2 Samuel 21
1 Adunay kagutom sa panahon ni David sulod sa tulo ka tuig, ug si David nangita sa panagway ni Yahweh. Busa miingon si Yahweh, “Midangat kining kagutom kanimo tungod kang Saul ug sa iyang mamumuno nga pamilya, tungod kay iyang gipangpatay ang taga-Gibeon.”
And it was a famine in [the] days of David three years year after year and he sought David [the] face of Yahweh. And he said Yahweh because of Saul and because of [the] house of blood on that he put to death the Gibeonites.
2 Karon ang mga taga-Gibeon dili gikan sa katawhan sa Israel; gikan sila sa nahibilin nga Amorihanon. Ang katawhan sa Israel nanumpa nga dili nila sila patyon, apan misulay si Saul sa pagpatay kanila sa tanang paagi alang sa katawhan sa Israel ug Juda.
And he summoned the king the Gibeonites and he said to them and the Gibeonites not [were] from [the] people of Israel they that except from [the] remnant of the Amorite[s] and [the] people of Israel they had sworn an oath to them and he had sought Saul to strike down them because was zealous he for [the] people of Israel and Judah.
3 Busa gipatawag ni Haring David ang mga taga-Gibeon ug miingon kanila, “Unsa man ang angay kong buhaton alang kaninyo? Unsaon ko man pagpapas sa sala, aron imong panalanginan ang katawhan ni Yahweh, nga maoy manununod sa iyang pagkamaayo ug sa iyang mga saad?”
And he said David to the Gibeonites what? will I do for you and how? will I make amends and bless [the] inheritance of Yahweh.
4 Ang mga taga-Gibeon mitubag kaniya, “Dili kini mahitungod sa plata ug bulawan tali kanamo ug sa pamilya ni Saul. Sa samang paagi dili kini alang kanamo aron ibutang sa kamatayon ang si bisan kinsa nga tawo sa Israel.” Mitubag si David, “Unsa man ang inyong ginasulti nga kinahanglan kong buhaton alang kaninyo?”
And they said to him the Gibeonites not (to us *Q(K)*) silver and gold with Saul and with house his and not to us a man to put to death in Israel and he said what? [are] you saying I will do for you.
5 Mitubag sila sa hari, “Ang maong tawo misulay sa pagpatay kanamong tanan, nga naglaraw batok kanamo, aron nga mapukan kami karon ug walay luna sa mga utlanan sa Israel—
And they said to the king the man who he made an end of us and who he planned to us we were destroyed from standing in all [the] territory of Israel.
6 tugoti ang pito ka mga tawo gikan sa iyang kaliwat nga itugyan nganhi kanamo, ug bitayon namo sila sa atubangan ni Yahweh sa Gibea ni Saul, ang tawo nga gipili ni Yahweh.” Busa miingon ang hari, “Ihatag ko sila nganha kaninyo.”
(Let it be given *Q(K)*) to us seven men from descendants his and we will impale them to Yahweh at Gibeah of Saul [the] chosen one of Yahweh. And he said the king I I will give [them].
7 Apan gibangkaw sa hari si Mefiboset ang anak nga lalaki ni Jonatan ang anak nga lalaki ni Saul, tungod sa saad ni Yahweh tali kanila, tali kang David ug kang Jonatan ang anak nga lalaki ni Saul.
And he had compassion the king on Mephi-bosheth [the] son of Jonathan [the] son of Saul on [the] oath of Yahweh which [was] between them between David and between Jonathan [the] son of Saul.
8 Apan gikuha sa hari ang duha ka anak nga lalaki ni Rispa ang anak nga babaye ni Aia, nga mga anak niyang lalaki kang Saul— ang duha ka anak nga lalaki ginganlan ug Armoni ug Mefiboset; ug gikuha usab ni David ang lima ka anak nga lalaki ni Mical ang anak nga babaye ni Saul, nga iyang gimabdos kang Adriel ang anak nga lalaki ni Barzilai ang Meholahihanon.
And he took the king [the] two [the] sons of Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah whom she had borne to Saul Armoni and Mephibosheth and [the] five [the] sons of Michal [the] daughter of Saul whom she had borne to Adriel [the] son of Barzillai the Meholathite.
9 Gitugyan niya sila sa mga taga-Gibeon. Gibitay nila sila sa bungtod sa atubangan ni Yahweh, ug silang pito nangamatay. Gipatay sila sa panahon sa ting-ani, sa unang adlaw sa pagsugod sa ting-ani sa sebada.
And he gave them in [the] hand of the Gibeonites and they impaled them on the mountain before Yahweh and they fell ([the] seven of them *Q(K)*) together (and they *Q(k)*) they were put to death in [the] days of harvest in the first (at [the] beginning of *Q(K)*) [the] harvest of barley.
10 Unya si Rispa, ang anak nga babaye ni Aia, mikuha ug bisti nga sako ug gibuklad kini alang sa iyang kaugalingon didto sa bukid tupad sa patay nga mga lawas, sukad sa pagsugod sa ting-ani hangtod nga mibundak kanila ang ulan gikan sa kawanangan. Wala niya tugoti ang mga kalanggaman nga mosamok sa mga lawas sa adlaw o sa mga ihalas nga mananap sa gabii.
And she took Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah sackcloth and she spread out it for herself to the rock from [the] beginning of harvest until it was poured out water on them from the heavens and not she permitted [the] bird[s] of the heavens to rest on them by day and [the] animal[s] of the field night.
11 Gisulti kini kang David kung unsa ang gibuhat ni Rispa, ang anak nga babaye ni Aia, ang ulipon nga asawa ni Saul.
And it was told to David [that] which she had done Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah [the] concubine of Saul.
12 Busa miadto si David ug gikuha niya ang mga bukog ni Saul ug ang mga bukog ni Jonatan ang iyang anak nga lalaki gikan sa mga tawo sa Jabes Gilead, nga gikawat nila gikan sa plasa ni Bet San, kung diin sila gibitay sa mga Filistihanon, pagkahuman ug patay sa mga Filistihanon kang Saul didto sa Gilboa.
And he went David and he took [the] bones of Saul and [the] bones of Jonathan son his from with [the] citizens of Jabesh Gilead who they had stolen them from [the] open square of Beth Shan where (they had hung up them there [the] Philistines *Q(K)*) on [the] day struck down [the] Philistines Saul on Gilboa.
13 Gikuha ni David gikan didto ang mga bukog ni Saul ug ang mga bukog ni Jonatan ang iyang anak nga lalaki, ug gitigom nila ang mga bukog sa pito ka mga tawo nga gibitay usab.
And he brought up from there [the] bones of Saul and [the] bones of Jonathan son his and they gathered [the] bones of the impaled [men].
14 Gilubong nila ang mga bukog ni Saul ug Jonatan nga iyang anak nga lalaki sa nasod ni Benjamin sa Sela, sa lubnganan ni Kis nga iyang amahan. Gibuhat nila ang tanang gisugo sa hari. Human tubaga sa Dios ang ilang mga pag-ampo alang sa yuta.
And they buried [the] bones of Saul and Jonathan son his in [the] land of Benjamin at Zela in [the] tomb of Kish father his and they did all that he commanded the king and he was entreated God for the land after thus.
15 Unya miadto pag-usab ang mga Filistihanon aron sa pakiggubat sa Israel. Busa milugsong si David uban ang iyang mga kasundalohan ug nakiggubat batok sa mga Filistihanon. Giabot si David ug kakapoy sa pagpakiggubat.
And it belonged again war to the Philistines with Israel and he went down David and servants his with him and they fought with [the] Philistines and he was weary David.
16 Si Isbibenob, ang kaliwat sa mga higante, nga adunay bronsi nga bangkaw nga adunay 300 ka sekel ang gibug-aton ug nagtakin siya ug bag-ong espada, aron ipatay kang David.
(And Ishbi-*Q(K)*) Benob who - [was] among those born of the Raphah and [the] weight of spear his [was] three hundred [the] weight of bronze and he [was] girded a new [weapon] and he said to strike down David.
17 Apan si Abisai ang anak nga lalaki ni Zeruya miluwas kang David, gisulong ang Filistihanon, ug gipatay siya. Unya nanumpa ang mga tawo ni David nga nag-ingon,”Dili mo na kinahanglan nga moadto pa sa gubat uban kanamo, aron nga dili mo mapalong ang suga sa Israel.”
And he helped him Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah and he struck the Philistine and he killed him then they swore [the] men of David to him saying not you will go out again with us for battle and not you will extinguish [the] lamp of Israel.
18 Miabot ang higayon pagkahuman niini nga may gubat na usab sa mga Filistihanon didto sa Gob, sa dihang si Sibicai nga taga-Husa mipatay kang Sap, nga usa sa mga kaliwat ni Repaim.
And it was after thus and it was again war at Gob with [the] Philistines then he struck down Sibbecai the Hushathite Saph who [was] among those born of the Raphah.
19 Miabot na usab ang higayon nga adunay gubat sa mga Filistihanon didto sa Gob, nga si Elhanan ang anak nga lalaki ni Jari nga taga- Betlehem nga mipatay kang Goliat ang Hitihanon, ang kuptanan sa iyang bangkaw sama sa likisan sa maghahabol.
And it was again war at Gob with [the] Philistines and he struck down Elhanan [the] son of Jaare-Oregim [the] Beth-lehemite Goliath the Gittite and [the] wood of spear his [was] like a beam of weavers.
20 Miabot na usab ang higayon nga adunay laing gubat didto sa Gat nga adunay tawo nga taas kaayo ang barog nga adunay unom ka mga tudlo sa matag kamot ug adunay unom ka mga tudlo sa matag tiil, 24 tanan ang gidaghanon. Gikan usab siya sa kaliwat ni Repaim.
And it was again war at Gath and he was - a man of (stature *Q(K)*) and [the] fingers of hands his and [the] toes of feet his [were] six and six [was] twenty and four [the] number and also he he was born to the Raphah.
21 Sa dihang iyang giyubit ang Israel, si Jonatan ang anak nga lalaki ni Shama, mipatay kaniya.
And he taunted Israel and he struck down him Jonathan [the] son of (Shimeah *Q(K)*) [the] brother of David.
22 Mao kini sila ang mga kaliwat ni Repaim sa Gat, ug gipamatay sila pinaagi sa kamot ni David ug sa kamot sa iyang mga sundalo.
Four these they were born to the Raphah in Gath and they fell by [the] hand of David and by [the] hand of servants his.
