Deuteronomio 34
1 Mitungas si Moises gikan sa kapatagan sa Moab padulong sa Bukid sa Nebo, ngadto sa tumoy sa Pisga, nga atbang sa Jerico. Ug didto gipakita ni Yahweh kaniya ang tibuok yuta sa Gilead hangtod sa Dan,
Therefore, Moses ascended from the plains of Moab onto Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, opposite Jericho. And the Lord revealed to him the entire land of Gilead, as far as Dan,
2 ug ang tibuok Neftali, ug ang yuta sa Efraim ug Manases, ug ang tibuok yuta sa Juda, paingon sa dagat sa kasadpan,
and all of Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and the entire land of Judah, even to the furthest sea,
3 ug ang Negev, ug ang kapatagan sa walog sa Jerico, ang Siyudad sa mga Palmera, hangtod sa Zoar.
and the southern region, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho, the city of palms, as far as Zoar.
4 Miingon si Yahweh kaniya, “Mao kini ang yuta nga akong gisaad kang Abraham, kang Isaac, ug kang Jacob, nga nag-ingon, 'Igahatag ko kini sa imong mga kaliwatan.' Gipatan-aw ko ikaw niini sa imong mga mata, apan dili ka makaadto didto.”
And the Lord said to him: “This is the land, about which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to your offspring. You have seen it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over to it.”
5 Busa si Moises nga sulugoon ni Yahweh, namatay didto sa yuta sa Moab, sumala sa pulong nga gisaad ni Yahweh.
And Moses, the servant of the Lord, died in that place, in the land of Moab, by order of the Lord.
6 Gilubong siya ni Yahweh sa walog sa yuta sa Moab atbang sa Bet Peor, apan walay tawo nga nasayod kung asa ang iyang lubnganan hangtod niining adlawa.
And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab, opposite Peor. And no man knows where his sepulcher is, even to the present day.
7 120 ang pangidaron ni Moises sa dihang namatay siya; wala mahalap ang iyang mata, ni mokunhod ang iyang kusog.
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dimmed, nor were his teeth displaced.
8 Nagsubo ang katawhan sa Israel alang kang Moises sa kapatagan sa Moab sulod sa 30 ka mga adlaw, ug unya nahuman ang mga adlaw sa pagsubo alang kang Moises.
And the sons of Israel wept for him in the plains of Moab for thirty days. And then the days of their wailing, during which they mourned Moses, were completed.
9 Si Josue nga anak ni Nun napuno sa espiritu sa kaalam, tungod kay gitapion man ni Moises ang iyang kamot kaniya. Naminaw kaniya ang katawhan sa Israel ug nagbuhat kung unsa ang gisugo ni Moises.
Truly, Joshua, the son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the sons of Israel were obedient to him, and they did as the Lord instructed Moses.
10 Sukad kaniadto walay nitungha nga sama kang Moises nga propeta sa Israel, nga naila ni Yahweh sa nawong ug nawong.
And no other prophet rose up in Israel like Moses, one whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 Wala na gayoy nahisama kaniya nga propeta sa tanang ilhanan ug kahibulongan nga gipadala kaniya ni Yahweh aron buhaton ngadto sa yuta sa Ehipto, ngadto kang Paraon, ug sa tanan niyang mga sulugoon, ug sa tibuok niyang yuta.
one with all the signs and wonders, which he sent through him, to perform in the land of Egypt, against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land,
12 Wala na gayoy propeta nga sama kaniya sa tanang gamhanan, makalilisang nga mga buhat nga gibuhat ni Moises sa panan-aw sa tibuok Israel.
nor one with such a powerful hand and such great miracles as Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
