Ezequiel 24
1 Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh sa ika-siyam nga tuig, sa ika-napulo nga bulan, ug sa ika-napulo nga adlaw sa mao nga bulan, nga nag-ingon,
And the word of the Lord came unto me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, saying,
2 “Anak sa tawo, isulat ang ngalan niining adlawa, niining maong adlawa, tungod kay karong adlawa gipalibotan sa hari sa Babilonia ang Jerusalem.
Son of man, write thee down the name of this day, of this same day: the king of Babylon hath advanced against Jerusalem on this same day.
3 Busa pagsulti ug panultihon batok niining masinupakon nga panimalay, usa ka sambingay. Sultihi sila, 'Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Itak-ang ang kaldero. Itak-ang kini ug bubo-i kini ug tubig.
And speak concerning the rebellious family a parable, and say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Set on the pot, set it on, and also pour water into it;
4 Pagkuha ug pipila ka karne sulod niini, matag maayo nga bahin—paa ug abaga— ug pun-a kini sa pinakamaayo nga mga bukog.
Gather the proper pieces into it, every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it up with the choice bones.
5 Ihawa ang labing maayo sa panon sa mananap ug isugnod sa ilalom niini ang mga bukog. Pabukala kini ug lutoa ang mga bukog niini.
Take the choice of the flock, and make also a fire for the bones under it: cause it to seethe well, that even the bones therein may be fully boiled through.
6 Busa miingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Pagkaalaot sa siyudad sa dugo, ang kaldero nga gitaya na ug dili na mawala pa kana nga taya. Isa-isaha kini pagkuha, apan ayaw pagripa alang niini.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Woe to the city of blood-guiltiness, to the pot the scum of which is yet in it, and the scum of which is not gone out of it! one of its pieces after the other take out from it: no lot is cast for it.
7 Tungod kay ang iyang dugo anaa sa iyang taliwala. Gipahimutang niya kini sa hamis nga bato; wala niya kini gibubo sa yuta diin kini matabonan sa abog,
For her blood was in the midst of her; on the naked rock did she place it: she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it over with dust.
8 busa nagdala kini ug kaligutgot ngadto sa hingpit nga panimalos. Gibutang ko ang iyang dugo ngadto sa hamis nga bato aron nga dili kini matabonan.
To cause my fury to arise to take vengeance, do I place her blood upon the naked rock, so that it shall not be covered up.
9 Busa, nagsulti niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Pagkaalaot sa siyudad sa dugo. Padak-on ko usab ang tinapok nga sugnod.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Woe to the city of blood-guiltiness! I also will myself build up a large burning pile,
10 Dapoga ang mga sugnod ug paghaling. Lutoa pag-ayo ang karne ug isagol ang mga lamas ug paiga ang mga bukog.
Heaping on the wood, kindling the fire, thoroughly boiling the flesh, and stirring the mixture, that the bones may be scorched.
11 Unya itak-ang ang kaldero diha sa baga, aron mainit ug masunog ang bronsi, aron matunaw ang kahugaw nga anaa niini, ug mawala ang taya.'
Then will I set it empty upon its coals, in order that it may become hot, and its copper be made to glow, and its uncleanness may be molten in it, that its scum may be consumed.
12 Gikapoy siya tungod sa iyang paghago, apan wala natangtang diha kaniya ang taya pinaagi sa kalayo.
With fraud hath she wearied [the poor]; therefore shall not go forth from her the greatness of her scum: through fire shall her scum [be removed].
13 Ang imong makauulaw nga binuhatan mao ang imong pagkahugaw, tungod kay gihinloan ko na ikaw, apan nagpakahugaw ka gihapon. Wala ka gihapon nakalingkawas gikan sa imong pagkahugaw hangtod nga ipahimutang ko diha kanimo ang akong kaligutgot.
In thy uncleanness is [thy] incest; because I endeavored to cleanse thee, and thou wouldst not be clean, thou shalt not be cleansed from thy uncleanness any more, until I have assuaged my fury on thee.
14 Ako, si Yahweh, ang namulong niini, ug buhaton ko kini. Dili ako mohunong ni magpahulay gikan niini. Sama sa imong binuhatan, ug sa imong mga buluhaton, hukman ka gayod nila! —mao kini ang gipamulong ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”
I the Lord have spoken it; it cometh to pass, and I will do it; I will not recall my decree, and I will not have pity, nor will I repent: according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall men judge thee, saith the Lord Eternal.
15 Unya miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-igon,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
16 “Anak sa tawo! Tan-awa, kuhaon ko gikan kanimo ang gikahimut-an sa imong mga mata inubanan sa hampak, apan kinahanglan nga dili ka magbangotan o ni maghilak, ug kinahanglan nga dili motulo ang imong luha.
Son of man, behold, I will take away from thee the desire of thy eyes by a sudden death; but thou shalt neither mourn nor weep, nor shalt thou shed a tear.
17 Kinahanglan mag-agulo ka sa hilom. Ayaw paghaya ug minatay. Pagpurong ug sul-oba ang imong mga sandalyas, apan ayaw taboni ang imong bangas o mokaon ug tinapay sa kalalakin-an nga nagbangotan tungod sa pagkamatay sa ilang mga asawa.”
Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the deceased, thy bonnet bind around thy head, and thy shoes put on thy feet, and cover not thyself to thy upper lip, and eat not the bread of [other] men.
18 Busa nakigsulti ako sa katawhan sa pagkabuntag, ug namatay ang akong asawa pagkagabii. Pagkabuntag gibuhat ko ang gisugo kanako.
And when I had spoken unto the people in the morning, my wife died at evening: and I did in the morning as I had been commanded.
19 Nangutana ang katawhan kanako, “Dili mo ba kami sultihan kung unsa ang pasabot niining mga butanga, ang mga butang nga imong gibuhat?”
And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things mean for us, that thou doest so?
20 Busa gisultihan ko sila, “Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-ingon,
And I said unto them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
21 'Sultihi ang panimalay sa Israel, nag-ingon niini si Yahweh nga Ginoo: Tan-awa! Panamastamasan ko ang akong balaang dapit— ang garbo sa inyong gahom, ang gikahimut-an sa inyong mga mata, ug ang gitinguha sa inyong kalag, ug malaglag pinaagi sa espada ang nangabiyaan ninyo nga anak nga mga lalaki ug anak nga mga babaye.
Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and the darling of your soul: and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword.
22 Unya buhaton ninyo ang tukmang butang sama sa akong gibuhat: Dili ninyo tabonan ang inyong bangas, ni mokaon sa tinapay sa nagbangotan nga kalalakin-an!
And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover yourselves to your upper lip, and the bread of other men shall ye not eat.
23 Hinuon magpurong kamo, ug magsuot ug sandalyas; dili na kamo magbangotan o maghilak, tungod kay malanay kamo sa inyong mga kasal-anan, ug mag-agulo ang matag-usa ka tawo alang sa iyang igsoon nga lalaki.
And your bonnets shall be around your heads, and your shoes shall be on your feet: ye shall not mourn nor shall ye weep; but ye shall pine away in your iniquities, and groan, looking one at the other.
24 Busa mahimong timailhan si Ezekiel alang kaninyo, buhaton usab ninyo sa umaabot ang tanan niyang gibuhat. Unya masayran ninyo nga ako ang Ginoo nga si Yahweh!”'
Thus shall Ezekiel be unto you for a token; in accordance with all that he hath done shall ye do: when this cometh, then shall ye know that I am the Lord Eternal.
25 Apan ikaw, anak sa tawo, sa adlaw nga dakpon ko ang ilang templo, nga mao ang ilang kalipay, ang ilang garbo, ug ang ilang nakita ug gitinguha—ug sa dihang kuhaon ko kanila ang ilang anak nga mga lalaki ug anak nga mga babaye—
Also, thou son of man, behold, on the day when I take from them their stronghold, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and the coveted object of their soul, their sons and their daughters, —
26 nianang adlawa, moabot diha kaninyo ang binihag nga nakaikyas aron sa paghatag kaninyo sa mga balita!
On that day there shall come one that hath escaped unto thee, and announce it to thy ears.
27 Nianang adlawa maabli ang inyong baba ug makigsulti kamo nianang nakaikyas nga binihag—dili na kamo magpakahilom pa. Mahimo kamong timailhan alang kanila aron nga masayran nila nga ako si Yahweh.”
On that day shall thy mouth be opened through him that hath escaped, and thou shalt speak, and thou shalt not be silenced any more: and thou shalt be a token unto them, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
