Amos 7
1 Mao kini ang gipakita ni Yahweh kanako, tan-awa, naghimo siya ug dulon ug milamoy sa nagsalingsing nga mga tanom, tan-awa, mao kini ang ulahi nga tanom human sa pag-ani sa hari.
The Lord God schewide these thingis to me; and lo! a makere of locust in bigynnyng of buriownynge thingis of euentid reyn, and lo! euentid reyn after the clippere of the kyng.
2 Sa dihang nahuman na sila sa pagkaon sa mga tanom sa yuta, miingon ako, “Ginoo nga Yahweh, palihog pasayloa; unsaon man paglingkawas ni Jacob? Kay diyutay kaayo siya.”
And it was don, whanne he hadde endid for to ete the erbe of erthe, Y seide, Lord God, Y biseche, be thou merciful; who schal reise Jacob, for he is litil?
3 Giusab ni Yahweh ang mahitungod niini. “Dili kini mahitabo,” miingon siya.
The Lord hadde merci on this thing; It schal not be, seide the Lord God.
4 Mao kini ang gipakita sa Ginoo nga si Yahweh kanako: Tan-awa, ang Ginoo nga si Yahweh nagtawag ug kalayo aron sa pagsilot. Nakauga kini sa kinahiladman sa katubigan ilalom sa kalibotan ug milamoy usab sa yuta.
The Lord God schewide to me these thingis; and lo! the Lord God schal clepe doom to fier, and it schal deuoure myche depthe of watir, and it eet togidere a part.
5 Apan miingon ako, “Ginoong Yahweh, palihog hunonga na; unsaon pagkalingkawas ni Jacob? Kay diyutay kaayo siya.”
And Y seide, Lord God, Y biseche, reste thou; who schal reise Jacob, for he is litil?
6 Nausab ang hunahuna ni Yahweh ang mahitungod niini, “Dili usab kini mahitabo,” miingon ang Ginoo nga si Yahweh.
The Lord hadde merci on this thing; But and this thing schal not be, seide the Lord God.
7 Mao kini ang gipakita ni Yahweh kanako: Tan-awa, mitindog ang Ginoo tupad sa parel, adunay tunton sa iyang kamot.
The Lord God schewide to me these thingis; and lo! the Lord stondinge on a wal plastrid, and in the hond of hym was a trulle of a masoun.
8 Miingon si Yahweh kanako, “Amos, unsa may imong nakita?” mitubag ako “Usa ka tunton.” Unya ang Ginoo miingon, “Tan-awa, butangan ko ug tunton ang akong katawhan sa Israel. wala na akoy ibilin kanila.
And the Lord seide to me, What seest thou, Amos? And Y seide, A trulle of a masoun. And the Lord seide, Lo! I schal putte a trulle in the myddil of my puple Israel; Y schal no more putte to, for to ouerlede it;
9 Mahimong magun-ob ang hataas nga bahin ni Isaac, ang templo sa Israel magun-ob, ug ipabuntog ko ang balay ni Jeroboam pinaagi sa espada.”
and the hiy thingis of idol schulen be distried, and the halewyngis of Israel schulen be desolat; and Y schal rise on the hous of Jeroboam bi swerd.
10 Unya si Amazia, ang pari sa Betel, nagpadala ug mensahe ngadto kang Jeroboam, ang hari sa Israel: “Naglaraw si Amos batok kanimo taliwala sa balay sa Israel. Dili mapas-an sa yuta ang tanan niyang mga pulong.
And Amasie, prest of Bethel, sente to Jeroboam, kyng of Israel, and seide, Amos rebellide ayens thee, in the myddil of the hous of Israel; the lond mai not susteyne alle hise wordis.
11 Kay mao kini ang gisulti ni Amos, mamatay si Jeroboam pinaagi sa espada, ug sigurado nga mabihag ang Israel gikan sa iyang yuta.”
For Amos seith these thingis, Jeroboam schal die bi swerd, and Israel caitif schal passe fro his lond.
12 Miingon si Amazia ngadto kang Amos, “Mananagna, lakaw na, dagan balik sa yuta sa Juda, ug kaon didto ug tinapay ug pagpropesiya.
And Amasie seide to Amos, Thou that seest, go; fle thou in to the lond of Juda, and ete thou there thi breed; and there thou schalt profesie.
13 Apan ayaw na gayod pagpropiseya dinhi sa Betel, kay mao kini ang templo sa mga hari ug harianong balay.”
And thou schalt no more put to, that thou profesie in Bethel, for it is the halewyng of the king, and is the hous of the rewme.
14 Unya miingon si Amos kang Amazia, “Dili ako propeta ni anak sa propeta. Usa lamang ako ka magbalantay sa kahayopan, ug tig-atiman ako sa mga kahoy nga hegira.
And Amos answeride, and seide to Amasie, Y am not a profete, and Y am not sone of profete; but an herde of neet Y am, drawyng vp sicomoris.
15 Apan gikuha ako ni Yahweh gikan sa pag-atiman sa kahayopan ug gisultihan ako, 'Lakaw, pagpropesiya sa akong katawhan sa Israel.'
And the Lord took me, whanne Y suede the floc; and the Lord seide to me, Go, and profesie thou to my puple Israel.
16 Karon paminawa ang pulong ni Yahweh. Miingon ka, 'Ayaw pagpropesiya batok sa Israel, ug ayaw pagsulti batok sa balay ni Isaac.'
And now here thou the word of the Lord. Thou seist, Thou schalt not profesie on Israel, and thou schal not droppe on the hous of idol.
17 Busa mao kini ang gisulti ni Yahweh, 'Ang imong asawa mahimong mananapaw sa siyudad; ang inyong mga anak nga lalaki ug mga anak nga babaye mangamatay pinaagi sa espada; sukdon ang imong yuta ug pagabalhinon; mamatay ka sa hugaw nga yuta, ug sigurado gayod nga mabihag ang Israel gikan sa iyang yuta.'''
For this thing the Lord seith these thingis, Thi wijf schal do fornicacioun in the citee, and thi sones and thi douytris schal falle bi swerd, and thi lond schal be motun with a litil coord; and thou schalt die in a pollutid lond, and Israel caitif schal passe fro his lond.
