Ezequiel 12
1 Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-ingon,
The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 “Anak sa tawo, nagpuyo ka taliwala sa masinupakon nga panimalay, diin aduna silay mga mata aron sa pagtan-aw apan dili sila makakita; ug aduna silay mga dalunggan aron maminaw apan dili makadungog, tungod kay masinupakon man sila nga panimalay.
Son of man, in the midst of a rebellious family art thou dwelling, who have eyes to see, and see not; who have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious family.
3 Busa alang kanimo, anak sa tawo, andama ang imong mga butang alang sa pagbihag kanimo, ug pagsugod sa paglakaw panahon sa adlaw diha sa ilang atubangan, tungod kay pagabihagon ko ikaw sa ilang atubangan gikan sa imong dapit ngadto sa laing dapit. Tingali ug makakita sila, bisan pa ug masinupakon sila nga panimalay.
But thou, O son of man, prepare for thyself vessels for going into exile, and wander away by day before their eyes; and thou shalt wander away from thy place to another place before their eyes: perhaps they may become aware that they are a rebellious family.
4 Dad-on nimo ang imong mga butang alang sa pagbihag kanimo samtang adlaw pa diha sa ilang atubangan; gawas inig kagabii diha sa ilang atubangan sa samang pamaagi nga bihagon ang usa ka tawo.
Then shalt thou carry forth thy vessels, like vessels of exile, by day before their eyes: and thou shalt go forth at evening before their eyes, as they do that go forth into exile.
5 Bakbaki ang paril diha sa ilang atubangan ug gawas agi niini.
Before their eyes break a hole through the wall, and carry [them] through it.
6 Pas-ana ang imong mga butang diha sa ilang atubangan, ug dad-a kini ngadto sa ngitngit. Taboni ang imong dagway, tungod kay kinahanglan nga dili nimo makita ang yuta, sanglit gihimo ko ikaw ingon nga timaan alang sa panimalay sa Israel.”
Before their [eyes] shalt thou bear them upon thy shoulders, in the dark shalt thou carry them forth: thy face shalt thou cover, that thou mayest not see the ground; for as a token have I set thee unto the house of Israel.
7 Busa gibuhat ko kini, sama sa gimando kanako. Gipagawas nako ang akong mga butang alang sa pagbihag samtang adlaw pa, ug gibakbakan ko ang paril inig kagabii. Gidala ko ang akong mga butang sa ngitngit, ug gipas-an ko kini diha sa ilang atubangan.
And I did so as I had been commanded; my vessels I carried forth by day, like vessels of exile, and in the evening I broke a hole for myself through the wall with my hand: in the dark I brought them forth, and I bore them upon my shoulder before their eyes.
8 Unya pagkabuntag miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-ingon,
And the word of the Lord came unto me in the morning, saying,
9 “Anak sa tawo, wala ba nakapangutana ang panimalay sa Israel, ang masinupakon nga panimalay, 'Unsa man ang imong ginabuhat?'
Son of man, have not the house of Israel, the rebellious family, said unto thee, What doest thou?
10 Sultihi sila, 'Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: kini nga buhat usa ka pagpanagna mahitungod sa prinsipe sa Jerusalem, ug sa tibuok panimalay sa Israel nga anaa sa ilang taliwala.'
Say thou unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, For the prince in Jerusalem is the doom, and for all the house of Israel, [and those] that are in the midst of them.
11 Isulti, 'Usa ako ka timaan alang kaninyo. Sama sa akong gibuhat, busa mao usab kini ang pagabuhaton ngadto kanila; pagadakpon ug pagabihagon sila.
Say, I am your token; just as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: into exile, into captivity, shall they wander.
12 Magapas-an sa iyang mga butang ang prinsipe nga uban kanila diha sa ngitngit, ug mogawas agi sa paril. Bakbakon nila ang paril ug ipagawas ang ilang mga butang. Tabonan niya ang iyang dagway, aron nga dili niya makita ang yuta.
And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth; through the wall shall they break a hole to carry [things] through it: his face shall he cover up, that he may not see the ground with his eyes.
13 Ibukhad ko ang akong pukot diha kaniya ug malit-ag ko siya; unya pagadad-on ko siya ngadto sa Babilonia, ang yuta sa mga Caldeanhon, apan dili niya kini makita. Mamatay siya didto.
And I will spread out my net over him, and he shall be caught in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon into the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, and there shall he die.
14 Patibulaagon ko usab sa nagkalainlain nga bahin kadtong mga nag-alirong nga motabang kaniya ug sa iyang tibuok kasundalohan, ug magpadala ako ug espada nga magagukod kanila.
And all that are round about him, those who assist him, and all the wings of his armies will I disperse toward every wind; and the sword will I draw out after them.
15 Unya mahibaloan nila nga ako si Yahweh, sa dihang patibulaagon ko sila diha sa mga kanasoran ug ipakatag sila sa tibuok kayutaan.
And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.
16 Apan luwason ko ang pipila sa ilang mga kalalakin-an gikan sa espada, kagutom, ug hampak, aron nga adunay makalista sa tanan nilang kadaotan diha sa kayutaan diin ko sila gikuha, aron nga mahibaloan nila nga ako si Yahweh.”'
But I will leave of them men few in number from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence: in order that they may relate all their abominations among the nations whither they shall have come; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
17 Miabot ang pulong ni Yahweh kanako, nga nag-ingon,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
18 “Anak sa tawo, kaona ang imong tinapay ug imna ang imong tubig uban sa pagpangurog tungod sa kahadlok ug kabalaka.
Son of man, thy bread shalt thou eat with quaking, and thy water shalt thou drink with trembling and with anxious care.
19 Unya ingna ang katawhan sa yuta, “Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini mahitungod sa mga lumolupyo sa Jerusalem, ug sa yuta sa Israel: Pagakan-on nila ang ilang tinapay ug pagaimnon nila ang ilang tubig uban sa pagpangurog tungod sa kahadlok, sanglit pagakawaton ang tanang anaa sa yuta tungod sa kabangis niadtong namuyo didto.
And thou shalt say unto the people of the land, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [and] concerning the land of Israel, Their bread shall they eat with anxious care, and their water shall they drink with confusion, for the cause that her land will be desolate, deprived of its plenteousness because of the violence of all those that dwell therein.
20 Busa maawaaw ang gipuy-an nga mga siyudad, ug mabiniyaan ang yuta; busa mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh.”'
And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid in ruins, and the land shall be made desolate: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
21 Miabot pag-usab kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
22 “Anak sa tawo, unsa man kining panultihon nga anaa sa yuta sa Israel nga nagaingon, 'Gilugwayan ang mga adlaw, ug nangapakyas ang matag panan-awon'?
Son of man, what sort of proverb is that which ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are lasting long, and lost is every vision?
23 Busa, sultihi sila, 'Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Pagataposon ko na kini nga panultihon, ug dili na gayod kini isulti pa sa mga Israelita.' Sultihi sila, 'Haduol na ang mga adlaw nga matuman ang matag panan-awon.
Therefore say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will cause this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but speak unto them, The days are coming nigh, and the word of every vision.
24 Tungod kay wala na gayoy dili tinuod nga mga panan-awon o mga maanindot nga pagpanagna diha sa panimalay sa Israel.
For there shall be no more any false vision and a deceptive divination within the house of Israel.
25 Tungod kay ako si Yahweh! Mosulti ako, ug tumanon ko ang mga pulong nga akong giingon. Dili na gayod malangay kining butanga. Tungod kay isulti ko kini nga pulong sa inyong mga adlaw, masinupakon nga panimalay, ug tumanon ko kini! —mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”'
For I am the Lord, —I do speak, and whatever word I do speak shall be done; it shall not be delayed any more; for in your days, O rebellious family, will I speak the word, and I will execute it, saith the Lord Eternal.
26 Miabot pag-usab kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-ingon,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
27 “Anak sa tawo! Tan-awa, miingon ang panimalay sa Israel, 'Dugay pa mahitabo ang panan-awon nga iyang nakita, ug mahitabo sa layo pa nga panahon ang iyang mga gipanagna.'
Son of man, behold, the house of Israel say, The vision that he foreseeth is for distant days, and for times that are far off doth he prophesy.
28 Busa sultihi sila, 'Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Dili na gayod malangay ang akong mga pulong, apan mahitabo na ang mga pulong nga akong gisulti—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”'
Therefore say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, There shall not be delayed any more one of all my words; but whatever word I do speak shall be done, saith the Lord Eternal.
