Amos 3

1 Paminawa kining pulong nga gisulti ni Yahweh batok kaninyo, katawhan sa Israel, batok sa tibuok kaliwatan nga akong gipalingkawas sa yuta sa Ehipto,

Sones of Israel, here ye the word which the Lord spak on you, and on al the kynrede, which Y ledde out of the lond of Egipt,

2 “Kamo lamang ang akong gipili gikan sa tanang kaliwatan sa kalibotan. Busa silotan ko kamo sa tanan ninyong mga sala.”

and seide, Oneli Y knewe you of alle the kynredis of erthe; therfor Y schal visite on you alle youre wickidnessis.

3 Magkuyog ba ang duha ka tawo kung wala sila magkasinabot?

Whether tweyne schulen go togidere, no but it acorde to hem?

4 Mongulob ba ang liyon nga anaa sa lasang kung wala siyay tukbonon? Motingog ba ang batan-ong liyon gikan sa iyang puy-anan kung wala siyay natukob?

Whether a lioun schal rore in a forest, no but he haue prey? Whether the whelp of a lioun schal yyue vois fro his denne, no but he take ony thing?

5 Malit-ag ba ang langgam sa yuta kung wala kini gibutangan ug paon? Mobitik ba ang lit-ag gikan sa yuta kung walay nalit-ag?

Whether a brid schal falle in to a snare of erthe, with outen a foulere? Whether a snare schal be takun awei fro erthe, bifor that it tak sum thing?

6 Dili ba malisang ang katawhan kung motingog ang trumpeta sa siyudad? Moabot ba ang katalagman sa siyudad kung wala kini gipadala ni Yahweh?

Whether a trumpe schal sowne in a citee, and the puple schal not drede? Whether yuel schal be in a citee, which yuel the Lord schal not make?

7 Dili gayod mobuhat ug bisan unsa si Yahweh nga inyong Ginoo gawas kung ipadayag niya ang iyang laraw ngadto sa iyang mga sulugoon nga mga propeta.

For the Lord God schal not make a word, no but he schewe his priuyte to hise seruauntis profetis.

8 Mingulob na ang liyon; kinsa ba ang dili mahadlok? Misulti si Yahweh nga inyong Dios; kinsa ba ang dili managna?

A lioun schal rore, who schal not drede? the Lord God spak, who schal not profesie?

9 Ipadayag kini ngadto sa mga kuta didto sa Asdod, ug sa mga kuta sa yuta sa Ehipto; isulti, “Pagtigom kamo sa kabukiran sa Samaria ug tan-awa ang dakong katingalahan nga anaa kaniya, ug kung unsa ang pagpanlupig nga anaa sa babaye.

Make ye herd in the housis of Azotus, and in the housis of the lond of Egipt; and seie ye, Be ye gaderid togidere on the hillis of Samarye, and se ye many woodnessis in the myddis therof, and hem that suffren fals calenge in the priuy places therof.

10 Kay wala sila masayod kung unsaon pagbuhat sa husto—mao kini ang pamahayag ni Yahweh—Naghimo sila ug kasamok ug kadaot sa ilang mga kuta.”

And thei kouden not do riytful thing, seith the Lord, and tresouriden wickidnesse and raueyn in her housis.

11 Busa, mao kini ang gisulti ni Yahweh nga Ginoo, “Palibotan sa kaaway ang yuta. Lumpagon ug kawatan niya ang mga kuta.”

Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, The lond schal be troblid, and be cumpassid; and thi strengthe schal be drawun doun of thee, and thin housis schulen be rauyschid.

12 Mao kini ang gisulti ni Yahweh, “Sama sa duha lamang ka mga paa, o usa ka bahin sa dalunggan, ang maluwas sa magbalantay gikan sa baba sa liyon busa maluwas ba ang katawhan sa Israel nga nagpuyo sa Samaria, uban sa usa ka bahin sa lingkoranan, o ang bahin sa usa ka higdaanan.”

The Lord God seith these thingis, As if a schepherd rauyschith fro the mouth of a lioun tweyne hipis, ether the laste thing of the eere, so the children of Israel schulen be rauyschid, that dwellen in Samarie, in the cuntrei of bed, and in the bed of Damask.

13 Paminaw ug pagpamatuod batok sa balay ni Jacob —mao kini ang gisulti ni Yahweh nga inyong Ginoo, ang Dios nga gamhanan,

Here ye, and witnesse ye in the hous of Jacob, seith the Lord God of oostis.

14 “Kay sa adlaw nga akong silotan ang mga sala sa Israel, silotan ko usab ang mga halaran sa Betel. Pamutlon ang mga sungay sa halaran ug mangahulog ngadto sa yuta.

15 Lumpagon ko ang balay sa tingtugnaw uban ang balay sa ting-init. Mangahanaw ang mga balay nga hinimo sa bato nga ivory, ug mangawagtang ang dagkong mga balay, —mao kini ang gisulti ni Yahweh.”

And Y schal smyte the wynter hous with the somer hous, and the housis of yuer schulen perische, and many housis schulen be distried, seith the Lord.
