Ezequiel 28
1 Unya miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,
The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
2 “Anak sa tawo, sultihi ang nagdumala sa Tyre, 'Miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Garboso ang imong kasingkasing! Miingon ka, 'dios ako! Molingkod ako diha sa lingkoranan sa mga dios nga anaa sa kasingkasing sa kadagatan!” Gihimo nimo ang imong kasingkasing sama sa kasingkasing sa dios, bisan nga tawo ka lamang ug dili dios;
Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, “I am a god, I sit in the seat of a god, in the midst of the seas”; and though thou art man, not God, yet settest thy heart as the heart of a god, —
3 naghunahuna ka nga mas maalamon ka kang Daniel, ug walay mga tinago nga dili nimo masabtan!
behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret which can be hidden from thee;
4 Nagpadato ka sa imong kaugalingon pinaagi sa kaalam ug katakos, ug nakabaton ug bulawan ug plata diha sa imong tigomanan sa mga bahandi!
by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver in thy treasures;
5 Midaghan ang imong bahandi, pinaagi sa imong dakong kaalam ug pagpamatigayon, busa nagmagarbohon ang imong kasingkasing tungod sa imong bahandi.
by thy great wisdom, by thy traffic, thou hast increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy wealth, —
6 Busa, miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Tungod kay gihimo nimo ang imong kasingkasing sama sa kasingkasing sa dios,
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou settest thy heart as the heart of a god, therefore,
7 busa pagadad-on ko ang mga langyaw batok kanimo, ang makahahadlok nga mga kalalakin-an gikan sa laing mga nasod. Makigbatok sila sa katahom sa imong kaalam pinaagi sa ilang mga espada, ug hugawan nila ang imong himaya.
behold, I will bring upon thee strangers, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 Ihulog kamo nila ngadto sa bung-aw, mamatay kamo sama sa kamatayon niadtong namatay didto sa kasingkasing sa kadagatan.
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of the slain, in the midst of the seas.
9 Moingon ka ba gayod nga, “dios ako” diha atubangan sa mopatay kanimo? Tawo ka ug dili Dios, ug itugyan ka ngadto sa kamot sa duslak kanimo.
Wilt thou yet say, “I am a god,” before him that slayeth thee? Thou shalt be man, and not God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 Mamatay ka sama sa kamatayon sa mga wala matuli diha sa kamot sa mga langyaw, kay gipamulong ko na kini—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”'
Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
11 Miabot na usab kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
12 “Anak sa tawo, pagbangotan alang sa hari sa Tyre ug sultihi siya, 'Miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Ikaw ang sumbanan sa pagkahingpit, puno sa kaalam ug hingpit sa kaanyag.
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: —Thou wast a finished signet, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty;
13 Anaa ka sa Eden, ang tanaman sa Dios. Naputos ka sa nagkadaiyang bililhon nga bato: rubi, topasio, emerald, krisolito, onix, haspe, safiro, turquiso ug berilo. Hinimo gikan sa bulawan ang imong mga butanganan. Naandam na kini sa adlaw sa pag-umol kanimo
In Eden, the garden of God, thou didst dwell; Every precious stone was thy covering, The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond, The chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, The sapphire, the carbuncle, and the emerald, and gold. The workmanship of thy jewel-holes was within thee; On the day when thou wast born were they prepared.
14 Gipahiluna ko ikaw diha sa balaang bukid sa Dios ingon nga anghel nga akong gituboy sa pagbantay sa katawhan. Anaa ka taliwala sa nagdilaab nga mga bato nga imong ginalakwan.
Thou wast an outspread, covering cherub; I set thee upon the holy mountain of God; Thou didst walk in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Maligdong ka sa imong mga pamaagi gikan sa adlaw sa pag-umol kanimo hangtod nga nakaplagan diha kanimo ang dili pagkamakiangayon.
Thou wast prosperous in thy ways from the day that thou wast born Until iniquity was found in thee.
16 Napuno ka sa kagubot tungod sa imong dagkong pamatigayon, ug busa nakasala ka. Busa gipapahawa ko ikaw diha sa bukid sa Dios, ingon nga nahugawan, ug giguba ko ikaw, anghel nga magbalantay, ug giabog ko ikaw taliwala diha sa nagdilaab nga mga bato.
Through the abundance of thy merchandise thou art full of injustice; And thou hast sinned; Therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God, And I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Garboso ang imoong kasingkasing tungod sa imong kaanyag; giguba nimo ang imong kaalam tungod sa imong katahom. Gipadala ko ikaw didto sa kalibotan. Gipahimutang ko ikaw atubangan sa mga hari aron nga makita ka nila.
Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy splendor; I will cast thee to the ground; I will give thee up to kings to be their gazing-stock.
18 Napasipad-an ang imong balaang mga dapit, tungod sa daghan nimong sala ug sa imong pagpanikas diha sa pagpamatigayon. Busa mogula ang kalayo gikan kanimo; lamyon ka niini. Himoon ko ikaw nga mga abo diha sa kalibotan sa atubangan sa tanan nga makakita kanimo.
By the multitude of thine iniquities, by the unrighteousness of thy traffic, Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries. Therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, which shall devour thee, And I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth, In the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 Mangurog ang tanang tawo nga nakaila kanimo taliwala sa katawhan; malisang sila, ug mahanaw ka hangtod sa kahangtoran.”'
All they that know thee among the nations shall be astonished at thee; Thou art become a desolation, and shalt exist no more forever.
20 Unya miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,
Again the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
21 “Anak sa tawo, andama ang imong kaugalingon batok sa Sidon ug panagna batok kaniya.
Son of man, set thy face against Sidon, and prophesy against her,
22 Isulti, 'Nag-ingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Tan-awa! Batok ako kaninyo, Sidon! Tungod kay himayaon ako diha sa inyong taliwala aron nga mahibaloan sa imong katawhan nga ako si Yahweh sa dihang ipasibaw ko na ang kaangayan diha kaninyo. Mapakita nga balaan ako diha kaninyo.
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Sidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee, and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I execute judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.
23 Ipadala ko ang hampak diha kaninyo ug ang dugo diha sa inyong kadalanan, ug matumba ang gitigbas diha sa inyong taliwala. Unya mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh, kung makigbatok kaninyo ang espada sa tanang bahin.
I will send upon her pestilence, and blood into her streets, and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her by the sword which is against her on every side; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
24 Unya wala nay tunukon nga mga kahoy ug mga sampinit alang sa panimalay sa Israel gikan niadtong tanang naglibot nga nagbiaybiay kaniya, busa mahibaloan nila nga ako si Yahweh nga Ginoo!'
And there shall be no more to the house of Israel a pricking brier, or a grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
25 Miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo, 'Sa dihang tigomon ko na ang panimalay sa Israel gikan sa taliwala sa katawhan kung diin sila nagkatibulaag, ug sa dihang lainon ko na sila, aron nga makita sa kanasoran, unya tukoron nila ang ilang mga balay diha sa yuta nga akong ihatag sa akong sulugoon nga si Jacob.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall gather the house of Israel from the nations among which they are scattered, then shall I be sanctified through them in the sight of the nations, and they shall dwell in the land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 Unya magtukod sila ug mga balay ug mamuyo nga luwas sa kakuyaw, mananom ug mga paras, ug mamuyo nga luwas sa kakuyaw sa dihang ipadangat ko na ang kaangayan alang sa tanan nga nagbiaybiay kanila sa tanang bahin; busa mahibaloan nila nga ako si Yahweh nga ilang Dios!”'
They shall dwell therein securely, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards, yea, they shall dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all that despised them round about; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, their God.
