1 Sa pagkadungog sa rayna sa Seba sa kabantog ni Solomon mahitungod sa ngalan ni Yahweh, miadto siya aron sa pagsulay kaniya sa malisod nga mga pangutana.

Then, too, the queen of Sheba, having heard of the fame of Solomon in the name of the Lord, arrived to test him with enigmas.

2 Miadto siya sa Jerusalem inubanan ang dakong panon sa ginsakopan, uban sa mga kamelyo nga may kargang mga pahumot, daghang bulawan, ug daghang bililhong mga bato. Sa pag-abot niya, giingnan niya si Solomon sa tanan nga anaa sa iyang kasingkasing.

And entering into Jerusalem with a great retinue, and with riches, and with camels carrying aromatics, and with an exceedingly great quantity of gold and precious stones, she went to king Solomon. And she spoke to him all that she held in her heart.

3 Gitubag ni Solomon ang tanan niyang mga pangutana. Walay bisan usa sa iyang mga pangutana nga wala matubag sa hari.

And Solomon taught her, in all the words that she had proposed to him. There was not any word which was able to be hidden from the king, or which he did not answer for her.

4 Sa nakita sa rayna sa Seba ang tanang kaalam ni Solomon, ang palasyo nga iyang gibuhat,

Then, when the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,

5 ang pagkaon nga anaa sa iyang lamesa, ang pagpahimutang sa iyang mga sulugoon, ang pagpamuhat sa iyang mga sulugoon ug sa ilang pagpamisti, lakip na usab ang mga tigdala sa iyang kupa, ug ang pamatasan sa iyang paghalad sa mga halad sinunog didto sa balay ni Yahweh, wala na siyay maisulti pa.

and the food of his table, and the dwelling places of his servants, and the rows of his ministers, and their apparel, and the cupbearers, and the holocausts that he was offering in the house of the Lord, she had no longer any spirit in her.

6 Miingon siya sa hari, “Tinuod gayod ang mga balita nga akong nadungog sa akong yuta mahitungod sa imong mga pulong ug kaalam.

And she said to the king: “The word is true, which I have heard in my own land,

7 Wala ako motuo sa akong nadungog hangtod nga mianhi ako dinhi, ug karon nakita kini sa akong mga mata. Wala gani makatunga ang gisugilon kanako mahitungod sa imong kaalam ug bahandi! Milabaw pa gayod ang imong kabantog nga akong nadungog.

about your words and your wisdom. But I did not believe those who explained it to me, until I went myself and saw it with my own eyes. And I have discovered that the half of it has not been told to me: your wisdom and works are greater than the report that I have heard.

8 Pagkabulahan sa imong mga asawa, ug pagkabulahan sa imong mga sulugoon nga kanunay nag-alagad kanimo, tungod kay makadungog sila sa imong kaalam.

Blessed are your men, and blessed are your servants, who stand before you always, and who hear your wisdom.

9 Hinaot nga mahimaya si Yahweh nga imong Dios nga nahimuot kanimo, ug nagpahimutang kanimo sa trono sa Israel. Tungod kay gihigugma ni Yahweh ang Israel sa walay kataposan, gihimo ka niyang hari, aron buhaton mo ang hustisya ug pagkamatarong!”

Blessed is the Lord your God, whom you have greatly pleased, and who has placed you upon the throne of Israel. For the Lord loves Israel forever, and he has appointed you as king, so that you may accomplish judgment and justice.”

10 Gihatagan niya ang hari ug 120 ka talent nga bulawan ug daghan kaayong mga pahumot ug bililhong mga bato. Wala gayoy makalabaw niining mga pahumot nga gihatag sa rayna sa Seba ngadto kang Haring Solomon ug wala nay naghatag pa kaniya niini pag-usab.

Then she gave the king one hundred twenty talents of gold, and an exceedingly great amount of aromatics and precious stones. No greater quantity of aromatics was ever again brought forth as these, which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

11 Ang panon sa mga sakayan ni Hiram, nga nagdala sa bulawan gikan sa Ofir, nagdala usab gikan sa Ofir sa daghang mga almug nga kahoy ug bililhong mga bato.

Then, too, the navy of Hiram, which carried gold from Ophir, brought an exceedingly great quantity of thyine wood and precious stones from Ophir.

12 Gihaligi sa hari ang mga almug nga kahoy sa templo ni Yahweh ug alang sa palasyo sa hari, sa mga alpa usab ug sa mga lira alang sa mga mang-aawit. Wala na gayoy lain pang almug nga kahoy o makita pa niining panahona.

And the king made, from the thyine wood, the posts of the house of the Lord, and of the house of the king, and citharas and lyres for the musicians. No thyine trees of this kind were ever again brought forth or seen, even to the present day.

13 Gihatag ni Haring Solomon ang tanan nga gitinguha sa rayna sa Seba, bisan unsay iyang gipangayo, dugang pa sa gihatag ni Solomon kaniya sa iyang harianong kadagaya. Busa mipauli siya sa iyang yuta uban ang iyang mga sulugoon.

Then king Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all that she desired and requested of him, aside from what he himself had offered to her from his royal bounty. And she returned and went away to her own land, with her servants.

14 Karon, ang gibug-aton nga nadawat ni Solomon nga bulawan sa usa ka tuig mga 666 ka talent nga bulawan,

Now the weight of the gold that was brought to Solomon each year was six hundred sixty-six talents of gold,

15 wala pay labot ang bulawan nga gidala sa mga tigpamaligya ug sa mga tigpatigayon. Nagpadala usab ug mga bulawan ug mga plata ang tanang mga hari sa Arabia ug mga gobernador didto sa nasod alang kang Solomon.

aside from what was brought to him by the men who were over the tributes, and by the merchants, and by those selling every kind of small item, and by all the kings of Arabia, and by the rulers of the land.

16 Nagbuhat si Haring Solomon ug 200 ka mga dagkong taming gikan sa gipanipis nga bulawan. 600 ka shekels nga bulawan ang gigamit sa matag taming.

Also, king Solomon made two hundred large shields from the purest gold. He dispensed six hundred shekels of gold for the layers of one shield.

17 Nagbuhat usab siya ug 300 ka mga taming gikan sa gipanipis nga bulawan. Tulo ka mina nga bulawan ang gigamit sa matag taming; gibutang kini sa hari didto sa Palasyo sa Kalasangan sa Lebanon.

And for the three hundred crescent-shaped shields of tested gold, there were three hundred minas of gold covering one shield. And the king placed these in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

18 Unya nagbuhat ang hari ug dakong trono hinimo sa tango sa elepante unya gibulitan kini ug lunlon nga bulawan.

Also, king Solomon made a great throne from ivory. And he clothed it with a great quantity of red gold.

19 Adunay unom ka ang-ang ngadto sa trono, ug ang likod nga bahin niini adunay lingin sa ibabaw. Sa matag kilid sa lingkoranan adunay tungtonganan sa bukton, ug ang duha ka mga liyon nagtindog sa kilid sa tungtongan sa bukton.

The throne had six steps, and the summit of the throne was rounded in the back section. And there were two hands, on one side and the other, holding the seat. And two lions were standing beside each hand,

20 May napulog duha ka mga liyon nga nagtindog sa mga ang-ang, nag-inatbangay ang usag-usa sa matag kilid sa mga ang-ang. Walay trono nga sama niini sa ubang gingharian.

with twelve little lions standing upon the six steps, on one side and the other. No similar work has been made, ever in any kingdom.

21 Ang tanang imnanan nga kupa ni Haring Solomon mga bulawan, ug ang tanang imananan nga kupa diha sa Palasyo sa Kalasangan sa Lebanon mga hinimo sa lunlon bulawan. Wala gayoy plata, tungod kay giisip nga dili mahinungdanon ang plata sa panahon ni Solomon.

Moreover, all the vessels from which king Solomon would drink were of gold. And all the items in the house of the forest of Lebanon were of the purest gold. There was no silver, nor was any accounting made of silver in the days of Solomon.

22 Ang hari adunay panon sa mga sakayan nga pangdagat nga magalayag sa kadagatan, uban sa panon sa sakayan ni Hiram. Kausa sa tulo ka tuig magdala ang panon sa sakayan nga pangdagat ug mga bulawan, mga plata, ug mga tango sa elepante, lakip na ang mga dagko ug gagmay nga mga unggoy.

For the navy of the king, once every three years, went with the navy of Hiram by sea to Tarshish, bringing from there gold, and silver, and elephant tusks, and primates, and peacocks.

23 Busa misamot ug kadato ug kamaalamon si Solomon sa tanang hari sa kalibotan.

And so, king Solomon was magnified above all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.

24 Ang tibuok kalibotan nagpangita sa presensya ni Solomon aron pagpamati sa iyang kaalam, nga gibutang sa Dios sa iyang kasingkasing.

And all the earth desired to see the face of Solomon, so as to hear his wisdom, which God had granted to his heart.

25 Kadtong mibisita nagdala ug mga gasa, mga sudlanan sa plata ug sa bulawan, mga bisti, mga hinagiban, ug mga pahumot, lakip na ang mga kabayo ug mga mula sa matag tuig.

And each one brought him gifts, vessels of silver and of gold, clothing and weapons of war, as well as aromatics, and horses, and mules, throughout each year.

26 Nagtigom si Solomon ug mga karwahe ug mga mangangabayo. Aduna siyay 1, 400 ka mga karwahe ug 12, 000 ka mga sundalong mangabayo nga iyang gibutang sa mga siyudad sa karwahe ug uban kaniya sa Jerusalem.

And Solomon gathered together the chariots and horsemen. And he had one thousand four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen. And he placed them in the walled cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

27 Adunay plata ang hari didto sa Jerusalem nga sama kadaghan sa mga bato sa yuta. Gipadaghan niya ang kahoy nga sidro sama sa kahoy nga sikamoro nga anaa sa kapatagan.

And he caused silver to be as abundant in Jerusalem as stones, and he supplied a multitude of cedars like the sycamores that grow in the plains.

28 Nanag-iya si Solomon ug mga kabayo nga pinalit gikan sa Ehipto ug sa Cilicia. Gipalit kini sa mga tigpatigayon sa hari sa panon sa kahayopan, ang tagsatagsa ka panon may bili.

And horses were brought for Solomon from Egypt and from Kue. For the merchants of the king were buying these from Kue. And they paid out the established price.

29 Mapalit ang karwahe gikan sa Ehipto ug 600 ka shekels nga plata ang kada usa, ug ang mga kabayo tag-150 ka shekels ang kada usa. Daghan niini ang gipamaligya ngadto sa mga hari sa Hitihanon ug sa taga-Aram.

Now a four-horse chariot would be sent from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty. And in this manner, all the kings of the Hittites and of Syria were selling horses.
