall be no more a confidence to the house of Israel, teaching iniquity, that they may flee, and follow them: and they shall know that I am the Lord God.

17 Unya sa pag-abot sa ika 27 nga tuig sa unang adlaw sa unang bulan, miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-ingon,

And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first of the month: that the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

18 “Anak sa tawo, gihan-ay ni Nebucadnezar ang iyang mga kasundalohan aron sa pagbuhat sa bug-at nga buluhaton batok sa Tyre. Nakangokango ang matag hilmit hangtod nga naupaw ang ulo, ug nangapaslot ang matag abaga. Ug bisan pa niana wala makadawat ug suhol ang iyang mga kasundalohan gikan sa Tyre sa bug-at nga trabaho nga iyang gibuhat batok niini.

Son of man, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon hath made his army to undergo hard service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: and there hath been no reward given him, nor his army for Tyre, for the service that he rendered me against it.

19 Busa miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo, 'Tan-awa! Itugyan ko ang yuta sa Ehipto ngadto kang Nebucadnezar nga hari sa Babilonia, ug iyang kuhaon ang katigayonan niini, ilogon ang mga kabtangan, ug dalhon ang tanan nga iyang makita didto; ug mao kadto ang suhol sa iyang mga kasundalohan.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will set Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon in the land of Egypt: and he shall take her multitude, and take the booty thereof for a prey, and rifle the spoils thereof: and it shall be wages for his army.

20 Gihatag ko kaniya ang yuta sa Ehipto ingon nga suhol sa trabaho nga iyang gibuhat alang kanako—mao kini ang gisulti ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.

And for the service that he hath done me against it: I have given him the land of Egypt, because he hath laboured for me, saith the Lord God.

21 Nianang adlawa patuboon ko ang sungay alang sa panimalay sa Israel, ug pasultihon ko ikaw diha sa ilang taliwala, aron nga masayod sila nga ako mao si Yahweh.”

In that day a horn shall bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give thee an open mouth in the midst of them: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
