Ezequiel 26

1 Busa sa ika-onse ka tuig, sa unang adlaw sa bulan, miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 “Anak sa tawo, tungod kay miingon ang Tyre batok sa Jerusalem, 'Aha! Nangabungkag na ang mga ganghaan sa katawhan! Mibalik siya kanako; mapuno ako tungod kay naguba na siya.'

Son of man, because Tyre hath said concerning Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people; she is turned unto me; I shall be made full, now she is laid in ruins:

3 Busa miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini, 'Tan-awa! Nakigbatok ako kanimo, Tyre, tigomon ko ang daghang kanasoran batok kanimo sama sa dagat nga mipasaka sa iyang mga balod.

Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, and will bring up against thee many nations, as the sea causeth its waves to come up.

4 Gub-on nila ang mga pader sa Tyre ug pagalumpagon ang ilang mga tore. Silhigon ko ang iyang mga abog ug himoon siya nga lunlon bato.

And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and pull down her towers: I will also flood away her earth from her, and I will change her into a naked rock.

5 Mahimo siyang dapit nga bularanan ug mga pukot diha taliwala sa kadagatan, tungod kay gisulti ko na kini—mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh—ug mahimo siya nga inilog alang sa mga kanasoran.

A place for the spreading out of nets shall she be in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal: and she shall become a spoil to the nations.

6 Pamatyon pinaagi sa mga espada ang iyang mga anak nga babaye diha sa kaumahan, ug masayod sila nga ako mao si Yahweh.'

And her daughters that are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

7 Tungod kay mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh: Tan-awa, dalhon ko gikan sa amihanan si Nabucadnezar nga hari sa Babilonia, hari sa mga hari, batok sa Tyre, uban sa mga kabayo ug mga karwahe, uban sa mga tigkabayo ug dakong pundok sa katawhan.

For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will bring against Tyre Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, from the north, the king of kings, with horses, and with chariot's, and with horsemen, and an assemblage, and a numerous people.

8 Pamatyon niya ang imong mga anak nga babaye diha sa uma. Palibotan niya kamo ug magtukod ug agianan diha sa imong mga pader ug mopataas sa iyang mga salipod batok kanimo.

Thy daughters in the field will he slay with the sword: and he shall place around thee works of attack, and cast up against thee a mound, and erect against thee a target-fence.

9 Ipahimutang niya ang troso aron sa pagguba sa imong mga pader, ug lumpagon sa iyang mga hinagiban ang imong mga tore.

And his catapults shall he set against thy walls, and thy towers shall he break down with his axes.

10 Daghan ang iyang mga kabayo hinungdan nga ang ilang mga abog maoy motabon kanimo. Mauyog ang imong mga pader tungod sa dahunog sa tigkabayo, mga karomata, ug mga karwahe. Sa dihang mosulod siya sa imong mga ganghaan, mosulod siya nga sama sa mga tawo nga mosulod sa usa ka siyudad nga naguba na ang mga pader.

By reason of the abundance of his horses shall the dust they raise cover thee: by reason of the noise of horsemen, and wheels, and chariots, shall thy walls quake, when he entereth into thy gates, as men enter into a city that is broken in.

11 Ang kuko sa iyang mga kabayo magtunobtunob sa inyong mga agianan. Pamatyon niya ang imong mga katawhan pinaagi sa espada ug mahagba ang imong kusgan nga mga poste ngadto sa yuta.

With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: thy people will he slay with the sword, and the statues of thy strength shall come down to the ground.

12 Ilogon nila ang imong mga kabtangan ug imbargohon ang imong mga baligya. Lumpagon nila ang imong mga pader ug gub-on ang maanindot nimo nga mga balay. Ang imong mga bato, mga timbre, ug ang mga ginuba, ipanglabay nila ngadto sa mga katubigan.

And they shall plunder thy riches, and make a spoil of thy merchandise; and they shall break down thy walls, and thy pleasure-houses shall they pull down: and thy stones and thy timber and thy earth shall they throw into the midst of the water.

13 Pahunongon ko ang kasaba sa imong mga alawiton. Dili na gayod madunggan ang tingog sa imong mga alpa.

And I will cause the sound of thy songs to cease: and the tones of thy harps shall not be heard any more.

14 Himoon ko ikaw nga lunlon bato, mahimo kang dapit nga bularanan sa mga pukot. Dili kana gayod matukod pag-usab, tungod kay, Ako si Yahweh nga Ginoo mao ang nagsulti niini.

And I will change thee into a naked rock; a place to spread out nets upon shalt thou be; thou shalt not be rebuilt any more; for I the Lord have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.

15 Ang Ginoong Dios miingon niini ngadto sa Tyre, 'Dili ba mangatay-og ang mga isla pinaagi sa kakusog sa imong pagkahagba, ug pinaagi sa mga pag-agulo sa tanang samdan sa dihang maanaa na sa inyong taliwala ang makalilisang nga pagpamatay?

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal to Tyre, Truly at the noise of thy fall, when the deadly wounded whine, when the slaughter taketh place in the midst of thee, shall the islands quake.

16 Unya manganaog ang tanang mga prinsipe sa dagat gikan sa ilang mga trono ug hukason ang ilang mga bisti ug huboon ang ilang binurdahang mga sinina. Bistihan nila ang ilang mga kaugalingon uban ang pagpangurog, ug manglingkod sila sa yuta ug magkurog sa mataghigayon, ug mangluspad sila tungod kanimo.

Then shall all the princes of the sea come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and their broidered garments shall they put off: with trembling shall they clothe themselves; upon the ground shall they sit, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished concerning thee.

17 Magsubo sila alang kanimo ug moingon, 'Nganong nangapukan man kamong mga manlalayag. Ang inilang siyudad nga hilabihang kakusgan—karon nawala na sa dagat. Ang usa nga nakapuyo kaniya maoy nagdala ug kasamok ngadto sa matag-usa kanila nga nagpuyo duol kanila.

And they shall lift up over thee a lamentation, and say to thee, How art thou lost, that wast inhabited [safely] by reason of the seas: O renowned city, which was strong on the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all that dwelt around her!

18 Karon magkurog ang kabaybayonan sa adlaw sa imong pagkapukan. Nalisang ang mga isla sa kadagatan, tungod kay namatay ka man.'

Now shall the isles tremble on the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy end.

19 Tungod kay miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Sa dihang himoon ko ikaw nga biniyaang siyudad, sama sa ubang mga siyudad nga karon wala na mapuy-i, sa dihang palutawon ko ang mga lawom batok kanimo, ug sa dihang motabon kanimo ang dakong tubig,

For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When I render thee a ruined city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I bring up over thee the deep, and when the great waters cover thee:

20 unya dad-on ko ikaw ngadto sa karaang kapanahonan, sama sa uban nga miadto na sa ilalom sa yuta; tungod kay papuy-on ko ikaw sa pinaka-ubos nga bahin sa yuta sama sa mga guba nga anaa sa karaang mga panahon. Tungod niini dili kana mobalik ug mobarog sa yuta sa mga buhi.

Then will I bring thee down with those that descend into the pit, unto the people of olden time, and I will cause thee to dwell in the land of the nether world, among ruins of ancient days, with those that go down to the pit, in order that thou mayest not be inhabited; but I will bestow glory in the land of life.

21 Pahamtangan ko ikaw ug katalagman, ug mawala ka hangtod sa kahangtoran. Unya pangitaon ka, apan dili ka na gayod makaplagan pag-usab—mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”

As though thou hadst not been will I render thee, and thou shalt be no more: and thou shalt be sought for, but thou shalt never be found any more to eternity, saith the Lord Eternal.
