Ester 4
1 Sa dihang nasayran ni Mordecai ang tanan nga nahimo, gigisi niya ang iyang bisti ug nagbisti ug sako ug nagbutang ug mga abo. Miadto siya taliwala sa siyudad, ug mituaw sa makusog ug nagdangoyngoy.
And Mordecai he knew all that it had been done and he tore Mordecai clothes his and he put on sackcloth and ash[es] and he went out in [the] midst of the city and he cried a cry loud and bitter.
2 Mitungas siya hangtod lamang didto sa ganghaan sa hari, tungod kay walay bisan usa ang makasulod niini nga nagbisti ug sako.
And he went to before [the] gate of the king for not to go into [the] gate of the king in clothing of sackcloth.
3 Sa matag probinsya, kung asa man dapit naabot ang mando ug kasugoan sa hari, adunay dakong kasubo sa mga Judio, uban ang pagpuasa, panaghilak ug pagbangotan. Daghan kanila ang nagbisti ug sako ug naglingkod sa mga abo.
And in every province and province [the] place where [the] word of the king and law his [were] reaching mourning great [belonged] to the Jews and fasting and weeping and wailing sackcloth and ash[es] it was spread as a bed by many [people].
4 Sa dihang miadto ug gisuginlan si Ester sa iyang mga dalaga ug sa iyang mga sulugoon, nagmasulob-on pag-ayo ang rayna. Nagpadala siya ug mga bisti aron sul-obon ni Mordecai (aron iyang huboon ang iyang bisti nga sako), apan wala niya kini dawata.
(And they came *Q(k)*) [the] maids of Esther and eunuchs her and they told to her and she agonized the queen exceedingly and she sent garments to clothe Mordecai and to remove sackcloth his from on him and not he accepted [them].
5 Unya gipatawag ni Ester si Hatak, usa sa mga opisyal sa hari nga gitagana aron sa pag-alagad kaniya. Gisugo niya siya aron sa pag-adto kang Mordecai aron masayran kung unsa ang nahitabo ug kung unsa ang buot ipasabot niini.
And she summoned Esther Hathach one of [the] eunuchs of the king whom he had made stand before her and she commanded him on Mordecai to know what? [was] this and concerning what? [was] this.
6 Busa miadto si Hatak kang Mordecai didto sa plasa sa siyudad atubangan sa ganghaan sa hari.
And he went out Hathach to Mordecai to [the] open place of the city which [was] before [the] gate of the king.
7 Gibalita ni Mordecai kaniya ang tanan nga nahitabo kaniya, ug ang kinatibuk-ang kantidad sa plata nga gisaad ni Haman nga ibutang ngadto sa panudlanan sa hari aron pagapatyon ang mga Judio.
And he told to him Mordecai all that it had happened to him and - [the] exact amount of the silver which he had said Haman to weigh out to [the] treasuries of the king (for the Jews *Q(k)*) to destroy them.
8 Gihatagan usab niya siya ug usa ka kopya sa kasugoan nga gimantala sa Susa alang sa kalaglagan sa mga Judio. Gibuhat niya kini aron mapakita ni Hatak ngadto kang Ester, ug kinahanglan nga ihatag niya kaniya ang katungdanan sa pag-adto sa hari aron sa pagpakiluoy alang sa iyang pabor, ug aron sa magpakitabang kaniya alang sa iyang katawhan.
And copy of [the] writing of the law which it had been given in Susa to annihilate them he gave to him to show Esther and to tell to her and to command to her to go to the king to seek favor to him and to request from to before him on people her.
9 Busa miadto ug gisuginlan ni Hatak si Ester kung unsa ang gisulti ni Mordecai.
And he came Hathach and he told to Esther [the] words of Mordecai.
10 Unya nakigsulti si Ester kang Hatak ug giingnan niya nga mobalik ngadto kang Mordecai.
And she said Esther to Hathach and she commanded him to Mordecai.
11 Miingon siya, “nasayod ang tanang sulugoon sa hari ug ang katawhan sa mga probinsya sa hari nga si bisan kinsang lalaki o babaye nga moadto sa sulod nga hawanan nga wala gipatawag sa hari, adunay usa lamang ka balaod: nga kinahanglan siyang patyon—gawas lamang sa tawo nga tunolan sa hari sa bulawang setro aron nga mabuhi siya. Wala na ako gipatawag aron sa pag-adto sa hari sulod sa 30 na ka mga adlaw.”
All [the] servants of the king and [the] people of [the] provinces of the king [are] knowing that every man and woman who he goes to the king into the court inner who not he is summoned [is] one law his to put to death apart from that he extends to him the king [the] scepter of gold and he will live and I not (I have been summoned *L(abh)*) to go to the king this thirty day[s].
12 Busa gisugilon ni Hatak ang mga pulong ni Ester ngadto kang Mordecai.
And they told to Mordecai [the] words of Esther.
13 Gipadala pagbalik ni Mordecai kini nga mensahe: “Ayaw hunahunaa nga anaa ka sa palasyo sa hari, makalingkawas ka labaw pa sa ubang mga Judio.
And he said Mordecai to bring back to Esther may not you imagine in self your to escape [the] house of the king from all the Jews.
14 Kung magpakahilom ka niining taknaa, kahupayan ug kaluwasan ang mopatigbabaw alang sa mga Judio gikan sa laing dapit, apan ikaw ug ang panimalay sa imong amahan mangamatay. Kinsa man ang nasayod kung moabot ka niining harianon nga katungdanan alang sa panahon nga sama niini?”
That except certainly you will keep quiet at the time this relief and deliverance it will arise for the Jews from a place another and you and [the] house of father your you will perish and who? [is] knowing if for a time like this you have reached the queenhood.
15 Unya gipadala ni Ester kini nga mensahe ngadto kang Mordecai,
And she said Esther to bring back to Mordecai.
16 “Lakaw, tigoma ang tanang mga Judio nga nagpuyo sa Susa, ug pagpuasa alang kanako. Ayaw kamo pagkaon ni moinom sulod sa tulo ka adlaw, sa gabii o sa adlaw. Magapuasa usab ako ug ang akong kadalagahan sa samang paagi. Unya moadto ako sa hari, bisan tuod nga supak kini sa balaod, ug kung mamatay ako, mamatay gayod ako.”
Go gather all the Jews who are found in Susa and fast on me and may not you eat and may not you drink three days night and day also I and maids my I will fast thus and in such I will go to the king which not [is] according to the law and just as I have perished I have perished.
17 Miadto si Mordecai ug gibuhat ang tanang gisulti ni Ester nga iyang buhaton.
And he passed on Mordecai and he did according to all that she had commanded to him Esther.
