Ezequiel 13
1 Miabot na usab kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nagaingon,
And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 “Anak sa tawo, pagpanagna batok sa mga propeta nga nagapanagna sa Israel, ug sultihi kadtong nagapanagna nga subay sa ilang kaugalingong mga hunahuna, 'Paminawa ang pulong ni Yahweh.
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say to them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of Jehovah!
3 Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Pagkaalaot sa buangbuang nga mga propeta nga nagasunod sa ilang kaugalingon nga espiritu, apan wala gayoy nakita!
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4 Israel, daw sama sa ihalas nga mga iro diha sa biniyaan nga mga yuta ang inyong mga propeta.
Thy prophets, O Israel, are like the foxes in the deserts.
5 Wala kamo mangadto sa mga paril nga nakapalibot sa panimalay sa Israel aron ayohon ang guba nga mga bahin niini, aron nga malig-on sa gubat sa adlaw ni Yahweh.
Ye have not gone up into the breaches, nor built a wall around the house of Israel, to stand in battle in the day of Jehovah.
6 Adunay dili tinuod nga mga panan-awon ug mga panagna ang mga tawo, kadtong nag-ingon, “Mao kini, ug mao kana ang gipahayag ni Yahweh.” Wala sila gipadala ni Yahweh, apan gipalaom nila ang mga tawo nga mahitabo ang ilang mga mensahe.
They see falsehood, and lying divination. They say, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when Jehovah hath not sent them; and they cause men to hope for the fulfilment of the word.
7 Wala ba kamo nagsulti ug dili tinuod nga mga panan-awon ug naghimo ug bakak nga mga panagna, kamo nga nag-ingon, “Mao kini, ug mao kana ang gipahayag ni Yahweh” sa dihang wala man ako miingon?'
Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, and said, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when I have not spoken?
8 Busa miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini, 'Tungod kay nagbuhat man kamo ug dili tinuod nga mga panan-awon ug nagsulti ug mga bakak—busa mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo batok kaninyo:
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood and have seen a lie, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
9 Makigbatok ang akong kamot ngadto sa mga propeta nga adunay dili tinuod nga mga panan-awon ug naghimo ug bakak nga mga panagna. Dili sila mahiapil sa tigom sa akong katawhan, o malangkob sa listahan sa panimalay sa Israel; kinahanglan nga dili gayod sila moadto sa yuta sa Israel. Aron nga mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh nga Ginoo!
My hand shall be against the prophets that see falsehood and divine lies. They shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the register of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
10 Tungod niini, ug tungod kay gipahisalaag nila ang akong katawhan ug miingon, “Kalinaw!” sa dihang walay kalinaw, nagtukod sila ug mga paril nga ilang pintalan ug puti.'
Because, yea, because they seduce my people, and say, “Peace!” when there is no peace; and one buildeth up a wall, and, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar;
11 Sultihi kadtong nagpintal ug puti sa paril, 'Malumpag kini; mobundak ang kusog nga ulan, ug magpadala ako ug ulan nga ice, ug usa ka unos aron nga malumpag kini.
say to them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall; there shall be an overflowing shower, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12 Tan-awa, malumpag ang paril. Wala ba kamo sultihi sa uban, “Asa man ang pintal nga inyong gitabon niini?”
So when the wall is fallen, shall not men say to you, “Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?”
13 Busa miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Magpadala ako ug unos tungod sa akong kapungot, ug magbunok ang ulan tungod sa akong kaligutgot! Laglagon kini sa hingpit pinaagi sa ulan nga ice tungod sa akong kapungot.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury, and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14 Kay pagalumpagon ko gayod ang paril nga inyong gitabonan ug pintal, ug pagalumpagon ko kini ngadto sa yuta hangtod nga makita na ang mga patukoranan niini. Busa malumpag kini, ug madat-ogan gayod kamo sa taliwala niini. Unya mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh.
Thus I will break down the wall which ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and will bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered; it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.
15 Kay pagalaglagon ko sa hingpit ang paril ug kadtong nagpaputi niini tungod sa akong kapungot. Sultihan ko ikaw, “Nahanaw na ang paril, ni ang mga tawo nga nagpaputi niini—
Thus will I accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor they that daubed it;
16 ang mga propeta sa Israel nga nanagna mahitungod sa Jerusalem ug niadtong adunay mga panan-awon sa kalinaw alang kaniya. Apan walay kalinaw! —mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”'
even the prophets of Israel, who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and see visions of peace for her when there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
17 Busa ikaw, anak sa tawo, pagpakig-atubang batok sa mga anak nga babaye sa imong katawhan nga nanagna gikan sa ilang kaugalingong mga hunahuna, ug pagpanagna batok kanila.
Likewise, son of man, set thou thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them.
18 Isulti, 'Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Pagkaalaot sa mga babaye nga nagbuhat ug mga anting-anting diha sa tanang bahin sa ilang kamot ug nagbuhat ug nagkalainlain nga sukod sa mga belo alang sa ilang mga ulo, aron gamiton sa pagpanglimbong sa mga tawo. Limbongan mo ba ang akong katawhan apan luwason ang inyong mga kaugalingong kinabuhi?
And say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew cushions for all elbows, and make pillows for heads of every stature, to ensnare men to destruction! Will ye hunt the lives of my people, and shall ye save your own?
19 Gipasipad-an mo ako diha sa akong katawhan alang sa pipila ka kumkom nga sebada ug mga tinipik sa tinapay, aron sa pagpatay sa mga tawo nga dili angay mamatay, ug pagbuhi niadtong dili na unta angay mabuhi, tungod sa inyong mga bakak ngadto sa akong katawhan nga nakadungog kaninyo.
And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley, and for pieces of bread, slaying them that should not die, and saving them alive that should not live, by lying to my people, who hearken to your lies?
20 Busa miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Supak ako niadtong mga anting-anting nga inyong gigamit aron sa paglit-ag sa kinabuhi sa mga tawo nga daw mga langgam lamang sila. Tinuod gayod, pagakuhaon ko kana gikan sa inyong mga bukton; ug kadtong mga tawo nga inyong gilit-ag sama sa mga langgam—pagabuhian ko sila.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will set myself against the cushions with which ye ensnare men to destruction, so that they shall escape you; and I will tear them from your arms, and make them free whom ye would ensnare, so that they shall escape you.
21 Gision ko ang inyong mga belo ug luwason ko ang akong katawhan gikan sa inyong kamot, aron nga makalingkawas na sila sa inyong mga kamot. Mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh.
Your pillows also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be ensnared, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
22 Tungod kay gipaluya ninyo ang kasingkasing sa mga tawong matarong pinaagi sa mga bakak, bisan tuod ug wala nako tinguhaa ang iyang pagkaluya, ug tungod kay gidasig hinuon ninyo ang binuhatan sa usa ka tawong daotan aron nga dili siya magbag-o aron nga maluwas ang iyang kinabuhi—
Because with lies ye have made sad the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life;
23 busa dili na kamo makabuhat ug dili tinuod nga mga panan-awon o makapadayon sa paghimo ug mga pagpanagna, tungod kay luwason ko ang akong katawhan gikan sa inyong kamot. Mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh.”'
therefore shall ye no more see falsehood, nor divine divinations; but I will deliver my people out of your hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
