Mga Buhat 3
1 Karon si Pedro ug si Juan miadto sa templo sa oras sa pag-ampo, ang ikasiyam nga oras.
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple, at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].
2 Usa ka tawo nga bakol sukad sa iyang pagkatawo, gidala sa matag adlaw ug gibutang didto sa pultahan sa templo nga gitawag ug Matahom, aron makapangayo siya ug limos gikan sa mga tawo nga moadto sa templo.
And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.
3 Sa dihang nakita niya si Pedro ug si Juan nga mosulod sa templo, nagpakilimos siya.
Who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked an alms.
4 Si Pedro ug si Juan mitutok kaniya ug miingon, “Tan-awa kami.”
And Peter fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 Ang bakol mitan-aw kanila, ug nagdahom nga makadawat siya ug mga butang nga gikan kanila.
And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Apan si Pedro miingon, “Plata ug bulawan walay akoa, apan kong unsa lang ang naa kanako, maoy ihatag ko kanimo. “Pinaagi sa ngalan ni Cristo Jesus nga taga Nazaret, lakaw.”
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have I give thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
7 Gigunitan ni Pedro ang iyang tuong kamot, ug gipatindog siya: ug dihadiha ang iyang tiil ug mga lutahan nakabaton ug kusog.
And he took him by the right hand, and lifted [him] up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 Milukso, ug mitindog ang tawong bakol ug nagsugod siyag lakaw; misulod siya sa templo uban kang Pedro ug kang Juan, milakaw, naglukso-lukso, ug nagdayeg sa Dios.
And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 Ang tanang mga katawhan nakakita kaniya nga naglakaw ug nagdayeg sa Dios.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 Nabantayan nila nga kadto mao ang tawo nga kanunay naglingkod didto sa Matahom nga Ganghaan sa templo aron sa pagpakilimos; ug napuno sila sa katingala ug kahibulong tungod sa kung unsa ang nahitabo kaniya.
And they knew that it was he who sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened to him.
11 Samtang siya migunit kang Pedro ug kang Juan, ang mga tawo nanagan paduol kanila sa dapit nga ginatawag ug Portico ni Solomon, uban sa dakong kahibulong.
And as the lame man who was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
12 Sa dihang si Pedro nakakita niini, siya mitubag sa mga tawo, “Kamo nga mga katawhan sa Israel, nganong natingala man kamo? Nganong nagtutok man kamo kanamo, nagatuo ba kamo nga kami ang nakahimo kaniya sa pagpalakaw pinaagi sa among gahom o pagkadiosnon?
And when Peter saw [it], he answered to the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
13 Ang Dios ni Abraham, ug ni Isaac, ug ni Jacob, ang Dios sa atong mga amahan, nga nagpasidungog sa iyang sulugoon nga si Jesus. Nga mao ang inyong gitugyan ug gisalikway atubangan ni Pilato, sa dihang nakahukom siya nga siya iyang buhian.
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let [him] go.
14 Gisalikway ninyo ang Usa nga Balaan ug Matarong, ug inyong gipangayo nga maoy buhian ang mamumuno alang kaninyo.
But ye denied the Holy One, and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted to you,
15 Gipatay ninyo ang Prinsipe sa kinabuhi; nga gibanhaw sa Dios gikan sa mga patay; ug kita ang mga saksi niini.
And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.
16 Karon ang pagtuo sa iyahang ngalan maoy nakapalig-on niining tawhana, nga inyong nakita ug nailhan. Oo, ang iyang pagtuo kang Jesus maoy naghatag kaniya ug hingpit nga kaayohan diha sa inyong atubangan.
And his name, through faith in his name, hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yes, the faith which is by him, hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 Karon, mga igsoon, nasayod ako nga wala kamoy nahibal-an, ingon usab sa gibuhat sa inyong mga pangulo.
And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance ye did [it], as [did] also your rulers.
18 Apan ang mga butang nga gisulti sa Dios pinaagi sa baba sa mga propeta, nga kinahanglan ang iyang Cristo moantos, iya nang natuman karon.
But those things which God before had shown by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 Busa, paghinulsol, ug balik, aron ang inyong mga sala pagapapason, ug aron moabot ang mga higayon sa paglig-on sa presensya sa Ginoo;
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord,
20 ug ipadala niya ang Cristo nga pinili alang kaninyo, nga si Jesus.
And he will send Jesus Christ, who before was preached to you:
21 Siya nga mao ang anaa sa mga langit kinahanglan pagadawaton ug magpabilin hangtod nga moabot ang takna sa pagpasig-uli sa tanang mga butang, nga sumala sa gipamulong sa Dios sa baba sa iyang mga balaang propeta sukad sa karaang panahon. (aiōn g165)
Whom the heaven must receive, until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets, since the world began. (aiōn g165)
22 Si Moises nagaingon, 'Ang Ginoong Dios motuboy sa usa ka propeta nga sama kanako gikan sa inyong mga kaigsoonan. Magapatalinghog kamo sa tanang mga butang nga igasulti niya nganha kaninyo.'
For Moses truly said to the fathers, A Prophet will the Lord your God raise up to you, of your brethren, like me; him shall ye hear in all things, whatever he shall say to you.
23 Ug mahitabo nga ang matag-usa nga dili magapatalinghog sa maong propeta mapukan gayod diha sa mga katawhan.
And it shall come to pass, [that] every soul who will not hear that Prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Oo, ang tanang mga propeta gikan kang Samuel ug hangtod niadtong nagsunod kaniya, tanan naghisgot, ug sila usab nagsulti niining mga adlawa.
And all the prophets also from Samuel, and those that follow, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold these days.
25 Kamo ang mga anak sa mga propeta ug sa kasabotan nga gihimo sa Dios tali sa inyong mga katigulangan, ingon sa gisulti niya kang Abraham, 'Pinaagi sa imong binhi ang tanang pamilya sa kalibotan pagapanalanginan.'
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Human gibanhaw sa Dios ang iyang Alagad, gipadala siya una nganha kaninyo, aron nga panalanginan kamo ug motalikod kamo diha sa inyong pagkadaotan.
To you first, God having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
